@@tempestates13 have you even traveled down Symmes road in the last couple of years? I'd say starting around 3:30 in the afternoon going on until about 7:00 in the evening it's absolutely horrible. I get what you're saying about Big Bend though. I think that has a lot to do with idiots who know they are going to be getting on the interstate, but do not stay in the proper lane and decide to change at the last second. 🤣
I was born and raised in Tampa if u stay out of trouble then u will enjoy Tampa if u come looking for u will get it. Good n bad is in every city and state thats life.
I’ve been in Tampa for 21 years and been a bus driver here for 8 years.. Sulphur springs definitely has more respect and “street credit” that you give it here. Armenia is considered safe aside from waters and Armenia and that’s only because they have a plasma selling center there. Cross fletcher is commonly referred to as “suitcase city”
I love that you call out the realitors that lie when they make videos trying to fool people into moving to Tampa just so they can make a commission. Personally I don’t mind any of the neighborhoods in Tampa. Coming from Chicago I always pay attention to my surroundings and I think the people of Tampa are cool to be around
LoL coming from Chicago obviously you're used to these neighborhoods and when you hear guns popping off all the time it's nothing new to you right? It's nothing new to me I'm a Florida native over here in Pinellas county I hope he's done a video on that... The way a lot of us Floridians are is we don't care where you come from as long as you show us respect you'll get respect and US oldschool people who are in our forties we always like to banging out with our fists it's the proper way to do it ya know and most of the times will be all banged up with some blood on each other and want to sit down and drink a bottle together afterwards. LoL that's southern hospitality
I have lived in Tampa all my life, 61 years I've watched it go from a small town to a metropolitan city. Some of these neighborhoods I will agree But take a ride with somebody that knows these neighborhoods knows them well Before you put something like this on here. I could have taken you through neighborhoods 10 times worse than what you showed on your little video. When you are real good to her Tampa just give me a holler I will show The good the bad and the ugly.
I grew up in St. Petersburg and lived in Tampa for 13 years. I used to live in some of these neighborhoods, Sulphur Springs, Cross Fletcher, University... and worked in East Tampa and attended classes at HCC in Ybor City. Let's face it, half of Tampa is a ghetto. Great video. I used to work at the crisis center and helped a lot of the homeless and mentally ill. Tampa is a tough city, but I agree with most of the people commenting. If you show respect, mind your own business and don't go looking for trouble you probably won't find it. Tampa is very diverse, most of the residents are very cool and friendly, unless they are shooting at you or trying to run you over.
If you live in Tampa, you definitely know about Sulphur Springs. Parts of Ybor and the Heights (not by Robles Park yet) have already significantly cleaned up and are showing signs of major growth, but the springs hasn’t taken much of a turn at all. It’s a bad area you wouldn’t want to catch yourself in after dusk alone
Visited Tampa for the 1st time last year. Thought I was in a nice area, staying by USF, which is bordered by Fletcher Ave. But just going a few blocks west near Copeland Park, you start to see the poverty & decline. Then going south past Busch Gardens you see poverty. I was like damn, I’m surrounded by the hood. Still a nice city tho
I was born in Tampa and still here. I agree with most of these but a couple of neighborhoods you rated as 10, 9, 8 should be top 5 worse. I would also add Nuccio and the area near 50th street.
@@Volkswagenplanet that's the worst God damn thing too is they give out all these government loans to foreigners and they buy up apartment complexes and houses and turn them all into section 8 so they don't have to worry about getting rent late they've done that to almost every apartment complex and condos throughout all of Pinellas county really nice apartment complexes that I lived in me walking outside cops pulling guns on me I'm asking what the hell's going on they said we got the call shots fired. WTF LOL
The only thing I would say is that everyone would agree that Sulphur Springs should be higher on this list. And Armenia is generally safe even though it's run down.
