They should make a physical book with every dish in it, and let your write in each combination in boxes under the dish (besides rock-hard food and dubious food)

About the Hard-Boiled Eggs, one of the Koroks in Hyrule Castle will spawn if you drop an egg into the little plates with spring water in it. That's where I found out about it
I wish this game had a storage for recipes you've cooked, kind of like collecting a recipe compendium. Most of the time I just don't have the motivation to cook fancy stuff so catch me downing simmered fruit and skewered mushroom.
completionists already have to deal with the koroks- i have all 900 and- i mean tbh it wasnt that bad after i got like 500 i got really into it but the first 100 was so boring
Bro if link went camping with his friends, they would wake him up every morning saying: link... LINK... you have been asleep for the past 100 years... 💀
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FlxTB2McNFg.html now here’s all your high level recipes including Mighty Hot Buttered Apple x3 ATK and Mighty Milk x3 ATK there’s actually a cookbook of 600 high level recipes pinned to the top of my page :) Including the crab omelet with rice x3 attack
Thunder blight: wow this is good what’d you make it with? Link: Well some gerudo fruit milk *cough the last blight i killed cough* Thunder blight: what? Link: OH nothing and a big raddish Thunder blight: oh okay!
For the wind and water blight, hunt in Hebra Mountain region and surrounding snow fields for gourmet meat, cook 5 at a time to get 490 rupees each, buy LOTS of bomb arrows stand back and shoot the hell out of them. They die fast and easy as long as you're good at avoiding incoming attacks. Idk about the other 2 blights as I haven't gotten to them yet.
One thing a lot of people probably never tried cooking: Wood. It's a failed recipe that only recovers 1/4 heart, but watching Link try to eat cooked tree bits is amusing. Also comes in handy during the Trials of the Sword, since you'll have no other use for all the wood you can garner together...may as well make a few dozen extra healing items to use before going into the good stuff.
There’s a side quest in Hateno village where a farmer asks you to clear the beach of Bokoblins or whatever and when you finish and talk to her again you get 10 milk.
Wtf....my 6 yr old son was cooking up some food and we noticed one of them was the honey crepes....he was most certainly throwing them random crap together (as most of his cooked food screen was dubious or rock hard food)yet he definitely made this. Won't hear the end of this now lol
This must be the most random coincidence ever...this is Joanna (Scorpio) from Sweatdrop Studios 😂! Just spotted your comment going down the list, thinking how cute it is for a 6 year old to play BOTW. And then recognised your name! Hope you're doing well ❤️😄
Actually... You can get the recipe from a lady in Gerudo Town that is wearing pink. She tells you it if you can talk to her during the cooking class (which is at night)
I know! Some of these you can just find out for yourself just but looking at one of the recipe books in the game, (like the one at The Slippery Falcon) or just by looking at one of the recipe pictures in the stables. I already knew about the honeyed crepes from a picture at one of the stables. I'll admit though, some of these recipes I've never heard of and never tried, so hey, at least that's something.
Blue shell snails are in front of the goddess statue at night in Lurelein. There are usually a couple wandering around the beach there. Try honey candy. Replenishes stamina. Just cook honey.

Elmo Chaka Creamy Heart Soup is in the book in the kitchen in the Gerudo town. If you go to the ladies' cooking class at night, one of them will tell you about the dish and you can make it yourself. You also get to know what the book on the shelf says as one of the ladies will read it for you
But then I realised that a rito in gerudo town outside of the meat shops says " well they don't seem to POULTRY " poultry means bird meat. Frita is a cannibal
That is not only the case with Fruit cake, almost all of the recipes mentioned in this video were either written down or told to you somewhere in the game, like the Nutcake in the Rito Village Shop or the Creamy Heart Soup in the Gerudo Cooking lessons. The others are given to you in Quests, like the Seafood Paella in Lurelin Village or the pumpkin stew in Hateno village. Of course, this means that these recipes aren't really rare, just incredibly hard to discover by randomly experimenting.
As a chef, I figured a lot of these out, plus the recipes are posted on walls in different locations. The only one that I didn't know about was the Crab omelette, that one was a trip.
Thanks :D by the way if you want a serious stamina boost, cook 5 endura carrots (you can find them at fairy springs and on Satori Mountain) gives you two extra stamina wheals.
Joshua De Las Alas make meat stew by: raw meat, goat butter, fresh milk, tabantha wheat, and anything for the last ingredient for special effect. ( I like to add hearty radish for full recovery and extra hearts)
yes, did you know dishes are just ingredients for super-rare ultra-dishes? Combine the top 5 dishes on this list to create the Triforce Soup that restores all hearts and permanently gives you stealth, attack, and speed special effects. To combine dishes you must put each dish on the top of each divine beast and then battle Ganon while holding the honey crêpe. Then, instead of the final blow, throw the dish at Ganon and voilà! The triforce soup is poured over you and in a baptism-like maneuver, the effects are granted to Link.

