Let's say, a person's weight is 62 kgs, he eats 500 calories more than his daily requirement or maintenance calorie limits. So, in one month, he eats 500*30 = 15000 calories. One kg equals 7700 calories. So 15000/7700 equals 1.95 kgs or almost 2 kgs. So the person gains about 2kgs every month, if he eats 500 calories more than his maintenance limit daily.