Although Tampa has it's bad areas, it never feels like there is a desperate situation your walking into. The locals in any hood are pretty much not messing with you unless your looking for trouble. Even in jail the problems are kept at a minimum
@@theworldpodcast1801 I've lived here my entire life in different areas that include the most crime ridden areas. You rarely if ever hear about any gang shootings and even in jail people don't take hoods seriously. Yes you may run into some trouble but you literally have to look for it or place yourself in bad situations as far as any violence goes. Now getting your car stolen or homes being broken into is another story and a bit more common. Our murder rate rate is actually very low and nothing compared to other major city
@@theworldpodcast1801 also, there's no racial tension between blacks and Latinos like there is in cities like los Angeles or Chicago. It used to be bad in college hill old projects back in the 90s before they tore them down and built newer ones in a kind of gentrification like rebuilding although they are still low income homes that were built. Even in ybor city throughout most clubs are generally safe with the occasional fight breaking out that include mostly drunk or intoxicated people. Only in Mexican based clubs do you really see any tension between different hoods and cities because Mexican and Chicano gangs have historically been territorial and many of these gangbangers run into each other in nightclubs and or events like quinceñeras and they really mostly come from outside the city limits.
@@xbrowsingvidzx2998 oh yea so your telling me if I were to stop at any respective neighborhood store for gas I have be cautious of a possibile armed robbery or assault? No kid so is not the case. Yes if your out in the middle of the night trying to cop some dope well here just like any city or town you have to be careful. But to say that if my car breaks down in some rough part of town that I'm at a high or medium risk of being hurt is not the reality for the most part. Now if you left your car in the streets in a bad area then you may be a victim of car theft or having it broken into and even then only after a car has been left for a significant amount of time. Bro Tampa is a good city this isn't no rap song here
I'm from Tampa, raised in Cross Fletcher neighborhood and been in every neighborhood here from South Tampa, North Tampa, Nuccio, Grant park and etc. You name them I been in the area and still go in them. I learn a lot do and don't no matter the neighborhoods if you go in just show respect or it will be a bad experience for you. Anyone from the 813 area will say the same thing young or old.
Your review was pretty spot on. I’ve been a cop in Tampa for 35 years and we do have some bad areas. Some of these places are getting better but we have a long way to go. There are a lot of other places worse off trust me. Get involved in your town and be the change. If you see something say something. Improve your little world where you live . Life is precious. We all need to love one another as neighbors and family. Great video . Being aware of your town can bring positive change. I love Tampa but we can improve. Have a safe day and be the change in your community. ❤️👍👍

@@kennethallen809 is law enforcement no bueno or are you no bueno? I imagine anyone that advocates for burning and looting a gas station because you THINK he’s racist is probably why cops don’t respect you or who you hang out with. Be better first.
Pretty accurate list, although I would put Fletcher higher on the list. Fletcher and University got really, really bad a few years ago when St. Pete outlawed pan-handling and all of the beggers crossed the bridge and posted-up all along Nebraska Ave. Speaking of Nebraska Ave., I once walked past a dead guy on Nebraska by a bus stop just south of 109th -- in broad-daylight.
That's funny because I actually witnessed a double murder at the 7-11 on 109th & Nebraska in broad daylight two spice heads stabbing each other. Learned from a local cop I know one died on the scene the other died at the Hospital. So it was a win win for Tampa two spice heads gone that is great population control.
Yeah that's how you know guy prob not from here. Armenia is just a street that run from south Tampa through West Tampa and merges into another street in North Tampa (long stretch of a street). West Tampa is full of Latinos now and gotten expensive.
I lived in Tampa for about 50 years off North Blvd and Seminole Heights area, Used to have a Prince grocery on Columbus Drive and a Huttos corner I think on Osborne walked to school to Hillsborough High School, when I was young before I had a car walked everywhere. I think times have changed now as I am over 70 years old...
I've been in Tampa for about 3 years now. I've been doing Uber eats since and have accumulated about 800 orders. So I've been in virtaully every neighborhood in Tampa. I can say without a doubt that the surrounding USF area (university) is by far the sketchiest.
@Maria Cyza surrounding would be Tampa Bay, area. Don't you think? Not a completely different county when you are trying to highlight different areas of " TAMPA".. then do different surrounding areas.. there's plenty of shitty places in Tampa that you can stay with in the city limits and not have to leave the county because your out of idea's. Just saying.... there's plenty of that he could have otherwise. I've lived and grown up in Tampa my entire life of 48 years.
