@@sbostic08 don't demonise sugar and salt, your body needs both. instead, demonise products which overload your body with them, because that's where the damage is. cereals, fast food, soft drinks and processed food are the enemy. note that cereals will often promote being high in protein/fibre to infer that it's healthy, when it isn't. oats are easily one of the best alternatives to cereal, and you can add fruit, nuts and natural yoghurt to spruce it up if you like.

Well what about home grown potatoes baked or cooked in a skillet? Is that good too? I like potatoes, just don't like many vegetables or fruits at all, the taste is terrible, and so on. It's hard to really find a good plan I can try to stay on and enjoy.

Last December, I received a wake-up call during a doctor's appointment when I stepped on a scale and realized that I was at my absolute heaviest weight in my life (330 lbs). Since then, I switched from soda and energy drinks to sparkling water and black coffee. I also started lifting weights and doing cardio again (30 minutes each per day, 4 days a week). 80 lbs down, another 50 to go. I want my abs back!

@@pwfp_1437 It took me eight months, as I made my dietary changes the day after my December doctor'sappointment. I could have lost much more since then; but I relapsed on my routine a couple of times. In my opinion, staying consistent and tracking your calories are the most important aspects of weight loss. Seeing just how much I was overeating when I first started using MyFitnessPal was incredibly humbling.

@@pwfp_1437 Thanks! Best of luck to you as well. If you haven't done so already, I strongly recommend making a MyFitnessPal account. I also set my lifestyle to "sedentary" (partially true since I spend 8+ hours a day in a chair staring at a screen), and don't track your workouts. It'll help you lose weight faster.

Hey man i been waking up at 6:05am and following the 10 minute morning workout video, its great! Yeah the body wants to be lazy but once you get the ball rolling its easy push the laziness aside and just push yourself. Super beginner here just on my third week now of being up at 6:05am, 6:30am the latest for the morning workout and morning walk before my day starts. Also recently started intermittent fasting, ending my eating window in about an hour from now. Just gotta stay consistent, havent missed a day of being up and working out. No compromise. Thanks for putting that video together, im helping the view count go up :).

Bully, you're an inspiration and invaluable resource. You're channel motivated me to change my buying habits surrounding foods and I've since made massive strides towards my fitness goals. I'm a former BJJ competitor who injured my back and went from a cut 6 foot 2 inch235 to 340 in under a year. Now, in just two months, I'm nearly half way back (currently 292). I'm rolling regularly again and feeling like I'm on the right grind to get where I'm going. Thanks for snapping me out of it and giving me the confidence to get after it again.

I gained 80 lbs eating pasta, play cereal, pizza, french fries, and snickers. I have lost 70 lbs eating pizza or pasta maybe once a every few months and small amount. I have replaced all that with oatmeal, eggs, and certain fruits.

@LONE WULF IN THE CUT nothing wrong with eating fats, so long as they are good fats. nuts, avocado, extra virgin olive oil and fish(salmon) are some really good examples of high fat foods that are rich in nutrients. enter regular exercise to burn them off, and you're heading in the right direction ;)

Hi Bully, I’m a 51 yrs old single mom on disability but doing my best to help my son go to college. Like I said I’m on disability due to been diagnosed with rheumatoid and osteoarthritis 12yrs ago needless to say I gain weight because I’m not that active anymore and because some of my prescriptions have steroids. I’m taking a new prescription and it’s helping a lot which is helping me be a little more active and with not too much pain, today I came across some of your videos and I love the fact that you’re straight up and don’t sugar coat anything, you say it like it is. I saw the video about the smoothie to loose weight which I’m going to try but I was wondering if you have any suggestions about exercising but taking in consideration my arthritis since I can’t jump or pick up nothing heavier than 25lbs, I will really appreciate it if you can help me out because I really need to loose weight I’m only 5’4” and yesterday when I went to the Doctor I weighed 230lbs and I just started crying cause I have never been this big 😢 help me out please!!!!!

Carmen Rod. Probably better you talk to your doctor about a program you can get into. That's the best way you can get rid of your pounds. Plus there are a lot of videos of low impact exercises. I'm sure there's something on here for you. I looked up low impact exercises for people with disabilities on youtube and there are a range of videos you can choose from. But talk to your doctor before you start anything.

The protests and looting in the US, tensions with China, Hong Kong basically being taken over by China, the fires in Australia, the people killed by a volcano on an island near New Zealand, a war almost started with Iran, one of the biggest explosions in history in Beirut, almost a global recession due to the coronavirus. This year was not a good year, no matter what way you put it.

I'm glad added sugar was mentioned but I feel like juice deserves it's own spot for discussion. A lot of juice is loaded with added sugar on top of the fruit sugar. However, it is often considered by most as healthy even if ultra-processed. I have a friend who was told by the doctor that he's pre-diabetic. He doesn't like bread. He doesn't like cream or cheese. I was puzzled until I realized he drinks tons of juice. He drinks it like water. I addressed this with him and he balked at the mention of simply reducing the volume he consumes. It's a life long staple for him.

Type 1 is whiteblood cells eating the beta cells of the pancreas and type 2 is ur islets(carbon centers) have burned out due to overproduction of insulin(may cause cells to reject insulin). Stop all meat & processed foods until u get well. Vanadium destroys diabetes. Look that up & don't listen to these nazi scientists(doctors)because if u heal yourself, their not going to like it. The body can heal itself but u must give gods temple the foods that god made. U come from the dirt so eat what grows out of the dirt, just that simple bro.

bbrucet3 i have 8 family members who have diabetes, including my daughter.But they r allergic to information that doesnt come from massa. I have to watch my daughter die because nazi scientists(doctors) have colonized their minds. And i know how to destroy diseases. Bad eye sight(sugar sitting in the blood ripping water & minerals out the eyes) high blood pressure & arthritis are all diabetes. Blackfolks too busy eating european food (spaghetti,candy,soda,pizza,hamburgers,chicken,pigs,fish,etc...) & living european lifestyles (drinking,smoking,taking pills,wearing weaves,worshipping pagan holidays,praying to jesus,living in cold weather, etc...).

im pretty much in the same position, i work at fast food and always eat the fries lol update: i had to get bands for my braces, so now when i want to eat i have to take them out and replace them, so i dont snack on the fries cuz its too much work lol! and during my dinner breaks i just bring a healthy option from home

Occasionally is okay.Believe me is not that hard. I am 14 and have been off the soda since like 12. You can get use to it. Also it makes water taste more refreshing, and since u get unaccustomed to all that sugars stuff like fruit juices and vitamin water taste good again.

@@views-ov2fx Thing is, I eat some of these things (SOME), and exercise 6 to 7 days a week. Muscle/strength/ednurance/motion, and I'm in the best shape of my life. What no one ever mentions is moderation. This life is meant to be enjoyed. Just don't overdo it. It isn't complex. Metabolism and other factors are also big. And you're the wrong one. You have no clue what the person you're replying to looks like or feels about themselves.
