you prolly dont care at all but does anyone know a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the login password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!
I use their niacinamide (however you spell it) serum and I absolutely love it! I was torn between theirs and the Ordinary but I decided to go with Inkey after watching Hyrams compare and contrast vídeo between the two brands. Thank you for the video!!
Could you adress the comments about conflicting statements from previous videos, regarding the Alpha Arbutin when you said in a disappointing products video that that was a waste of money?
I remember she said The Inkey List Alpha Arbutin was a most disappointing product. She used the whole tube but saw no difference. Instead she recommended the Hada Labo Arbutin Lotion which is much better.
@@alterlove359 but Hada Labo's lotion is just a toner right? Been using it for months but no effects. Tho I must say I like watery consistency coz a lil (or few drops) really goes a long way and no side effects on me so far.
I love their oat cleansing balm! I use it as a first cleanse. It leaves a bit of a greasy film, which is why I follow up with a very gentle foaming cleanser (Toleriane by La Roche Posay).
I actually like the oily film it leaves on, makes my face feels so smooth like a baby's bottom 😂😂😂 But I do follow it up with Cetaphil's Gentle Cleanser 🤭
I've never bought anything from the Inkey list but I was actually taking notes there are so many products I'd like to try. Thanks for another great Top 10 list and the very detailed explanations of the products and their uses. You are the best, Dr. Dray! 💙
I have the PHA toner too. I like the way it feels on my skin. I’ve just learned about a company called Geek and Gorgeous, they have a PHA+BHA toner. I like the PHA toner by TIL because I feel it’s gentle enough to use when I’m using my Trentinoin.
@ - I started it using it about a week ago, and I think my skin has gotten so... silky. It’s too early to attribute the textural difference to this though, but I like it. (I don’t typically use exfoliants on my face.) Their bottle dispensing system is awful, though.
Please do top 10 avene products including moisturisers & sunscreens. Kindly include Avene Xera Calm Lipid Replenishing AD cream/balm/oil in review. and more european brands bioderma, E45, la roche posay.
@@108finley that was about fragrance free cleansers from Avene. No Moisturizer and Sunscreens from Avene were reviewed in that video. As winter is approaching, thats why I asked her to review Avene & other french brands. becasue european brands are more accessible in most countries (Europe/Middle East/Asia) than american ones (CeraVe/CetaPhil) due to trade situation. It would be of great help for us international viewers. :)
I love the inkey list retinol, collagen, and BHA serum. Along with differin, they've completely changed my skin for the better. The retinol has decreased my brown spots by quite a lot
Absolutely adore their Beta Hydroxy Acid and their Lactic Acid; they've done wonders for my skin (clarifying, brightening, smoothing, acne-control). I also use and enjoy their Q10 serum in the mornings as, hopefully, a bit of anti-oxidant protection.
Hmm, I actually got the Hada Labo arbutin lotion recently, because the Inkey List arbutin serum was in your Disappointing Products video. But I love that cleansing balm!
@@olhakaska2365 i suggest you to try The Ordinary instead. Hada Labo Shirojyun series aren't really effective at treating hyperpigmentation. I used the lotion for almost a year, it barely treated hyperpigmentation on my skin.
I love the Inky List...started using Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Treatment...I no longer have the painful pumps I sometimes get on my scalp between washings. 👍🏼
Living here in the UK I adore the Inkey List products, their value for money and efficient delivery service. They have been my favourite brand I have discovered this year. I have bought their niacinamide, glycolic acid and polyglutamic acid. I enjoy these product very much ❤️🇬🇧
The inkey list >>>>> The ordinary Btw, I rarely see people talking about the Zinc moisturizer, I swear by that one for times like this when we spend a lot of days at home, I feel like you can use it as a mild sunscreen for at home times and it's a good moisturizer at the same time.
