Dunban’s “you can eat bread without knowing how to make it,” makes a lot of sense that some fantasy and sci-fi writers (and DM’s) wanting huge original concept worlds tend to forget at times.
@@corrinflakes9659 a good writer could probably have something like the protag being a former politician or corporate executive with high levels of involvement in an economic system who left for one reason or another to pursue a completely spiritual life but that's probably not the average infodump mc
I was so scared, shitting and pissing my pants (might have even creamed a little), wondering "who is that man over there?!", it was only when Shulk gave me a reassuring pat on the shoulder and said "Thats Dunban over there!" that I felt at ease. Thank you Shulk, thank you.
Xenoblade fills me with so much nostalgia. What an emotional ride. I remember playing it on my Wii back in 2012. Had to pirate it because physical copies were rare. I bought it on Wii U and Switch when it was out on those systems.
I believe a while back, Rufus Jones did indeed post about how he was glad to have been in Xenoblade, and I gave my compliments. I think Jay Taylor also did? BUT I did get a Cameo from Peter Bramhill, Egil, as he plays one of your main party in Final Fantasy XIV from the Heavensward expansion onwards, and he speaks fondly of his time acting for Xenoblade, and vividly remembers the word 'Mechonis'.
My Personal Favorite Is The Last Exchange Between Egil And Zanza. "Don't You Ever Give Up?" "Never, But Hear This, Zanza. They Will Judge Me Not In Life, But Death!"
That is a pretty heat line (a little cheesy for my taste though, then again this whole series is pretty cheesy, but it’s anime so it’s kinda given that it will be)
tbh "Reyn what are you doing?!" then it switches to reyn holding the monado is a cursed image I'd rather see reyn be the heir to the monado instead of shulk maybe out there in another universe perhaps
0:49-0:53 I recognize that this is old, but in the off chance you see this comment, may I ask why this is your favorite line in the game? I am just curious. Thank you.
I like it a lot because it’s technically the real first indication of Mumkhar being Metal Face, and that’s my favorite plot twist in the game because I somehow did not see it coming at all and was truly shocked by it. When watching other people play through it, they often recognize that Metal Face might be Mumkhar at this point, and because of that this line always gives me chills.
@Montra Interesting! Thank you so much for the reply. Unfortunately, by the time I got to this part, I had forgotten who Mumkhar was lol. It had been a long time from irl beginning of the game to this point for me, but that makes sense. Again, thank you.
Why on earth is "That's Dunban over there" on here and just for the meme?! Why do people have to turn such a heart-breaking scene into this? It's ruins the scene and I can't not think of this stupid meme anymore.
@@Montra78 Really? People asked why it wasn't on there? That's sad. But hey, it's your list so whatever it's worth I think you should put what you think are the top 10.
@@Montra78 Yes, that's what I figured after your first comment. But if your list is going to be affected by people's opinion, then is it really yours anymore? Doesn't that take out the point? Shouldn't the point be to see what your top ten are not what they would want in the top ten? Nobody can make everyone happy anyway. There will always be someone that will be upset something isn't on someone's top list. It's impossible to please everyone.