What everyone overlooks is that the hot weather just increases the anger and attitude of struggling people that live paycheck to paycheck and commonly pushes them over the edge and causes crazy habits to constantly happen.
People also place to much of their paycheck into the cars that they try to keep running and whatever they are smoking wether it is weed or cigarettes which also keeps them poor and just flat out in a death cycle ! Tampa firmly agrees with staying as high as you can and they just respond with"0 well, whatever",alot of them are brainwashed and the majority of them work in the retail business.Alot of them never worked 12 hour days, and 84 hours a week in a factory or know what it is like to live without a cell phone!
Great video! Awesome information. Keep in mind that gentrification has made its way into some of these questionable areas changing the landscape. Maybe you can do a video in Tampa on low-income zip codes that are experiencing gentrification and how we anticipate this affecting those who can't afford a tax increase. Thanks again, love your channel, sharing it with friends and family.
Man I lived in every district from Sulphur springs, cross fletcher, Armenia, South Tampa, New Tampa, East Tampa. I never had a problem anywhere. I love Tampa ❤️ Bay
I would be very interested in seeing you talk about the suburbs east of Tampa, valrico, plant city, seffner, Brandon, Bloomingdale, Riverview, fishhawk, lithia etc.
Just discovered this channel, great video! I moved from Maine to Tampa about 13 years ago and know many of these. Would love to see a mini map that outlines the neighborhood in the corner or something but great to see live street video!
Born and raised in Tampa. This list is SPOT on, however I didn't even think about Sulfur Springs. Totally forgot that place. Just goes to show you, there's always something to learn about home.
I grew up in sulphur springs! It is in Fact a bad neighborhood. I actually called for succession of the part of the neighborhood south of Busch Blvd, East of Florida Ave, North of Hillsborough River, and (WEST OF NEBRASKA), because the area (where i grew up) is being brought down by all the disaster the rest of the neighborhood has. It is plagued with crime ever since i moved in! We always talked about the “other side of Nebraska” it’s that bad!
I lived in Tampa Bay for 5 years and loved it! I actually felt much safer there than in PA. I sold final expense life insurance and 90% of my clients made under 20K/year. Yes, they were poor but I NEVER felt unsafe in Tampa and only felt unsafe twice in all of Florida. Once in St Pete just north of Tropicana Field and once in Tallahassee. Not sure if PA just sucks but the people in Florida were so much more gentle/kind/respectful than up north. Wish I still lived there!!!
I used to do private Secruity on Fletcher, I’ve had dirty needles thrown at me, guns pulled, multiple physical altercations, seeing drug deals everyday and more
Born and Raised in Tampa, as a single white female, the only place I have been that I didn't feel comfortable was Robles Park. Stopped there to check out the river for fishing, Chatted with some older guys not catching much but they kinda said it's not safe for me there and I respected their opinion. Ybor use to be a lot scarier. It's pretty nice now. University area has gone to complete garbage. (still have some great ethnic food!) I'm seeing more homeless creeping into Forest Hills/Carrollwood. We are even having issues with squatters in some of the empty homes. And the house Flippers make it hard for the average working family to buy a nice house without the prices being jacked out of sight! I enjoyed your list.
Lifelong Tampanian here and I can tell you where you live in Tampa by the zip code... Tampa has long been a working-class city. Fun fact - During the 1940s-1960s, the city "used" to be controlled by notorious mobsters, and corruption used to be rampant. However, as any other longtime resident can attest, gentrification, accelerated by the pandemic, has drastically changed the city's character. Living comfortably and/or completely crime-free within the city limits itself is becoming more expensive with more middle-class people, particularly white residents, having to move to far-out Hillsborough suburbs (i.e., Wesley Chapel, Citrus Park, Brandon) who can't afford to live in South Tampa or Carrollwood.
Love the comment about how far Florida has come. I'm very pleased with the diversity in the Tampa area...Especially how friendly all people are to each other!
