love the game, the only problem I have found is that the light machine gun is just a bit over powered (but it's just so fun!)

I want to see Zanzibar, Burial Mounds, and Headlong the most from the Halo 2 maps. From Halo 3 I want to see Citadel, Cold Storage, Ghost Town, High Ground, Isolation, Narrows, and Stand-Off.

I'm a bit disappointed that Ascent didn't work. The idea of one team pushing up a hill against another team is something I've always wanted to do, and something that's been ruined in other Halos by having any team spawn anywhere. Really frustrating to take the high ground with your co-ordinated team and only to have the other team spawn in behind you...

I loved halo reaches maps especially sword base.

Hardly, they're huge you can shoot them pretty much anywhere on the map, unless they hide at the back of their spawn. As soon as you get in one you have spartan lasers, snipers, banshee's, enemy mantises and a bunch of ordnance weapons to deal with.

I think that Exile and Abandon should be considered as "classic" Halo maps. Abandon really reminds me of ascension with the "Tower of power" deal and Exile is jut a great unique map.

I see where you're coming from. The map packs will make more diverse game time. I'd also rather have too many map options in matchmaking rather than only 3 maps being played over and over. But that's just me I guess :)

Halo 4 needs a few more maps, they should defiantly get community made remakes/successors to maps such as The Pit, Lockout, Guardian, etc.

Ive been loving this game so far. Just some things that i would like clearing up :) Are some modes missing? i love swat but its not on matchmaking. Also what are specialisations? And wtf is with the patterns on some peoples guns....i want a pattern on my gun xD

I find it pretty unique though. They're making the maps from scratch and also using from that others have delicately made in Forge Mode. Rather than like other games, copy and pasting Campaign maps.

OMG i forgot about sand trap lol great fun when playing as zombies. i'm glad they brought back Valhalla though. another great map.

Ragnarok was my favourite by far.

Without firefight you are fairly limited, you can build Forge maps, play campaign, or the first chapter of Spartan Ops. After that I'm not sure.

Someone remade the pit almost perfectly a week before the game came out, dunno what his gamertag is, tho.

Lockout, Midship, Beaver Creek, Backwash, Headlong. Foundation. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Halo 2 Maps. Please don't be greedy like Call Of Duty, and BLESS US with as many epic classics like these. Thank You :)

Using the mantis is fun, problem is, you literally turn into a bullet magnet, man I love ragnarok :D

true, but then you have to consider custom maps. They might not be new background maps but they can have a million different types of customization on them

Settler is now my favorite CTF map after it got fixed!

I kinda want to see a DLC that has atleast 1 map from CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Reach. (Maybe not Reach but still.) And the community gets to VOTE for the maps that come back.

guardian was my fav halo map from any halo game

i will say this. I we do ever get Invasion mode back, then a map like Ascent would be very well suited for it.

i agree with exile being best map=) i average + 10-15 kills on exile and on other maps i average like +3 to 7

Throwback pack: Guardian, Avalanche, and Last resort. The best for Slayer, BTB, and Objective game modes, in that order. MAKE IT HAPPEN PLEASE GUYS!

1 and 2 should be switched, I think Wraparound (Haven) should be a classic map like Lockout or Zanzibar, Blood Gulch etc.

Actually, I found these "Treyard games" different. From the 60s Black Ops era campaign that give you great Icons from fiction to nofiction (John F. Kennedy) and the so called "Zombie mode" dificult. I did enjoy the game to be different after they add the AI. Seriously, since when a call of duty has AI? That really awesome!

exile has no scorpion :( no gauss cannon now a rocket but fun tip:if you make all rockets on a rocket warthog to hit a matis the mantis will get destroyed.Ragnorok now has 1 normal warthog 1 rocket 1 banshee 1 ghost 1mantis for each team but makes it harder to survive longer on foot

vahalla was a remake of blood gultch in halo 3 they just replaced teleporters with man cannons an made it a little smaller

For me there arent really enough maps to keep myself motivated for long sessions... Why cant you play the forge maps online like in halo reach?

Remember there are 9 more coming (at least). Having too many maps takes up disk space as well as the fact that you will never play some of them in matchmaking.

Why are there no forge maps playable yet?

I actually like all the maps. I enjoy Ragnarok the most when it comes to BTB, but all the maps are good, I just like some more than others.

you really do need teamwork on Haven. I learned that the hard way today; got so owned on that map today.

Big problem with Halo 4’s maps was the fact they were all so tiny, especially the ones made for BTB. They didn’t have enough room to move around if you managed to get in a tank

I played something like 400 hours of Halo CE for the PC and don't recall that map one bit. The maps I recall are the fucking amazing maps like with longswords and shit.

Halo 3 had the highest number of truly great maps: Guardian, The Pit, Valhalla, Sand Trap, Blackout(Lockout in HD), Construct, Last Resort, Rats Nest, and Standoff were all groundbreaking.

Halo 4 needs more maps. I don't think 13 can cut it. When 3 of them are forge exclusive. I think they should release a remake map pack. Pit/Narrows/Guardian/Cold storage. Those were the most memorable maps I can think of in 3. The reason they were memorable was because they were more man- made maps. Pretty much every map in 4 is Forerunner/Promethean/Covenant. It needs more human maps imo

they never said there would be a forge world. just the 3 forge maps that are in the game right now. but i agree they need a big forge map like forge world.

Yes I know what it was supposed to be, but that doesn't change the fact that it was still full price. If my halo 3 disc didn't break prior to ODST being released I would of felt really ripped off for buying ODST. I had already owned all the map packs and even though I loved the ODST campaign, it was not worth full price.

Metldown wasn't similar in the slightest to Infinity - it was much more reminiscent of Ice Fields.

Well, as always, there'll be people who disagree... I would put Adrift higher, with Settler and Ragnarok and Exile lower... I would say that Haven, Complex or Adrift is the best map.

If there are two maps that need to comeback it's The Pit and Guardian.

all i freaking want is an empty forge map to make stuff in, so you dont have to spend an hour deleting everything to make a map...

This game need more small and symmetrical maps like, the pit, gaurdian, blackout/lockout, narrows, etc. Just to make it more fast paced like halo is supposed to be. And whats with have just 2-3 maps played over and over in slayer? smh...

Its a fucking Mammoth now! I hope we get to see it in MP.
