@@LuckyLukeTF2 The one thing I wish was in the video was Antoni's 4k with the Beggars but I don't think that was from an actual series. Either way the Soldier clips were insane
Legendary stuff. That double telefrag kill still blows my mind. Corsa's surfstab medic drop was insane, but Gona's stairstab uber-drop to a *SURF AERIAL (!!)* in a competitive match is just on a completely different level. Definitely should've gotten the top spot, but just choosing one is always gonna be tough.
I can't imagine going for the telefrag or that solo uber saw switch combo, like most of the other ones are good showcases of skill... but to have the idea, go for it and being able to execute is insane
Man, after spending so many years on the weird and goofy side of TF2 videos, actually seeing a competitive, well edited video like this just blew my mind away. This was really fun to watch and some of these clips were absolutely unbelievable to me, incredible amounts of skills people have.
This is a really good entry video for competitive TF2! I'd recommend the fragmovie "The Experiment" by subtitled, really captures the 2010's vibe of competitive TF2.
I've sort of moved on from TF2 in terms of playing it but I continue to be amazed at what people do in this game and I can't click these videos fast enough when they pop up in my feed. Thank you LuckyLuke and eXtine for keeping this series going and hope to see it continue as long as there's still epic plays going on. Now if you excuse me, I need to pick my jaw up off the floor.
It may not be as flashy as an airshot or reflect kill or a medic melee rampage, but watching a heavy mow down an entire enemy team will always be satisfying to me
Starting straight off with a clockwork clip is actually insane, that hit me directly in the nostalgia! That Froyo lineup might be the very first Froyo team I followed all those years ago!! Might’ve been a later line up though. B4nny, Shade, Clockwork, Ash, Blaze, and that Demo who’s name I can’t remember anymore Duwant or something like that…
i was silently watching and liking all your videos until now. but this video brought me a hell lot of memories from previous videos as well. thanks for all your efforts, keep’em coming :)
What an amazing choice to pick one play per class, and also to pick some of the most original and insane plays of the decade! Here's to ten more years, thank you so much for this series guys =)
What an edition, haven't played TF2 for years now but when that notification hits you know I'm watching immediately. Thanks for so many years of amazement Luke and everyone else imvolved
Excellent video as always Luc! However, I would argue against the Demoman clip. Impressive... definitely in the top 100 in the history of competitive TF2, but not a Top 10 of the decade IMO. Humbly speaking of course!
This was truly the best one yet. Love sending these to friends to get them into the game. Can't say enough thanks for doing these for the last 10+ years!
Thank you so much to Lucky Luke for keeping these alive for as long as you have. The game and all its players will forever be thankful for what you've done for us
I havent loaded up tf2 for a few years but this game will always have a place in my heart. This video is awesome. Got me pretty hyped up watching. Love this game and community so much.
I remember watching some of these in the original monthly videos, it's really something to see them again in something this big. These videos are always so great.
damn some of those honorable mentions were more impressive than the plays but i get it, those clips are just right reaction at the right moment kind of plays whereas the others were mostly team oriented in some way fuck i miss tf2, shoutout 90lg
The team play is still my favorite ever! I thought the original commentary was fine and I liked the intense music in the og video! (still have it saved, "CommFT's Top10 plays of TF2 - June 2011")
Its really been a decade+ already.... man I need this game to go back to glory days. But thanks for bringing us on a trip through those said days here.
holy... I had no idea this series was still running. I made the intro/outro graphics for the very first few episodes of this (that are in this video for a few seconds!! woo!) for Community Fortress back when I was still in high school, and I'm in my 30s now. Amazing job team, here's to TF2 and a godly comp scene.
So many good memories. I wish the solid org of ETF2L, the MoGs/GoMs and play of the months existed for overwatch but I always look back to my TF2 days fondly. LuckyLuke, eXtine and the rest of the team (past and present) that contributed to all these amazing clips and edits, I thank you for these memorable clips.
This is amazing, but I swear for some of these I know that there were better clips we could have used. All around great video though. Been here since the beginning.
Man it's been ~10 years since I first started playing TF2, and I've gone from finishing middle school to getting my uni degree and working full time. The nostalgia hits in this one video are insane.
I've been trying to find the clip at 10:41 for so long now. I couldn't remember when it happened but it was so hype to see back then and just as incredible now.