As a Tampa native I fuckin died when you said " diverse landscape " as the video pans over a buncha beat up old trailers 😂😂 good video though , subscribed 🤘. As far as the worst neighborhoods, I couldn't even tell ya man, depending on the day...
I'm a native and you nailed it. I got sober at a halfway house in Sulfur Springs, as much that it is dangerous, I was given a safe place to get my junk together. There is hope for some of these places. You shared in good taste. Thank you for the respect.
Overall I think you are spot on and wish young people just getting their license in these areas would watch or view these types of videos rather than get caught out of bounds taking a wrong turn off a highway especially late at night. I used to drive for Uber and I would have to go to some of these areas to pick up and drop off and most I would avoid. Sometimes your would be surprised like there are air bnb right off 7th avenue ybor a family would rent staying a couple days before getting on a cruise, If you wanted to make a new video and exploring Tampa Bay and surrounding areas I would say South St pete is notorious and a surprising rural hood is Sefner with high drug traffic.
Wow! I was born in Dallas and raised in Tampa,Florida. I lived in Seffner as a pre-teen. Of course that was many years ago…. It wasn’t nothing what you just said. It was country-like….My how time flies and things have really changed!!!
I grew up around north Brandon, Seffner area most my life....it's always been run down and a little shady in certain sections, but... last time I was there (5 years ago) I was at Winn Dixie wit my pops off MLK after dark and I turned and asked him "u strapped?" God bless my pops he was like "duh" lol I miss him... I lost him this year, but yeah i never had 2 ask him that before, but that night I could just feel it in the air.... lots of goons outside and inside the store
Great content. I've lived in and around Tampa for 17 years. I love it. Beautiful scenery and history in all of these neighborhoods. Moonlake though, IMO, not a Tampa neighborhood. It's almost an hour outside of the city in another county. Loved the tour though, thank you.
I expected you to mention Street Names with Major Intersections. Otherwise, it can be confusing when you only mention Neighborhoods. I travel on the Neighborhoods along Nebraska pretty much every day and I haven't had any issues. I certainly wouldn't want to live in a lot of those Areas. Temple Terrace has some areas that I wouldn't want to live in either.
@@Volkswagenplanet as a young first time home buyer, I love the area and I think temple Terrace really is a beautiful part of the greater Tampa area. I lived in Da Springs for 6 years right off of waters on Alaska st - had to prove myself the 1st yr I lived there - had @ least 1 fist fight every other week , after that I got nothing but respect - still go over there to say hello to the people I know 💯 ohh and cross Fletcher should have been #2 unless #10 is the worst - when I first moved to Tampa I live on 131st & 15th

I'm in tampa heights. Born and raised. There's a lot of gentrification going on in seminole heights with the old architecture and I love seeing people post online talking about "anyone else hear shots near x street and y street". And I'm like "yeah, you bought a house in the hood because your realtor said it was a great neighborhood with historical significance". I've seen so many people(white rich) move away only a year after moving in. I love the video, I wish I could show it to all the people moving here. I've seen other videos and stopped watching. I waited to see if you was going to talk about tampa heights and robles. There are a few more places but you definitely hit the bad ones and the ones that people from here know about.👌
The truth is if you live within 1 mile of a Family Dollar store, you in da hood. I moved to Tampa and have chosen to stay for 30+ years. And I had 5 FD stores within 2 miles in Temple Crest. Now I live in New Tampa. Love my Bucs! Good video.
I know I dont live in tampa but I work there on the bridges during the day and at night doing anything from fixing potholes to cleaning homeless debris and it's always a sad thing to see. No doubt tampa has a homeless problem. And not every person that's homeless are bad if you talk to them. Some of the people I've talked to lost their home because of covid. Things that could happen to anybody. Alot of times drugs or alcohol could be a factor but not every time from what I've learned while working here
Was really upset about the looting and burning down businesses, it was a very gloomy week when that happened 😒I had to ride pass the gas station where a man lost his life.ITs always another way to be heard💔
A riot is the language of the unheard, said Dr. King. A way to think of the businesses destroyed in these things is that they are not owned by locals, but by transnational corporations who limit the extent of their investment to merely what's necessary to siphon as much wealth as possible out of the communities they come to roost on, whether that's in the labor of the locals they underpay for, or in the overpriced goods they sell, extracting the meager wealth of their customers as well as their labor. Occasionally you hear of someone poor and local who had a business whose place of business was destroyed, but what you invariably find is that they didn't own that structure, they were having the wealth they produced with their labor extracted by a landlord, who likely was having a lot of their take extracted by a Wall Street mortgage company. As one woman in Minneapolis said when she was asked why her neighbors were destroying their own businesses, she said "we don't own none of this!"