No. One Razorclaw Crab, one piece Rock Salt, one Mighty Carp and two Mighty Bananas makes Mighty Salt-Grilled Crab, which grants a high-level attack boost that lasts 10 seconds longer and additionally restores 2 more hearts when consumed, while also utilising more kinds of ingredient. I think it also works for other effects if you have the ingredients, but this is the only set of 4 I have actually found.
I made the creamy heart soup and i got the recipie from someone on Gerudo town. And i made 2 cause i thought she wanted one...but yay! She didn't know i had one!😂
I was gonna say that myself! There’s a gerudo woman who forgot the recipe, well remembered most but Link has to find the last ingredient that I believe was...hearty radish
Cooking in this game looses its importance once you realize that putting any item with the hearty modifier, even on its own, in a cooking pot produces a dish that will refill all your hearts and add a few extra yellow ones as well
Adds yellow hearts (extra health) when you cook it. Effectively gives you armor, since once those hearts are gone, you have to eat another hearty meal for more.
Shpingo Yeah, the cooking system is broken as hell in this game. That's why in my most recent challenge run, I banned meal cooking. Only roasting and elixers. Except for the Trial of the Sword of course. And that one island.
Haha! I HAVE done all 12 of these. I've spent more time cooking in the game than advancing the story. However i DIDNT know about the hard boiled Eggs. So i guess i Did learn something in this video. Thanks. =^w^=
+Rei Tachibana o ok, I hear you. I own a pc, and pretty much all the Sony , sets, Microsoft and Nintendo consoles , since the original Nintendo. Honestly I don't know why I even keep buying every new console. I have no time to play anyways. Old ppl problems lol. If your an avid gamer, I def recommend picking up a Wii U, just for this game. It's that good. One of My favorite games of all time. I've been playing since 1986...
Here's the options Eating a varied and balanced diet filled with unique and delicious food Or Meat, mushroom, and fish skewers, with some fried wild greens and simmered fruit
I used to sneak down at night while my parents were asleep and carefully unwrap my presents to see what I had gotten way before Xmas then tape them back up again haha. I had surprises and waiting for junk. Still do.
Tbh i have a recipe of my own i found it myself while experimenting You know hearty fruits right? Like you know hearty truffles, dorian, radish Well just cook one of these things and you get full recovery and bonus hearts PS:Big hearty radish and big hearty truffles are the best one's to cook
Austin John Plays I'VE COOKED ALL OF THEM ;D, (btw the hard boiled eggs did I do in Hyrule castle because there's a Korok with three warm water sources and two of them are filled with hard boiled eggs, so I just drop another on in the middle.)

Just so you guys know you can find recipe hanging on the wall of any stable. I cooked 2 honey crape after seeing on, because WHO DON'T LIKE CRAPES!!!!!
Bro idk why but in 2018 this was all I played on my birthday and watched every vid from Austin to complete it bc I just was not skilled enough lol, and coming back just makes me feel like 11 yr old that played this 24 hrs a day.
with over 580 hours on this game and a thirst for knowledge, i made an cookbook once. it has lots of flaws and is missing some recipes, but man it was fun to make anyway
I have only made creamy heart soup because of what Ashai (From Gerudo Town) tells you in her cooking class, and I have made seafood paella from the side quest in Lurelin Village where you have to fetch a woman some goat butter and a hearty blue shell snail so she can make some seafood paella. Also, if you’re having trouble finding hearty blue shell snails, they’re everywhere around Lurelin Village.

Max Leon I know, I lived there for the first 11 years of my life and I saw someone get the cops called on them because they spilled coffee in a movie theater. Thankfully he didn't get arrested
"12 rarest recpies!" Me: "I've cooked these a thousand times for the thousand lifetimes this poor link has died before I could consume it to regain the hearts needed good sir."
