As a person who grew up in North Florida I really appreciate the attention you have given the springs near where I grew up. Those places are why I think the middle to north part of the state is the best place to live overall. It’s great to see a video geared towards nature lovers. Keep up,the good work!
So glad you enjoyed this video! We saw lots of Florida videos but didn’t really find any we liked so it was time to change that for this beautiful state 🔥
Greetings from Naples, Florida. We enjoyed the tour of our beautiful state. We have been to most of the locations. Thank you so much f or sharing with us. 👍
Kara we feel that! We grew up in Cleveland, OH and barely ever explored Ohio at all. Sometimes when you are from an area you don't branch out to some places haha it's the weirdest thing. Hope you have the best mini road trip ever to these springs
@@ian.and.ana. absolutely! I find myself doing my favorite things on repeat and forget to branch out, and Florida has so many beautiful spots to experience. I’m from South Dakota and it was fun seeing you guys discover some of my favorite places!
Watching one of your videos is like (very fun) homework. I open the video, I keep google maps right next to it and type in every place you mention and add them to my list :) Can't wait for the Europe videos! Woot woot
Haha Fieke I did the same thing 5 years ago when I was watching one of my favorite travel vloggers, Lost Leblanc! It's so much fun seeing where all these crazy cool places are on Google Maps. Kinda addicting!! Thanks for this amazing comment and can't wait to bring you along to Europe, it's about to be epic WOOT WOOT
Clearwater Beach is nice but to commercialized for me, Siesta Key Beach is much nicer, better sand, more laid back, fewer hotels it's just a nice neighborhood kind of beach. Have fun in Europe.
Totally understand your point but like Ana said she is a little bias haha! We have been to siesta key many of times but just never really LOVED it. To each there own when you travel!
I have to say this is the best video on Florida I have seen in a long time. My dad used to have a pasta shop in Orlando and he used to sell the bubble room pasta. I ate there a lot again I'm gonna say again 👍👍 this is the best video I've seen about Florida in a long time hey when you go to Europe stay safe stay strong stay healthy God bless and enjoy life ✌💖💪👨🍳🎅🚌👍
Wow thank you so much for that amazing compliment! You are the bomb! That is very cool that he served bubble room pasta. Hope you have an awesome summer
Shout out from Largo!!! Indian Rocks is a nice slower pace compared to Clearwater Beach. CB is for action and fun and IRB is for relaxing and chill. A lot of great places I have visited in my home state made it to your list and a few I need to visit. Thanks for a great video.
One of the best Florida and travel videos out there !!! U hit so many questions and thoughts perfectly. And areas that aren’t common. Love it. Officially subscribing 😁💗
Woot woot. A breath of fresh air. Thank goodness I have you guys to show me places I will most likely never get to see. With your cameras, drones and adventurous spirit I get to go crazy cool places. Europe here we come.
WOOT WOOT! Steve we are both really excited to bring you on this next big adventure of yours. You know one of the biggest reasons we create videos is to help those that can't travel
If you haven’t already you NEED to get to Dry Tortugas National Park. It’s a beautiful day trip and definitely one of the most unique places in the US. Thanks for this video, who knew the springs could be this amazing although the thought of an alligator lurking nearby is a little disturbing lol
We went to Utah to see Zion and Brice and now in November we will be going to Sandial lsland What a treat to see that you guys went there and the places to check out when we are there. Keep on keeping on hoot hoot
I live in Jupiter FL and you have to add Riverbend Park to your list for your next visit!! It is a completely different ecosystem. Only 15 minutes west of the beach. Over 12 miles of bike/walking trails but the best part is kayaking down the river! After the first small dam the path narrows and starts winding. There is so much lush foliage, even areas with long hanging vines.
Wow... definitely glad I found this one. Thanks a bunch. If you're ever headed to Puerto Rico and need any info feel free to reach out. I feel like I owe you for this lol.
Awww Marie we love you too!! Haha thanks for watching our videos and coming on all these adventures with us WOOT WOOT! Excited for you to experience them and would love to hear which spots are your favorite one day
@@ian.and.ana. I checked out Corona arch, yant flats, Primitive Trail at Arches (🤯) and Snow Canyon last month, thanks for your awesome recommendations! I’m actually headed to Florida at the end of this month, stoked to see more of your Florida videos.
Great video guys. I live right at the Gulf Coast in Mississippi and have never been to any of these places. I will definitely be taking a road trip, real soon. 😉
Nice views of Florida Ian and Ana... very nice... loved the vibe of Key West, and its' historic places. If you ever come up to Michigan (3,288 miles of shoreline!) be sure to do a "Gold Coast" tour (and videos) from Sleeping Bear sand dunes (400 feet tall along Lake Michigan) to Mackinac Island. An amazing spot of Pure Michigan! Cheer ~ Gary in Michigan.
@@ian.and.ana. I started going to 3 Sisters Crystal River and Rainbow river in the 90s. It was " was" a locals only type secret. Sadly with all the tech and advertising they are all packed . This popularity gas been destroying the banks and sea grass the main source of the food for the Manatee. You won't see nearly as many as we did then. It's really sad all the spring creatures suffering . Great for business profits , not the springs . Thanks for mentioning to give them space . Too many tourists just have to touch and get a selfie with them. One idiot made the news for RIDING one 😡.
There are a couple on the list that I need to get to. Rainbow River is probably my top Florida spot although it is getting a little crowded. Went to the lighthouse in Jupiter and discovered at the top that my wife is afraid of heights (I should have known that but somehow didn't).