Just bought my first several products of Inkey List products today and used them tonight for the first time. Love the way it makes my skin feel, but I cannot wait to see the long term effects and how it helps my skin
I also love the oat cleansing balm. I did not follow the instructions on how to use this on a damp face, as it leaves an oily film even I do double cleanse. I used it on my dry face just like the usual oil cleansing. And it's very mild!
Hi Dr. Dray, I'm on Epiduo and it doesn't sting at all until AFTER I put on an occlusive. I started Epiduo after having no irritation from TheOrdinary retinol 1%. I wash my face with with Cerave Hydrating Cleanser-->No.7 Radiant Results Revitalising toning water-->Meishoku Ceracolla Gel-->Epiduo-->Neutrogena HydroBoost Gel Cream-->Occlusive (I have tried many since this is the stage where my skin would burn) I've used Cerave Baume Hydratant, Cetraben, superdrug aqueous cream, Eucerin face replenishing cream, Vaseline Petrolium Jelly. All of them make my face burn. I used to put occlusives on when I used non-prescription retinols and they never caused any irritation. All the products are fragrance free. The glycerine, panthenol, cholesterol, ceramides on the first 2 products should build up my skin barrier and protect from direct Epiduo...I wait few minutes in between each step and my skin doesn't burn at all after I apply Epiduo (tingles a bit when I put on Neutrogena Gel Cream) but full on burns, itches and stings when I put on the occlusives . I've tried all these products before Epiduo and they never irritated before. I thought the water content on the Hydroboost might take the retinoic acid deeper in the skin but I have used the occlusive without Hydroboost in the routine and it still burned...also, I have a Niacinamide sensitivity....I've once had to leave the Epiduo on the skin without topping up with hydroboost or occlussive for 10 minutes and it didn't sting the whole time but started the moment I put on the occlusive..Should I just forgo topping up with an occlusive? I'm too scared of drying out my skin and breaking the barrier.
Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and your information as a physician for those who wants to improve their skin but doesn’t have a skin condition that needs the care of a physician. All my gratitude to you 🙏🏻
I'm really starting to like this brand. I like the ordinary and all but this is just as good if not better. Dr. Dray you are glowing as usual

Funny to see a different opinion, I hate the Oat Cleansing Balm so much! It barely removes my makeup and it leaves a horrible film on my face (that I obviously have to take off with a second cleanser). Plus the package is not user friendly at all, I find it really hard to get the product out.
I think they are inconsistent. Mine was runny but had a thick consistency, making it hard to spread on the face without tugging. It also didnt rinse out. Leaves a horrible film on the face
I’ve brought the oat cleansing balm because Dr Dray recommended in the past and I love it for removing makeup and mascara. Thank you Dr Dray. Happy Halloween 🎃 👻
I have become your fan; really love how you give information on skincare ingredients in an objective fashion. In the world full of people with intention to marketing, it’s so refreshing to see a genuine review like yours. Thank you so much Dr. Dray❤️.
Um hello, why are you so awesome??! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I love that you recommend AFFORDABLE products to everyone. Because of your channel I have learned to buy skincare from the drugstore instead of expensive brands!! And thank you for recommending the cetaphil redness relief moisturizer! Life saver. ❤️❤️❤️
Salicylic Acid 2% will also work for facial Seborrheic dermatitis! It works very well for me and I have normal to dry skin, no Acne or oily skin AT ALL!
Yay! I'm so glad this brand is on your top 10 list. I've been very curious about the brand ever since you first mentioned it. In my price range too! Thanks, Dr Dray! Happy Friday!! I hope you have a tranquil evening. ❤
@@chloe067 yess we do but I tend to be a little cautious with their products. I have bought several products at different times and som looked like they were really old and they were covered in dust and dirt. Its probably fine for a cleanser but again, i am cautious. A product with an active would be a no from me. Have a great day❤️
My granddaughters 12 and 15 have asked for face wash & moisturizer for Christmas, any recommendations? would inkey list be a good one? They have normal skin, no acne and do not wear makeup. maybe a video for teens 💟☮️
The inkey list only has the salicylic acid cleanser which is for acne. Recently I got the La Roche Posay Toleriane cleanser and it's pretty good, the size is 13 ounces. If not, the cerave cleansers at the drugstore are also pretty good options
i'm so grateful to you for your expertise! you're my favorite skincare channel and you've helped me clear my skin and develop an efficacious moisturizing routine! i cannot thank you enough! my dermatologist is always super busy and doesn't have time to get into the details like this. it really helps. thank you!
