@KGTropicals please help me! I bought a goldfish the the bubbly eyes and he has been a happy swimming fish! Its been a month now, and his eyes are covered in clouded white? He also looks like he has a 3rd eye coming in?? WHAT DO I DO???
Anyone else here who's a total beginner but loves watching the advanced tips/type videos for something to strive to? And also cause John and Lisa are great :)
John, I was taking a drink of coffee when you said if you don’t like Oscars you can go F. Lmao 😂. Now I have to change my shirt and dry off the dog. 😂🤣 btw I do like Oscars.
I love how John and Lisa banter back-and-forth it adds comedy to the content. also I’m super happy to have stumbled upon peacock bass… I like them and I think I’ll have to get some.
I adore my blood parrots! I'll fight ya if you degrade them lmao. They are such a joy with my oscars and severums. Oh and have silver dollars with them too.
Arowana are awesome fish! My father used to own a Silver Arowana when he was younger. At least in his 20's. He never had any tankmates though. But he was always trying to jump out of the tank.
So funny you mention Creatures ‘n Critters. It’s that exact store that got me into the hobby 30+ years ago. We used to ride our bikes there after school and one day they were giving gold fish away. Of course we took some, went home and had no where to keep them. So back to the store we went with our mom to get fish bowls! And the rest as they say is history!
I have silver arowana with pbass and bichirs, it's a good combination, you can feed arowana first with cricket because i also have gecko that eat cricket, then feed pbass with little fish, the last give the bichirs sinking pelet they love it
I have a now 15” a silver Arowana sharing a tank with my Brichardis. Yes, they’re doing good together. The Arowana was a juvie when I got him, about 6-7”. I dropped them in the rank at the same time.
Thanks for the video John. I knew very little about these huge fish. I am more knowledgeable about them. Great video. By the way, I was not able to get onto tank talk live this pass Thursday. Was there tank talk or is it my I-pad?
I’ve got my Arowana paired with my Red Tail, may seem odd but the pair actually work, the catfish cleans the bottom of the tank and starts to roam at night while the Arowana stays on the top of the water and rests at night.
Are used to have a 400 gallon outside pond with heaters infiltration systems and I had silver arowana,, angelfish, lungfish and Gourami; And had no issues.
I just want to add to the common pleco, there are lots of other plcos that are bigger that would do super well too. Like the red fin and leopard cactus pleco
Can the following fishes live peacefully together in a 125 gallon tank? All fishes are 3”-5” 1 - Channa Pulchra 1 - Channa Asiatica 2 - Albino Silver Arowana 4 - Silver dollars
I love your content bro your on it with all the fish massive knowledge 😂 I think I love this channel because you love oscars man my first aggressive fish they got me into the hoddy I currently have 4 and in my experience with chiclids and aggressive fish it’s hit or miss and you have to have love for these animals to take a risk I have like 6 tanks usually just house them together and if they are overly aggressive just switch them my patriot is the most aggressive had to move him he tore up my jacks my pleco moved him with my oscars he picked on the one that was smaller than him so I moved her over and the patriot just got in line
