I've got Motorstosm but it's a weak game for me. I fully recommend MUD and NfS MW. I don't know why but NfS MW has a small problem with police AI- they just disappear in several moments despite of maximum level of the pursuit heat. When I wanted to reach a new record of the pursuit I had to search them. Such a pity that EA didn't port first NfS MW from PS2. It was really challenging and made a lot fun more! :)
+shipu302 Race games? Where? O.o Gran Turismo, Race Grid, DriveCLub, and others are not present for this console! The games show in this video are too few and with poor graphics! Mod Nation is not a serious racing game, MotoGP is another game, F1 2011 is only a mod of F1 2009 for PSP, NFS doesn't have a manual shift...the only serious race game is WRC! But this console is dead...
+shipu302 Ps Vita is dead because have few games. The only games that you play are "indie" or stupid child game, but not exist ONE seriois game for this console! Sony declared the "dead" for this Vita, is not only my opinion...
Psvita came out with some heavy shit at first to bring ppl in to buy the handheld. As soon as sales went up, their games have fucking sucked. Enough of the Asian rpg games. Come out with some bangers already! I've seen what's to come this year, and I'm most definitely disappointed
the track customization thing in ModNation Racers: Road trip, if Nintendo did that, it would be "Super Mario Kart Maker", hey Nintendo should do that on the Switch
I'm angry because they never made a gran turismo game for the psvita also this ridger racer for the psvita is really bad and disgusting because the A.I. sucks compared to the psp version thats i way better than this shit
in 2020 i find it say that this video's title was so optimistic back in 2014 about this system. the PS vita only ever had 16 racing games ever released for it. the vita was such a huge potential that sony failed to market :/
SMH at Ridge Racer for the Vita - what an awful half arsed attempt at a game. If Namco really wanted to be that lazy with the game they could have just ported Ridge Racer 2 on the PSP over, dressed it up with some slightly improved graphics, throw in an online mode and they would have been set.
youssef jarray The GT wich proposal Sony for PsVita is NOT for this console (is old!), but is only for PSP remastered for Vita!!! I want a REAL GT for PSVita! Not a copy... for the old GT I use PSP...
@@mattjocelyn1947 You're right. Now the Switch has a ton of racing games. Some of them are horrible but you've got choices for those who like karts or arcade racing gaming. We are still lacking of good simulators, but maybe with some time we'll get one. Yes, I bought my Switch this year. It's cool.
To me it seems that EA forgot what nfs is all about its about street racing, dominating, simple cars like bmw nissan toyota, dodge, ford, but now they give us million dollar cars, no car tiuning and all that s%##
Hey Matthew, if you have a TV in your room, robust wifi and can live with 720p resolution you could get a PS TV (game system) for like $40 and use your PS4 controller to remote play your PS4 to your other TV.
+Marion Hinzman Well on my PSTV I dont have many Need For Speeds, I went to search for them and nothing. Even thou the website said there were compatible games like Pro Street and Undercover, they werent there. But Motorstorm Arctic Edge is available and thats a pretty decent game! xD
It would be cool to see a gt game for the vita and I don't mean a prologue a actual full game with license test and only given 20grand to buy a car and win races
I like Asphalt Injection. It's probably the only "real" portable racer on the Vita. By that, I mean, it's the only one that can be used to kill a quick 5minutes and then put back down no problem. The reason it's not on this list is because the rest of the games on the list are superior games. You may not like some of the games personally but that doesn't mean Asphalt is better. I'm not really a fan of F1 or Super Bike racing games and would pick and play Asphalt every time over them. However, both of those games are still technically better than Asphalt.
