Saint's Row 2022 wasn't horrendous. It was painfully goofy and cringe. This list is about games that should never have seen the light of day. I can't believe The Quiet Man wasn't mentioned.
@@williamyoung9401 what you are describing is saints row after it became popular. 1 and 2 were great games, in some ways, better than modern GTA games. sure GTA is beter. but the customization, the characters, the depth, i felt more involved in saints rows story than any GTA story...great games. then 3 came out and started doing some reboot computer virus gameplay shit.

MK vs DC Universe was fun. It also revitalized the MK series and gave birth to the Injustice series where they have cameos from the other universe. Joker was in MK11 and Subzero, Scorpion, and Raiden were in the Injustice series as DLC.

Honestly, the DC and MK game hit its target audience. When me and my buddies were little kids we absolutely loved it lol. It was so stupid that it was awesome lmao.

Some of these games leave me with the impression that the creator couldn't cut it as a filmmaker, so they resigned themselves to game development, which also meant they burnt through their therapist budget so they incorporated all their angst and depression into a brooding lead protagonist.
If they made that Dinner Date game with controls like Surgeon Simulator that could actually be a hilarious game, but they also would have to add your date as an NPC 😂
I think there should be some mention of Injustice: Gods Among Us while talking about MK vs DC. It was a really solid fighint game that came later and it even had some Mortal Kombat characters that fit in.
I'm honestly surprised there isn't a good Fast & Furious game. It's GTA, G.I Joe, and Avengers (kinda, and you can't prove me wrong) all wrapped into one, so everything you need for a banger is there. So baffling. 😂

MK VS DC will always get my respect because I played it as a kid and it was fun to my teen brain and because it literally is the reason we got the INJUSTICE franchise.
I guarantee you he hasn't played even half the games he mentions in any of these kinds of lists. I say that because the shit he says about them sometimes is so painfully off the mark and factually inaccurate that the only way you could say it is if you were just reading a script that was written using info some dipshit intern skimmed google to look up.
I want to nominate Cryosyasis. It's a 2008 Ukrainian game set on a Russian nuclear tanker ship frozen in the artic. You're reliving an old tragedy trying to alter the outcome, as the ship is haunted by the specters of the past. Sounds cool, but you move about 1 foot every 10 seconds, and jump about 3 inches, and platforming is not uncommon throughout. Still a memorable game, but it was dumb and painful to play!
Now see that sounds like it'd be an awesome game if done correctly. It sounds very similar to a game called Return of the Obra Din, which WAS actually well executed. Why bother with half-assed platforming when your story can stand on its own?
Anthem was painful for me. Boring combat, basic and repetitive mission, awful story, and mediocre loot that all looks and feels the same. It was a proof of concept sold for $60. I don’t know how it doesn’t count as fraud.
I loved anthem. Was excited for 2.0 but then ea dropped it, that was a shady move. I agree it could count as fraud, bc they still selling it in this unfinished state!
ok, wow.... I think that shitty detective game wasn't just voiced by AI, but written, programmed, and produced by AI. I think the only human interaction in its creation was someone slicked the Start button on their screen to make the AI make the game.
Yeah forza horizon 5 is still £50 and that is not a new game but I have noticed it goes on sale for half price sometimes so one of these days I’m gonna get on sale I’m not paying £50 for it 😏
9:13 Are you crazy? The story must be awesome, it stars two women (awesome), one is a minority (totally awesome), could the be LGTBQIA+, maybe (Extremely awesome). With all those factors how can you say the story isn't good. If I learned anything from modern times, those are three of the hallmarks of a great story and only haters, and 'ists and 'phobes lie and say the story isn't good.