Hi guys. There are many places to visit in Mexico but for me there is nothing like the southeast. We have beaches for diving or snorkeling with warm and clear water. Places known worldwide as Cancun - Cozumel and the Riviera Maya. But the best of all are it's magical towns with archaeological sites, lagoons and waterfall. Unlike the tourist area the prices are more accesibles. The states nearby are Campeche, Oaxaca and Chiapas. Places to visit ( palenque- cascadas de Aguazul - laguna de Montebello - San Cristóbal - puerto escondido - Zipolite - Mazunte - Calakmul - edzna - chicken itza ) Nice Weather most of the time. Greetings and keep enjoying what you do because these experiences are priceless.
We hello guys.. missed you both it's been a long time since I was in. YT suspended me. I'm back now, nice seeing both of you... Thanks for sharing this wonderful Florida tour.. definitely will be on my list. Great job great information and of course you guys Rock...be safe always and have a blessed day ahead my lovely couple.
nice to see your vlog....been to the Florida Keys many imes and brings back great memories. Bahia Honda is a nice state park and the beaches are good. Glad you guys are ok
@@ian.and.ana. once Canada opens up for interntational travellers...gonna invite you 2 to Turks and Caicos..there is room at the place i am renting....April 2022
LOVE this video! Siesta Key and Anna Maria Island are Gorgeous beaches as well. Quick question, what is your favorite gear for snorkeling, i want to buy and just would like your recommendation as you seem like water creatures. I recently discovered this channel and I just love it 💕 thank you for the wonderful content
So excited for you to head to Greece! I've commented on like all your posts about this, but one more time can't hurt lol! You HAVE to check out the island Aegina. I stayed at Vrachokipos. The hosts are AMAZING, the views are INCREDIBLE, and this whole island is honestly a GEM. Okay, promise I'll stop gushing over it. :)
Wow, I was on Sannibel today! My wife and I just moved to Fort Myers from Texas for my job. Check out Siesta Key next time your in Florida. In my opinion it’s one of the best beaches around here. I get why Van life on the Sanibel causeway would be perfect though.
What's up Brandon!! How are you liking the move? We have loved our time here in Florida and are also thinking about settling down here later in life! Siesta Key is beautiful too!
Some extra things about jupiter you have tons of good there like jupiter inlet, Cato's Bridge, and coral cove, just make sure you do your research and you should be good to go.
Loved this video. I was expecting you guys to list the generic places like Miami and Orlando and Tampa, but you didn't. I'm making a list of U.S. Destinations for each state and I'm on Florida right now, and I have Miami, Orlando and Tampa on my list, but I wanted to see more then just the hot spots. See what else Florida has to offer. Aside from Key West, I hadn't heard of the rest of the places you guys had on your list. I put them down on mine while I was watching the video. Can't wait to check out Florida. And I'm glad you guys mentioned that at some of the destinations, winter is the best time to go and see them. That's what I was planning on doing myself, visit Florida sometime between December-March. Sorry for rambling. Love your videos! You guys seem like such good people, I hope someday maybe while I'm on the road, I might run into you guys. I would love to meet you, inspirational to me.
Thank you so much for this thoughtful comment!! Well we are so happy you got some value out of this video and can't wait to hear what place you loved the most! It would be so cool to meet you on the road
I’m from FL and some of my favorite places that aren’t big cities are St Augustine, Anna Maria Island, Tarpon Springs (cool greek feel), three sisters springs, kings landing (another spring), fort de soto state park. You should look into these!
@@morganbacc Will do, I'm really looking forward to visiting St. Augustine. I've heard it has a very Spain/European look and feel. Plus it's the oldest established town in the U.S.
Yes sadly these are now " commercial" places also. Thanks to technology , social media you tube . The springs were mostly a locals only spot. Now they look like a lazy river in a theme park. The heavy tourism eroding the banks . Manatee aren't seen in the large numbers we use to see them in 90s early 2000s. Again the heavy river traffic destroying their main food source , the river grass. I hate when I see them advertised like this. Tourism is what destroys native waters and lands. Florida started the advertising and just like that the Springs and adjoining rivers are paying the price . Money over anything .
We live in Louisville, KY, but Destin is “little Kentucky” during the summer and every Spring Break. You can honestly walk through any hotel or resort parking lot and see that at least 50% or more of the license plates are from KY. My grandparents have a condo in SanDestin and I have been going for all 39 years of my life, so it’s like home to me. But….it’s so different now and it’s SO overly crowded. We love going from late September to May, so the tourists (like us, lol) aren’t there.
Visting FL soon and I stumbled across this awesome video! a lot of these things look so fun (I'm a water lover) But holy alligators?! I know that you didn't experience any thank goodness, but those bodies of water that you were in seem like where the alligators could live. omg haha
Thumbs up, great video. But you left out a ton of places especially NW Florida like Santa Rosa & Destin. I honestly believe you never stopped there. There is no way it did not make the top 10! You guys need to visit and make an additional video about that area!
Also would be nice if you can put a preferred direction for people flying into florida..Ex: Preffred airports to land and direction to head route that covers them all..thanks great where
@@ian.and.ana. We're building a home at Punta Gorda on the peace River. We fell in love with Florida Especially the Gulf side. I saved all your spots and will go visit. Thank you for the information beautiful couple.
She made all of those!! She went up to Michaels to get the beads and elastic band for them. They are our favorite! Thanks for asking and hope you enjoyed the video WOOT WOOT
I will agree that this sounds a bit way too scripted and even a little unnatural. The scenery you showed and spots you mentioned were great though and i def have added them to my florida list. I did visit silver glen springs and i agree it was also one of my favorites! Just so clear!! I’d recommend more in the moment style reviews of places while you are actually there and more of the adventure in these places instead of what sounds like reading from a script after already visiting!