My problem with the vita is its not powerful enough to accomplish what it needs to. Were this device could shine in the future is streaming. I dont know if sony will push it hard enough though. Meaning that sony should have a server building with the most powerful gaming computers in the world and update the GPUS in those computers regularly and use those computers for game streaming. Also the vita is dated now. 720p screens are not cutting edge anymore. I think Sony/ the Vita had its window of opportunity and fan base but sony waited to long and people lost interest. A much better option would be a shield portable or shield tablet. The shield tablet has a 1920x1200p display and the shield portable has a 720p display. Also you can plug thease devices into your 1080p TV and use them as a console and play games at 1080p. Also the Nvidia tablet has a real controller also the shield portable has a nice built in controller. Also the Tegra 4 in the portable is much more powerful than the VITA. Also the K1 is a Kepler GPU graphics processing unit. It has 192 Kepler cores. Also the games on android here are a few. Grandtheft auto 3, GTA Vice city, GTA San Andreas, Half life 2, Portal 2, NOVA 3, AVP Evolution, Max payne, Dead trigger2,Injustice,Asphalt8,Real racing 3, Need for speed most wanted,Dungeon hunter 4,MC4,MC5,ARC:Redux,Real boxing,Crazy Taxi,Aces,The walking dead seasons,Shadow gun,Riptied GP2, The Sonic series,Beach buggy Blitz,Shine Runner,Neon Shadow. All of thease games are on android and thease are really good games not angry bird crap. Also all of thease games can be played with a controller either on the device or in console mode at 1080p. Also with in the game you can change graphical settings. Such as resolution, shadowing and light effect and just over all quality of the game. Ontop of all of thus theres the GRID app that allows you to stream games for free from NVIDIA servers. This is a list of those games as of now. Alan wake American Nightmare,Borderlands,Borderlands 2, Darksiders, Darksiders 2,Gas Guzzlers:Extreme,Overlord 2, Dead Island,MX vs. ATV Reflex,Pixel junk Monsters, Red Faction: Armageddon,Street Fighter X Tekken, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Race Driver Grid, Saints Row: The Third, Strike suite Zero, Trine 2, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Thease are all free to stream games and you can play thease at 1920x1080p on ultra settings on the big screen or on the Nvidia tablet. The shield will play thease games as well but at 720p. Also if you have a NVIDIA GTX 670 series or higher and a good router and good Internet connection you can stream basically all of your PC games to your shield device or play in console mode on your 1080p TV or what ever TV you have as long as it has an HDMI port. Also its android so you get SKYPE, FB, Twitter,Netflix,Hulu,Gmail,RU-vid,Text plus,Yahoo messenger if anyone uses that any more lol,Starz streaming to your tv with your chrome cast and that works for hbo streaming Netflix. SO basically anything thats available on android is available on your shield device. I know this is allot but thats what you get with a shield device allot.
***** Im sorry you can't read. I may not have used punctuation but its still easy to read. I guess some people take longer to learn things than others. Hope you can read this. Dont want to confuse your simple mind.
matt matthew While I would agree, the Shields are technically superior in terms of hardware, rarely does that dictate the winner. Software is what sells hardware. Thankfully, there are a lot of great games on the Shield as well, but that doesn't mean Sony couldn't pull the Vita out of the pit it dug itself. If they could just port over Gran Turismo 6, they'd have a real winner in terms of racing (and since it's a game they own the rights to, it'd be a racing game on no other system). I also want to go out on a limb and say the ability for a portable to stream is nice, but not a deal breaker since the biggest reason for something on the go is to be on the go. Few people have a mobile internet connection strong enough to stream, so if that's what you're into, you'd be stuck where ever you happen to be. Instead, the games the system can play are definitely the ones a gamer should pay attention to. As I already stated, there's a lot to work with in the Vita. In terms of hardware, they packed a lot into it. Shame they skimped out on the screen. It really wasn't a great compliment to the rest of the system. It's probably also too late to fix this problem since the hardware is out there already. Maybe they could pull a "New 3DS" and release a Vita with slightly better specs and a new screen with a higher resolution. On last thing I wanted to say is, next time please break up your comment into some paragraphs. I about got an eye strain headache trying to read everything you wrote. Nice information though.
The reason its failing is cuz games cost too much too make cuz the graphics are very good for a handheld and their is more risk involved, now the 3ds is shit that is why it has so many games cuz instead of spending 30 mill on a vita game they spend one mill on 3ds games just cuz of the graphics difference