40 years ago I worked in construction in Miami and Homestead with a crew of Cubans. I'm of Italian heritage and never felt more accepted, like family. Probably the best experience I ever had in Florida and the food was the best. Great choice of music at the end of your video "Chan Chan".
I was born and still live in Tampa, and I agree with must of the neighbors picked. At the top would definitely be Robles Park. If I will go at night I don't consider it to be that bad, and Robles Park is a place I would not go to at night. I can also see how north of Fletcher area has changed. I lived in the area over 30 years ago, and it has definitely gotten very bad. Suitcase city is a suitable name for the area.
This list is pretty accurate. I lived in a few of these places and my house is in East Tampa. What I will say is that Cross Fletcher and University (Suitcase City) are basically side by side. I lived in Cross Fletcher for a good amount of years before my brief move to the suburbs. A lot of crackheads, a lot of poverty and a lot of gunshots in the night. If you swapped Cross Fletcher and Armenia, I think the list would be more accurate. Armenia ave has some of the best food in Tampa, if you are looking for some fire Colombian, Cuban or Puerto Rican food. Ybor has gotten has gotten a lot better over the years (thank goodness). The city has made great efforts to gentrify it by preserving the historic neighborhoods, building a good amount of new build homes, apartments etc.
The reason many people come to Tampa and say it's not bad or that's there's no ghetto is many people come from major cities like NY. To compare the Bronx to Tampa ghettos is like comparing a doberman to an angry Chihuahua. So yeah there are "bad hoods" in Tampa. But "bad" is a matter of perception. And someone coming from NY, Chicago, Philly, LA isn't going to consider any of these places "ghettos". Basically any "ghetto" here is the regular city for them .
THIS is the comment I was looking for. Spot on. From Jamaica Queens, NY, and living in the "ghetto" area of Temple Terrace/University area for the past 5 years now has honestly been peaceful, pleasant, and regular for me. Compared to back home in my dirty-ass old city.
@@erikrodriguez3829 Exactly. & I think thats the equalizer here as to why ppl do not get as bothered as much as someone would, versus living the boroughs & areas within where we are from 👏🏾. It's a different kinda freedom having it on you down here though.
I can understand rough neighborhoods. What bends me about the greater Tampa area is the selfish rude people that live in the nice areas. I use to live in Lake Mary and Sanford. Those towns have issues but the wealthy rarely was ever rude to me. Here in Apollo beach. It is me first and the gimmie's all over. The only good things are the skate park and MUV. There rest I could do without. I plan to move to the desert when my wife retires. Her career is based here. I retired and sold my truck when I was 41. Good video I think you were fair and accurate.
I'm from Atlanta but lived in Tampa and delivered for Amazon all around the city for 2 years, many times in sulphur springs/Nebraska Ave. Tampa is not dangerous at all, if you can drive through any neighborhood in Tampa without having to run stop signs or red lights then it's not that bad. There is a lot of homeless here though I will say that.
Oh yeah, it definitely has some no-go zones but so does every big city and really almost every city. Tampa is actually one of the safer cities in America especially compared to the other cities with almost a half a million people
I've lived in Tampa over 40 years. You hit most of the bad areas. Seminole Heights, although historical, scares me, as does Town and Country. They're are great areas too, like Carrollwood, Oldsmar and West Chase.
I lived in Tampa, FL for 2 years from 2019 to 2021 and could not get out fast enough. Crime is high, people do not know how to drive, and people are rude to you if you are not a Floridian.