I liked your IG post this morning. I have tried the collagen booster I liked the texture, also the retinol it didn't irritate or anything. I think I need to use them for longer periods than I did.
After years of using benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, clindomycin, tretinoin... The pha toner has helped my skin SO much. I still get hormonal breakouts, but my acne has cleared up significantly. We're taking 20 years of trying stuff. I just started my second bottle (a little goes a long way, so it lasts much longer than you would think) - I use at night with cetaphil gentle cleanser and cerave in the tub. This is the only active I use besides once in a while swapping in the cos rx bha liquid if I feel like I need it (and spf of course). There's definitely something to the "less is more" approach.
Pairing this PGA with TO Marine Hyarluonics (for me, much more effective) makes an astonishing plumper for 60+ estrogen & collagen deprived skin!. I use after thoroughly wetting or cleansing my face, apply a thin peptide serum, then HA, then a pea-size squirt of PGA. Give it a minute to set and top with a little Cerave tub cream, or whatever. Have been doing this for the last month & result is consistent. May not have dramatic results if your skin is already in good condition.
Can’t tell you how much I’ve learned from you. Want to kindly request if you would be able to include any diagrams of the anatomy of the skin to help visual learners like me understand how deep these ingredients go and which parts of the skin it affects.
@Dr Dray, This is a great idea! Infographics in some of these topics could be amazing. Dr. Dray, I am an acupuncturist and graphic designer with a specialty in infographics. My healthcare background with design could be a fun project. Please message if interested in help with this. Could be cool!
Interested to know your thoughts on The Inkey List’s Q10 and their 15% Vitamin C & EGF Brightening Serum ... have you tried / used either? What are your thoughts on them?
In one of her videos she said she didn’t recommend the alpha Arbutin from the inkey list ! 7 months ago she said it did nothing for her, the video is called waSte of money disappointing products
@@lavheejoycecallao1553 try it anyways its what I did, I bought it and I’m using it, so far no difference I haven’t finished my first bottle, But remember that you have to be consistent with a product and just using one bottle doesn’t mean that doesn’t work. You need At least 6 months of use
@@karenbeltrandez 6 months of use is way too long to test a product or know whether or not it works for you. Standard timeframe is 4 to 12 weeks. I work for. a dermatologist so I can confirm this.
@@lavheejoycecallao1553 I’ve been using the Ordinary alpha arbutin for months as everyone swears by it. Hasn’t done anything to my hyperpigmentation(maybe I have another reason), has helped my mums slightly tho
@@lavheejoycecallao1553 try the ordinarys alpha Arbutin I’ve been using it for two years and swear by it. And it’s very inexpensive. It may or may not work for you everyone’s skin is different, but it won’t hurt to try, it’s cheap.
Dr. Dray, in your other video you said the Alpha Arbutin did nothing and that it did not brighten your face at all. You said you did not see any difference. Why would you recommend it ? I’ve always loved your videos and trusted your recommendations.
I think it’s important to make a distinction when she’s talking about a product based on its ingredients/formulation/offerings VS her personal consumer experience. After all, the product aligns with her philosophy of choosing simple and affordable products and it has an ingredient w science behind it. It would make sense that she recommends it despite not working for her. She may not have the same skin conditions or issues as someone who will find this product effective. The science is there, so it could work for others, but it didn’t for her given her own specific skin conditions. I’m sure there have been times she would recommend something that worked for her and it would not work for others. Goes both ways. What I find important is she talks about the product straightforwardly given her expertise. But she can’t exactly predict if it’ll work for you or not.
