I keep hearing people say "I know it sounds weird" or "for some reason I'm excited about Astrobot". It's not weird because the game looks great. It's ok to be excited about a game that doesn't have blood and viscera. Games are supposed to be fun, after all😊
NBA 2K25 a top game? Nah. 2K has become too greedy. $200 worth of VC just to build a decent player, in addition to the $100 All-Star Edition. I'm done with NBA 2K.
@@JamesHayydenthat’s how I feel about FIFA (EAFC) I hate those mfrs but I love the sport. I did the “I refuse to buy!” for a couple years and guess what…they keep getting bigger. Bastards got me.
The problem is playing MyPlayer or MyTeam. I only play franchise mode and I love the game every year. I average about 3 seasons with a team before the next year's game comes out. I get my $70 value while y'all are spending $200 trying to show off the new socks you got against some randos.
@@YumariYatasuka you clearly aren't old enough to remember the terribly made 360s. They had to book an additional billion for warranties, for how terrible it was. i haven't gone backto their consoles after early adopting the others.
The bonuses are just mostly ports & remastereds. I'd die happy if Capcom decided to remaster the Final Fight trilogy or make a Final Fight 4! Also remaster or port Street Fighter x Tekken to PS4 pleeeeeaase like they're doing for all the old MvC games! The only place to play that game is on consoles (PS3 & XBX 360). The PC version is broken af
Plucky Squire is definitely the game I'm most looking forward to definitely this next month. Tiny Glade isn't really my thing but it looks good for people who like that kind of thing.
Holy crap, I forgot all about The Plucky Squire. That game had so much talk when it was announced and it just kinda fizzled out. Hope the release reignites that all again.
That was the first game I played to give me a more or less “open world” experience. Whenever my friends would talk about GTA years later, I’d be like “yeah, but did you play Body Harvest?” 😂
Frostpunk, Dead Rising, Space Marine, Age of Mythology, Epic Mickey, Lolypop Chainsaw, Final Fantasy AND God of War. September is pulling out the big guns this year.
On September 10th a game called Satisfactory is having their 1.0 release. It is a factory building, resource management, automation type of game that I personally really enjoy. The game has been in development for many years now where it's gone through so much refinement that it's become a truly satisfying factory game. If you're any bit of a fan of automation games I would recommend checking it out on September 10th.
Why won't anybody talk about Gori Cuddly Carnage and The Plucky Squire? Gori is shaping up to be a fantastic original god of war hack n slash and Plucky Squire just looks amazing. Both are out this month and are two of my most anticipated titles this and last year
With no new Mario Galaxy or Odyssey on the horizon, this is #1 for me. Great mascot, tons of character and production values and if Rescue Mission and Playroom are any indication, a super innovative and joyous time to play.
@manic_misfit9722 Then I guess that you don't like this kind of game. For me GoTY is between Stellar Blade and Astro Bot (I know it's not out yet, but a full version of the demo would easily be a GoTY contender), hopefully I'll find time to play Rise of the Ronin before the end of the year because open world Nioh should be a GoTY contender for me.
Astros Playroom for the PS5 was a hell of a tech demo for the system, and the collectibles were near too as they were all callbacks to sonys earlier things. Even quite a few goodies that never made it out of japan.
Astro Bot is getting a full fledge game, i can't wait, i just wish it had PSVR 2 support since we never got a PSVR 2 version of Astro Bot Rescue Mission, regardless, i can't wait to see what Team Asobi have for us (it's like a lost game from Japan Studio) :)
Not weird at all re Astro bot. Doenst sound as if Falcon played the free one on ps5 at launch. It’s far more than a tech demo, and THAT game paid homage to the PlayStation etc. It’s a solid platformer that’s up there with the best of them.
To be fair thou ghSeptembe rgenerll yis when th gam eindustr ykicks back int ogear really. I'm only really looking forward to 2 more games this year FC25 and Dragon Age Veilguard
As far as I'm aware, the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is being released digitally in Sept, but the physical version is scheduled for Nov. As far as I know.
You better believe I'm getting the remaster of Dead Rising. It was the best zombie game I've ever played and when I first got my hands on it in 2006 it was absolutely mindblowing to see that many of them on screen at one time.
The Astro's Playroom game that comes with the ps5 as a tech demo is one of my all time favorites so to see they're releasing a full astro bot game, soooooooo excited
Thank god for games like AstroBot. If a game doesn’t have blood, guts and decapitations, the more gore and “ultra-realism” the better, it’s pretty much written off by most gamers.
A dlc would've made so much more sense. Reach the millions of players who already bought HL and expand on it. I don't think the game will be as successful as that could have been.
3rd remnant 2 dlc will arrive in september, too. Looking forward to that the most. Space marine is so hyped but i am very concerned about performance, so i am very reserved about that
Perfomance is good. Early access reviwers tested it with recommended CPU and the most popular GPU (3060). 55+ on Ultra 1080p no upscaling, 65+ on High with mostly lighting being a bit less impressive.
@@alexjensen007guess my pc could have a chance at handling it then. Thx for pointing this out. But i wanted to play on console and thats sadly a different beast
@@EjayT06 well strap in and grab your build gun cause we’re goin gold in 2 weeks, also if you haven’t already check out coffee stains quantum technology teaser trailer
September is absolutely packed. Space Marine 2, FF16 and god of war ports, frostpunk 2, lolipop chainshaw remasters are all games I want. After a pretty garbage year this month is going to be good
The one I'm most anticipating the most is Star Trucker, looks very unique and man I love trucking games and space games on top of that it releases the same day as my birthday.
The "tech demo" made me genuinely feel like a kid again, hearkening back to my amazement at the transition from 2D to 3D with the PS1 (and all the nostalgic astro-costumes amplified it, ofc). Truly one of the best gaming experiences I've had since the beginning of the 10's or something.
My games for September are Astro Bot and Warhammer 40 space marine 2 and some 6th gen heavy hitters like Urban Chaos, Darkwatch, and Scarface the World is Yours
I’ll make it easy for everyone 1. Space marine 2 2. Space marine 2 3. Space marine 2 4. Space marine 2 5. Space marine 2 6. Space marine 2 7. Space marine 2 8. Space marine 2 9. Space marine 2 10. Space marine 2
1:25 How could you not want this? Two letters, one word. T J Rotolo, he's not in it, they're not getting a dime. How's THAT for not wanting to hire him because he's in a union?" That's why they didn't hire him, TJ Unionized, so they kicked his can off the curb around the time of Dead Rising 4, Capcom are not fond of Unions.
Silent Hill 2 Remake is a lost cause. Too many folks trying to fuck up the game with their bullshit as they always do. I wouldn't hold my breath for that game.
@@colbylawson5331 I'm passing on it. Konami handed it to a western studio means it will be DOA 😂 The rest of the year for me is: - Metaphor: ReFantazio - Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Sonic X Shadow Generations - Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP - Stalker 2: Heart of Chernoybl? Maybe - Indiana Jones and The Great Circle (PC) maybe
Astrobot is the only one I’m hyped for. I’m in my late 20s, started off with an N64 at the age of 3. 3D platformers were my first foray into gaming. Astrobot seems to be in the vein of the greats of that era.
