@@Kristenn444 That's because it was a song made with Slash from Guns n Roses, and it's not really what I would call 90s rock, it's more of a Power Ballad
So fucking true! Ive got a gig tomorrow (im in a nirvana tribute band) (frontman). Tomorrow I will throw the mic to the ground and then sing while on the ground like Kurt did live in 1991!
first of all jumping into a drum set ain't a rock move, and smashing guitars just proves he's not original enough to have a famous rock move under his. just because you like nirvana and the guy killed himself, doesn't men they're really good, they were just the less worse of the sucky 90's
@@soracle7245 i listen to them, deftones, jimi hendrix experience, and more, while i listen to hip hop aswell Edit: This list of artists i listen to is outdated AF, i now listen to death, Metallica, slayer, Pantera, meshuggah, black sabbath, led zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Beatles, Joy Division, Pink Floyd, Cream, King Crimson, Eric Clapton, Nirvana, ACDC, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Lamb of God, Buckethead, Rage against the Machine, zz top, Rush, Slipknot, and van halen. As far as new popstars and rappers i listen to Post malone, Ski Mask the Slump God, Billie Eilish, Tyler the Creator, Kenrick Lamar, J cole, Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, and Trippie Redd As Far as **OLD** Rappers I listen to Wu Tang, Nas, OutKast, and Kanye
When she said during Chuck, " and he still does it today." I almost cried because this video was made before his death. R.I.P. the god of rock and roll. 🎸
Steven Tyler - backflips Roger Daltrey - mic twirl/spin Dave Lee Roth - Russian split jump Ed Van Halen - running-man jump Robert Plant - singing pose Lemmy Kilmister - upward facing mic stand
Diamond Dave does the mic spin too. Got it from Roger. Even busted his own nose with it. I loved his mid air splits. Poor EVH trying to do mid air splits looked pitiful compared to Dave. One thing I thought was a great move for Eddie was the first 3 of 8 times I saw VH, Eddie ran around stage and kicked his Marshall stacks until they would rock back and forth, but not fall over. But, let me add, your list is GREAT! Steven Tyler's backflips were always from a standing still position. Iconic! He has talked about how bad those have screwed up his feet.
Angus Young is the best! It´s really hard to lay down and spin like a maniac and not miss a grip on the guitar!! The things he do on stage while playing is soo cool!
@@holytransvestite just because he was the king of pop doesnt mean he cant be a rockstar just listen to beat it, privacy, morephine , dirty diana, etc.
+LORD Kapax Tell me, how is KISS not rock? they were Hard Rock in the 1970's and Hair / Glam Metal (Heavy Metal) in the 1980's (They changed their style in the 1980's)
@Jose Suero ik what a fact is lol but what this guy posted was a funny but serious question not a fact tho. thats y i asked what do u mean lol. Were u meaning to post that in the main comment section? Idk Maybe it does fall under the facts catagory.
Freddie isnt that famous!!!!! Its just teens and moms wanting to be special who likes him that much! for people over 30 there are 100s of better groups.
Famous story: Angus Young invented his well-known spasm and freak out on stage one night. He tripped over his guitar chord, stumbled, and (in the spirit of "I meant that!") quickly went into the spasm so he wouldn't look like a dork.
The Who could honestly have their own list at this point lmao. They’re so bonkers that Entwistle just kinda chilling in the back while chaos ensues could be considered a signature move
the thing is, that a bass player knows his intrsument wont break. the neck and body are way tougher than a guitar and you probably wont break it by just smashing is to the ground. :D
@@MasterMarf Yes, John Entwistle said the first time he tried to smash one of his bass guitars, it bounced back into his face, so he never attempted again
iLσσng™ apparently the people at WatchMojo don't have a clue about what Rock music is News Flash WatchMojo: Michael Jackson was credited as "The King of Pop" not Rock
Angus Young's signature move is the duck walk. Although he is well know for guitar spasms, the duck walk is what he's best known for. He creates a spectacle on stage. So much fun to watch live
I'd say the duck walk is more widely known outside the rock scene, but spasms are arguably just as widely recognized by those who care about good music. Also, the duck walk is just not his ... It's like a 14 year old claiming that "It's better to burn out than to fade away" is a quote by Kurt Cobain.
John Wick Nah, not really. I've always heard them as two different genres. Personally, I think that metal has too many subgenres to be considered a sub genre itself. idk tho
Yeah, i would go for that... that move when he puts the guitar on his shoulders and point it at the crowd... it kills us every time, it really thrills the crowd, and since it's from a Titan of rock and metal it should have been mentioned at least... can't believe the guys who put this list missed out one of the greatest stage performers in heavy metal history... it really pisses you off doesn't it?!
Me: What video is this? Title: Top 10 Signature Rock Moves. Also me: Ok... Then why is Michael Jackson in it? He's the King of Soda, not the king of bitting heads off of bats.
Skylar Neely during the movie Gump as a child meets Presley when he comes to stay at his mom's Inn, Gump dances to Presley's guitar playing in an unusual way because of his leg braces but it inspires Presley to dance like that. It's a fictional movie though
The mUnky' Yeah, I know what you mean, but Queen used guitars in pretty much every song they put out, which could not be said for MJ. But I get where you're coming from.
Also the fact that MJ is known as the king of POP kinda of makes it a bit weird. Sure he did have lots of rock songs but have two go with myles. They should have put in the Tenacious D power slide.
mega succie I know, she only says the name of the band once. She does say AC/DC. I hear it. It’s just another black and gold dress, or Laurel and Yanney where half the ppl hear something different.
+Night Power How 'bout Pat Metheny's toothache face while soloing? Or James Brown and his famous cape or his ultrafast dance moves? Ah, OK, we were talking about Rock...
Ace Frehley, the original lead guitarist of the rock band KISS, was well known for multiple guitar gimmicks, such as the famous smoking guitar in which smoke would emit through his neck pickup by use of a trap door. He would also utilize fireworks, which would come out of his guitar.
You literally have a guy thats gotten the nickname "the king of pop" ..Pop is not rock...MJ shouldnt be on here. Although I agree its iconic the list isnt about pop.
Justice for Freddie. Theres a lot. 1. EEEEEEEOOOOOOOO (Live Aid) 2. Arm Out/Arm throw (Every concert) 3. Energetic dancing (Live Aid/Every concert) 4. Microphone beat (Radio Gaga) 5. Microphone walk (Live Aid) 6. Audience interaction (Every single Queen concert) 7. Leg shake (Live Aid) 8. -Freddie getting it on with the camera man (Live Aid)-
+Cali Zysk Yes, yes, YES... all the way, fucking good call... yes. Brilliant. However, wouldn't it be more prudent for Queen to have their own top 10? That would be awesome..
Eddie Phillips from The Creation did it first - saw the Creation in a pub in the 90s and the sound that he was making was just incredible - rewrite the history books
Banana kid I LOVE Queen, but their interactions with audiences isn’t exactly a move. A lot of the other comments about Freddy are perfect. Like his mic stand (or lack of it lol) or his eeeeyyyyyooooo.... are perfect and who knows why he’s not up there.
heres a question for you annoying queen fans: WHY DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE EVERYTHING ABOUT FREDDIE MERCURY??? i mean in every video about music alot of people bring up that clown he aint even good.