Excellent review-I've not tried any of the Inkey List products-yet will now. Can all of these products be used while using Tretinoin 0.025%? I'd like to try a few products you mentioned yet do not want to cause any issues with my Tretinoin. Okay to combine?
I love the Inkey List Peptide moisturizer! It is quite understated but affordable and really delivers results. So far, I have finished my first jar of the moisturizer and am planning to get a second one.
Dr, which one of These 3 Serums would you Choose to fight adult acne and aging. Which one would be the Most effective in reference to their Ingredients? 1.La Roche Posay Effaclar Serum 2.Skinceuticals Blemish+Age Defense Serum 3.Dr.Dennis Gross Pore Refining Serum Thank you so so much
Hi Dr Dray, I'm presently using Retin-A for anti-aging, can I use the polyglutamic acid and hyaluronic acid under my sunscreen in the morning ? (considering all their benefits). Thank you fir all your videos &time
Hello. Can I use the lactic acid serum on the same nights as my Tretinoin? Or should I put it on in the morning before my sunscreen? Thanks for your videos!!!! Happy Friday 😁
I think the two together would be really irritating. If you have off nights with your Tret, use it then. I have this product, and it states it should only be used in the evening. Maybe a couple times a week. :)
I love most their stuff but tried Turmeric moisturiser and reacted to it 😣 I also found my skin tight after, so prob wouldn't be good for dry skin.. dunno if that's any help to you!
Can you point out the main differences between polyglutamic and polyhydroxy acids? Sounds like polyglutamic is all encompassing. Would love to see a video on these two chemicals! So glad to see you nearing 1M followers! Cheering you on girlie!!!
Thank you Andrea... Dr Dray... very informative on the Inky List, which I've not yet tried. So I've book marked Sephora Australia. Half their products are out of stock already !
Hi, I hope you can see one commend the alpha product you mentioned for hyperpigmentations, can mothers who are nursing new born babies use that? It’s mainly sunspots all over the face. Thank you 🙏
Thank you for such an informative video! I have 1 question: I am currently building my skin care routine from two brands: The Inkey List and The Ordinary. Would you recommend/ is it safe to use both the Salicylic Acid Cleanser (The Inkey List) WITH the Glycolic Acid 7% Toner (The Ordinary)? Would love to see a video where you combine/ compare these two brands because they both have very similar products. Thank you!!
I have a really loud TV and a quiet neighborhood I'm pretty sure they can hear Dr Dray's voice three doors down and no one has made a noise complaint yet so I believe I'm doing the community a favor by blasting her knowledge out loud
I have a concern with inkey list wrinkle product. The third ingredient for both product is butylene glycol which I heard can irritate your skin. What do you think of butylene glycol?
I have used many Inkey List products and I love that they are affordable and transparent; however, is there any concern that many of the “active” ingredients are listed after the preservative on the ingredient list. I see this on many of their products. Doesn’t this mean that the main ingredient of the product is at a dose that is 1% or less?
Can you use the The oat balm cleanser as my 1st cleanse and then cleanse with Cerave hydrating cleanser for my sensitive skin ? Do u think it would be safe ?
@@chaelisa2763 I'm guessing your referring to dr vanita rattan's recent video. Apparently, it's been disputed (but I'm not sure who or what did the disputing). Though she isn't the only one who advises caution for skins of color. I think possibly because folks might overuse. My understanding is that glycolic/AHA shouldn't be used more than 2-4 times a week. Some recommend an acid like mandelic which is more gentle or a polyhydroxy acid instead which will both take longer to work.
Can we combine the different serums, I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. It’s confusing to know which products to buy. Thank you for your video ❣️
