Our big questionnaire from last year asked you a ton of Mario Party questions and we're finally sharing the results in our Fan Vote series!
Our third episode focuses on picks for your most strategic items from the entire Mario Party series. Every person that voted got to pick three items each and the list is ranked by items with the most votes. Keep in mind items like the Mushroom and the Mushroom Orb count as the same item. More item focused Fan Vote episodes to come!

Sluggish Shroom definitely deserves the top slot. My favorite item in MP cause it lets you see all the board events.

The item can could make the turns in Story Mode actually a bit longer too.

I guess because it was only in one Mario Party game and very rare even in that one so not a lot of people remembered that one. But yeah I definitely would have put it there

Something you don't understand about the Plunder Chest is that players who already have a good item may be forced to use it early or get other junk items to reduce the chance of their opponent stealing it from them. And if other players already have junk items, they may still risk buying a good item because their opponent is still more likely to steal one of their junk items. It actually forces all players to strategize, which isn't boring at all. Honestly, I'm surprised it isn't placed higher on the list.

The Warp Block gets more useful the farther behind you are, in my experience.

I love the Chomp Call, Warp Block, and the Boo Bell, those three are my favorite items and I would own them. Great use of the music from different Mario Party games. Keep it up.

Would it be possible to do another survey with the same questions, and maybe a few more? I think that the opinions of the people might change, and having another one could show that.

Where can I send fan votes? I actually wanna help contribute to this series if you are still considering taking votes from fans for future videos. Plus you think you can do an extra video of you providing footage of what happens when you get the Bowser Suit on Bowser's Gnarly Party and actually running into Bowser on his board while using it? I always wanted to know what happens since the Bowser Suit is already incredibly rare to get as it is.

Sadly, as mentioned in the video, the results of the vote are from a questionnaire we did at the end of last year. I don' think I'll be able to do a video on just that event, maybe if I do a compilation of random rare events I can include it?

I'm acrually not that afraid of Plunder Chests, just maybe because I usually play by myself, and it's usually the other players that gets stolen, or for me I make sure I have multiple items or use them immediately.

The plunder chest in Mario Party 2 sucks, but in Mario Party 3, and Superstars, the plunder chest is amazing!

I don’t like the Dueling Gloves in the recent Mario Party games(Super Mario Party not included because I hadn’t played that one yet) because you don’t choose the amount of coins &/or a star. Note: For the Alley Dueling Glove the one who won the duel gets to choose a ally from the loser, but at least the Duel Balloon from Star Rush when popped activates a mini game for a ally from 1 of the 3 losers to the winner. I don’t mind the timing button or the ‘who can press the buttons faster’ but Screw the Get a Rope & the Dice Block gimmick duels, no offense.
