I feel Biohazard should've been higher because of the DLC content. Although with 4, the U3 boss fight in the original was hollow and Krauser's final fight in Separate Ways was rather disappointing with the fact that he's supposed to be dead after Leon killed him.

You might have missed this but I said I wasn’t including DLC. I didn’t think it was fair since DLC is additional content purchased for the main game.

Despite all the issues people have with RE6 , no one can deny that one-eyed t-rex version of simons is amazing. Great list Rubin. As a die hard Re fan i love your Re videos.

I don't think so. Simmons as a character and as a boss is ridiculous and tedious. You fight him way to many times and consecutively, quickly overstaying his welcome.

@Rafesco in a game full of "ridiculous" bosses, calling Simmons ridiculous is a goofy take. You could literally say the same about William Birkin and Nemesis if you're going to say he "overstayed his welcome".

Funny because the t-rex transformation was one of the most heavily criticized by everybody saying that it was too stupid even by RE standard and, for me, idk, RE was a pretty stupid franchise back then (it still is in their movies and CGI prohects but the remake takes a more serious and realistic approach)

Interesting because I don't look at the Resident Evil bosses the same way as I do to Souls bosses. While there are some great bosses in different entries, Resident Evil Village is the only one that I can think of when talking about the entire variety of bosses because each of them have their own identity, they differ from each other and they have different fun factors.

Resident evil bosses are so weird for me because while with souls, dmc, or monster hunter your fighting an enemy meant for being killed with a combat system meant for fighting while in resident evil your fighting enemies made for being killed with a combat system made for surviving so its not incredibly fluid but when done right can lead to some insanely fun fights like Krauser and Nemesis

RE4 on the metaquest was fucking amazing and it was my first play through of the game it had me on edge the entire time being in that first person mode and never knowing what would pop out of every twist and turn

For real. The mayor with his spine, verdugo can verdu-go to hell. U9 was terrifying. Salazar and Sadler were both fun. And Krauser. KRAUSER ON PROFESSIONAL!!!!! Man I love this game.

potentially. I've been hesitant about doing content on it because my videos on Silent Hill & Evil Within games have done bad and I feel like they are in the same wheelhouse as Resident Evil. So I'm not sure if I have the audience to do content on specific franchises outside of Resident Evil and instead I tend to do content on Survival Horror and Horror as a whole (unless it's Resident Evil)

Am i the only who thinks last res village boss fight is the best res boss fight?I like this boss fight because it has a variety of attacks and forms unlike the majority of res boss fights which have only 2 or 3 kinds of attacks or they are just slow bosses which walk towards you and they have only one windup attack

All these yrs ive never noticed 1R's boss fights relied more often thn not on creative solutions thn simply "pick ur most powerful weapon,get a safe distance and go pew pew !" Like sure ofc theres more direct fights but u gotta get creative if u wanna win,which is amazin,makes u feel like ur watchin a movie where the MC thinks on the fly on how to defeat the big bad monster 😱 truly classic RE never ceases to amaze me,even decades later ❤

If we are being objective most of RE 6 boss fights could end up here. Its more dynamic than most RE games. Instead of just shoot and pivot with stupid tank controls.

You realize this is ranking the games by bosses and not the bosses themselves right lol. But yeah I see where you’re coming from. It’s why I mentioned in the video that while I love fixed camera more, boss fights are more 3 dimensional in over the shoulder & first person. There’s a few exceptions though

Yeah I’m aware of all these things. Keep in mind video was already longer than 20+ minutes and as I said multiple times throughout the video, I don’t have time to cover everything. As for Nikolai if you’re talking about the chopper situation then I didn’t include it as I didn’t think it added or took away from the topic at hand. Again time constraints 😅

TBH? im currently more hyped about 3 things that are coming Fable Trilogy Remake(My Childhood is safe!) New PoP game we going get and possibly finaly an a Remake of first entry in series! Marvels Hero Shooter cause it looks fun and saddly i cant play Paladins idk why

Well as right now, their are 3 on this list I haven't beaten. Re,code Veronica, and re6. But I'm working on finishing re6 right now. I dont own re or code Veronica on my ps4.

My favorite RE7 boss fight is when the go full Metal Gear with the brothers Jack vs Joe Baker in hand- to- hand combat. Also, Scagdead and the Baby are terrifying. AND RE 2002 is the best game ever.

I disagree, which breaks my heart because RE7 is one of my favorites. But when you think about it you have Marguerite, Baker Chainsaw fight, and if you enjoy it, the final jack fight. The rest of the fights are okay at best unfortunately. It’s enough to earn it a spot on the list but not any higher than 10 imo

@@NerdSpaceGames I don't know...all boss fights in RE1 are much less challenging and even anti-climatic for me. The only boss fight that really made me panic was Neptune. And RE1 Remake is my all time favorite of the franchise. The Bakers and Mia, on the other hand, are much more iconic and difficult. The only downer is Eveline.

@@skeldter I agree the boss fights in RE1 are much less challenging, if fact a lot of them were featured on my easiest boss fights of the franchise list. However, I don't think that automatically makes them bad boss fights. While they don't share the cinematic feeling or the difficulty of RE7, they take on some unique puzzle solving solutions that require a different layer of boss fighting. In fact, I found the fights in that game to be some of the most creative solutions for fixed camera boss fights. Such as creating V-Jolt for Plant 42, pushing the statues to defeat to defeat Lisa Trevor, and the Neptune fight with draining the lab & pushing the generator. You even have your more direct fights with the Tyrant & the Yawn in the library. We'll probably just agree to disagree because imo, while I absolutely love the chainsaw fight with Jack & Marguerite's fight; every other fight was either boring or felt similar to a different fight. Jack Baker in the garage (and to a certain extent even his chainsaw fight) felt similar to the Mia encounter at the start of the game. The fat molded felt similar to the other fat molded creature. As you said earlier, Eveline's fight was bad and even Jack's final fight in the shack felt messy. Not saying the game has bad boss fights, just not on the same level as other games of the franchise. But again, agree to disagree as we obviously see different traits in each of these games despite us both loving both games lol. Which is perfectly fine! Different perspectives is exactly what continues to help the franchise explore different routes and appeal to different fans which keeps the series fresh and innovative.

It does it’s my favorite based on gameplay it’s fast paced and slow at times which has a balance and it’s the only game where I enjoyed every boss fight. Miranda is the best boss in all of resident evil it takes more skill and reflex then any other Boss in resident evil

Bruh why is re6 even of the list. The boss fights all suck ass. They’re long and drag on for no reason. Simons is hand down the worst vilain and most annoying boss fight in a video game.