Moon Lake is New Port Richey, Pasco County. It's at least 30 miles north of Tampa City limits. Otherwise, agree with your list. (30+ years Tampa resident)
This is the most legit video I've seen on someone covering Tampa. Other videos show Tampa and only the best parts not showing real struggles people go through and what we see daily. This was really good💛
i don't think that realtors necessarily lie to you in their videos just because they don't show you the hood. yes, they obviously want people to move down here so they're obviously going to show you the nice and presentable neighborhoods. thats like trying to call out an LA realtor for not showing you the streets of compton, or an NYC realtor not showing the hoods in the Bronx. doesn't make sense right? with any city, it has its bad areas, of course, but thats pretty inferable at this point guys. stop acting like the realtors are the bad guys.
I worked for Orkin back in the day, and we tented all the projects, but yeah, the Hill was the worst of all. We worked there for sunup, till hours after sundown. It did get worse at night, But man, truth is, there was never a good time of day to go there, don't take 22nd for anything. It has changed tho, but I never hung around long enough, all I saw was the building look nice now, as I was speeding through!
I used to live in Tampa Heights and that place is crazy haunted and then moved on to Fletcher and 22nd Avenue and the killings here are crazy. They kill, rob and do home invasions here so much that it doesn't even come out in the news because it's nothing new. Just another normal day but I love my city.

Having lived 31 of my 44 yrs in the Busch Gardens/USF (3 blocks from burned down Champs) I confirm everything in this video 100%. Gotta keep your wits about ya ❤ #myFL
I live in Tampa, used to live right next to USF/University. I have to agree with this list. Ybor, like you have mentioned is a fun place to go, but you have to be careful
I’m currently searching for a place to stay in Tampa. I visit a lot but need help on finding the right areas that are safe but still affordable. Anyone in the comments can help?
So some places are South Tampa which sometimes you can find a lower rent and is close to downtown and Westshore areas. In the suburbs Westchase is quiet and nice with some affordable rentals and not too out of the way, Clearwater and Oldsmar are also good areas a little further out - but watch being close to downtown clearwater. Brandon area is newer builds and decent too but be warned traffic going across town is awful!!! Really it depends on your commute or what you want to be near
South Tampa (below Kennedy), downtown Tampa, Bayshore, The Village/Carrollwood, Westchase, Westshore, Beach Park, Hyde Park, Citrus Park are all places that you can stay
Try the Riverview area. Still some very affordable housing in that area pretty clean for the most part close to the highways and it's up and coming and growing, close to Brandon too. Also Valrico and Seffner which are on the other side of Brandon are good areas too. All of these are South and Southeast of Tampa still in Hillsborough county. 😊👍
If you just mind yo business and stay out the way you’ll be safe in Tampa hoods and u just gotta know people whenever I’m in the hood they show me love
#1 Tampa Heights (Robles Park) #2 Ybor City #3 University #4 Sulphur Springs #5 Moon Lake #6 East Tampa #7 Armenia #8 West Tampa #9 North Tampa #10 Cross Fletcher Not to take away a view because the video creator brought up ALOT of good points in the video but if you're looking to buy a house in Tampa and wanted a quick reference there you go. But definitely worth the watch. His section on the Heights and Robles Park is incredibly interesting something I had never known. I won't spoil it but like I said worth the watch for sure.
The only thing bad about Tampa is how much rent and housing prices have gone up. Bob Buckhorn tore down all of the ghettos and sent them up into North Tampa which already had enough problems in certain areas so he could build armature works and all those other things. One thing that is really surprising about anywhere you go in Tampa is that how stacked neighborhoods are. You literally have one beautiful neighborhood and you can drive a mile and you are in the hood. Weird right?
Don't think I appreciate any of the neighborhoods of my city being described as high in crime. Crime in the United States is at historical lows, and Tampa is no exception. While homicide in the US ticked up marginally during the pandemic, it's on its way back down now, and it was nowhere near its 1990 crime wave peak. Other kinds of violent crime stayed the same or declined. The only class of crime that is really experiencing a boom is wage theft, when employers steal from employees. That kind of theft is larger than all other kinds of theft combined. It certainly is true we've got beggars and serious poverty. One way of looking at that is remembering that half of the populations of Tampa and St. Pete left between 1970 and 1980, almost all of them wealthier folks who couldn't tolerate the idea of having their kids bused to black schools. They took all their wealth with them to the suburbs and exurbs, wealth made as much by the labor of the poor people they left behind as by themselves, leaving the cities to wither. It reminds me of something the mayor of Detroit said some years ago. "Detroit was once the second wealthiest city in the world," he said, "but that wealth is all still here. It's in the counties ringing Detroit." And it's really infuriating to hear that homelessness is the kind of problem that cops can clean up, or that they are a serious source of crime that you should be afraid of. Social housing is what can clean that up. Driving the homeless into the woods or into jail is just a crime.
Bad areas. North Tampa, south Tampa, west Tampa and finally east Tampa. Ha..I vacation in treasure island and think the area is pretty ghetto in general. Great beaches though. Still a step up from ft Myers’s though
Hey my brother I got to give you credit your statistics are right on the money I have hung in all those neighborhoods that you mentioned the only one I really stay away from is the university area but all those neighborhoods that you know I'm very familiar with them and the reason is I always used to go there to buy my weed and Robles Park yes at one time it was number one but guess what you forgot to mention college Hill which is located on 22nd avenue I have worked there and I have friends that live there and I think that that right now is the most hottest area ever but all the statistics that you said and each neighborhood that you numbered was precise
I’m a realtor and we have to abide by fair housing laws. It kind of sucks because we have clients who ask about certain areas, but we can’t tell them the “truth” because we could get fined or lose our license. Instead we tell them to call the police for crime stats. That is how things like redlining started.
you dont have to show a house.... do a showing at 9:30 pm on a friday night. listen to police radio while in the car with your client LOL - i mean get creative LOL. you also dont have to show a house and not give .. i've said too much. sorry ..
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS yep, that's my big beef with rioters. Your grievance is with the police, and the government you do not send a message to them by burning down your community and destroying lives of your fellow community members. Certain unoccupied buildings and vehicles should be targeted in that case. I have no issue if they target those specific buildings and vehicles. 😁
Hey, compared to liberal paradises like Portland, San Francisco, L.A., Seattle, Chicago, Baltimore, NYC, and Minneapolis, Tampa is a very safe place to live. And remember, while carrying a gun and defending yourself is a crime in those liberal paradises, in Florida, it's your right. Stand your ground and defend yourself & your family.
You managed to pack a lot of ignorance into as few words as possible. You are more likely to kill your family than a "criminal" whatever that means and whomever those people are. Let's quit creating fictional bad guys to satisfy your bloodlust and desire to kill someone.
I’ve lived in Tampa Bay Area for 3.5 years and have only known a few of these hoods. Port Richey is a pretty tough spot too. The mayor had a shootout with the SWAT team!
Bro 😂 I can tell you’re not actually from Tampa. Just because a neighbor looks run down does not qualify it as a “ drug and crime ridden hood”. You should be ashamed of yourself. Ybor city actually is dangerous at nighttime. Robles Park and Sulphur Springs area are pretty bad as well at nighttime. West Tampa has pockets of drug crimes. But the other neighborhoods are not bad just run down. And the reason we have so many homeless and panhandlers is because our surrounding counties have banned them and made it illegal so they’ve all trickled into Tampa. If you’re going to report something like this make sure you’re actually from the area and know your facts. Low income communities are not always crime and drug ridden. Hillsborough county is nothing compared to Pinellas County. Now that’s hood!
Been in Tampa my whole life, most of these neighborhoods absolutely are riddled with crime, and drugs. Also I'm going to go out on limb and say that Moon lake is probably supplying Tampa with a lot of meth. 🤣
I remember when SOG used to be 10 shades of awful. Now it's about as safe as it gets. Did a lot of Habitat for Humanity work in the Port Tampa near Picnic Island in the early 90's and it was depressing/bad.
i thought i would see hillsborough , grant park , sulphur springs , robles like places i js named but tampa is cool ta live in or wtv the case might be
