Hyoyeon, Hoya, Feel Dog, and Ten really delivered throughout the show. I wish they'd do a Season 2 and invite more seasoned dancers from past idol groups, that would be awesome. Unfortunately thou I don't think they'll ever have do a season 2 considering there have been only rumors about it the past years and no official articles.

I remember some fangirls of a certain idol in that competition dragged every Hyoyeon's performance and criticized her like they know sumn about dancing at all. They were so threatened it's so funny.

i know he didn't have a lot of stages, but my personal favorite is rocky’s. it was just so theatrical

since no one’s talking about yugyeom i will :D i feel like he’s a dancer that’s not talked about much in the kpop community compared to other main dancers i don’t know much about dance but i think he does house dance (?) and isn’t that pretty unique within idols? (i’m not that deep into kpop so i don’t know much about the style of dance other idols practiced) i can only say as an amateur with no knowledge but his stage presence and technique and execution is amazing and this is from four? years ago i think, he’s improved so much and i believe he deserves more recognition not just as got7’s main dancer but as a dance performer individually anyways loved the comments as usual!! and they’re all truly great dancers, born to perform :))

Yugyeom is probably one of the most underrated super talented main dancers in Kpop, he got the smoothest and a really nice groovy style that’s so overshadowed it hurts

taemin and koharu's performance was iconic they are truly the pride of Korea and Japan I was amazed when I first watched it and years later I'm still amazed I actually liked the outfits and I love the song and the choreography and want them to collab again

my cousin doesn't actually enjoy watching people 'dance', when i tried showing him a couple of hts performances he got bored and wouldn't watch them til the end, but then when i showed him ten's devil stage i remember him actually being so into it and he kept on asking me about ten and for more of his stuff,, idk why i typed all this in,, completely irrelevant, but ten's power !!!!!!!!!

bora's tap dancing deserved a spot, she learned how to do it in a week with no prior training and it was the only dance to get full marks from the judges.

Yugyeom in the top 10 yess my hardworking boy deserves it. His dancing skills needs to be praised more

Yugyeom only had 2 stages on Hit the Stage and both left memorable and great impression, that's saying a lot:') he also was very very young at the time, probably around 18, talented!

and people have the audacity to remove hyoyeon from a best main dancer's list or place her lower than others when it's a list about technicality and stuff ksjkgjds hyoyeon the og dance machine yall !! and btw, she's the highest scored gg main dancer in this chanel's analyzing main dancers videos and she's second to taemin overall literally only by a couple of decimals

one of my personal favorite performances of the show is Rocky's uniform theme performance. It's one of those 'I just can't look away' performances that feel like they've ended as soon as they started because you're so engrossed in it. I wish Rocky could've stayed on the show longer to really show more of his skill-set

one of my favourite ever stages in HISTORY (I think it was on hit the stage but idk lol) was the Mina / momo ‘crazy in love’ stage that told the story of domestic abuse and the ignorance of society when it came to it. (EDIT: the theme was 'this love', and momo decided to show the toxic side to it) A crazed momo ‘locks’ Mina into a box, forces her to be her puppet, terrorises her (Mina is a great actress btw) and all of this is told through the medium of dance; suddenly Mina disappears (passes away). the back up dancers come in, hands across their eyes and refusing to watch, walking in a very uniform line. momos face is tainted with black paint (signifying her evil?), but she able to easily slip into the line. they all walk towards the end of the stage together (though momo stops, and that’s where the stage ends). when i first watched it, i was taken aback. I didn’t expect such a taboo concept to be used (momo choreographed to herself) , especially since there were quite a few stages that didn’t tell such a ‘deep’ story, they were focused more on technical skills. momo specifically wanted Mina as part of it (yay going against heteronormative standards) but honestly I don’t think that was the main point of the dance. the point was the STORY, which was absolutely heartbreaking. a real life incident had happened quite recently in Korea too, I think it may have been called the Seoul torso murder but I’m not sure : where a man locked up his ex girlfriend because he ‘desperately loved her’ but terrorised her with abuse and raped her often. authorities and their community were made aware but no one did anything, until one day he lost it and cut her up 100s of pieces. the police took 13 hours to act. I think contextually the dance was so powerful, and technically it was decent too (after all, it’s choreographed by momo). what was especially powerful was their expressions - momo played the role of a crazed psychotic toxic person eerily well, especially when you’ve seen her outside dances and stuff. mina’s expressions were heartbreaking. if you look up the performance, you’ll see a lot of praise in the comments. but I believe momo actually came LAST for her performance. I hate the fact that none of the judges touched upon the storyline (even without knowing of the incident, the psychotic, toxic relationship part was heartbreaking). the fact that momo managed to create such an amazing performance within the first year of her debut astounds me.

A performance that I love is U-know stage with YooA on the love theme. It's just so cute I could watch it over and over

I knew Hoya’s performance would be first! When I first watched that performance it just felt perfect and solid. Hoya seriously has a knack for these competition kinda things

I was so scared that Hoya's performance with Hyojin from 1million dance studio didn't make the list but they ended up winning, deserved, I am obsessed with that dance

even to this day, i still go back to that closer performance of hoya because holy crap, that really was the best! whenever i think of this show, the performances that comes to mind is hoya's this love performance, ten's devil performance, and yugyeom dancing to that chris brown song

In my Opinion Feeldog is soo underated and a really good dancer, i just hope that he get his well deserved recognition/fame!!

i think my favourite performance on hit the stage was the this love theme by momo and mina. that performance was really breathtaking, and the message behind it really made me speechless. and underrated performance.

Mina and Momo's "This Love" will always be "The Best" for me. Momo is a rookie and not that really popular back then but she managed to compete with her sunbaes, and her performance with Mina deserve's a lot of Love.

I'M SO HAPPY HOYA'S THIS LOVE PERFORMANCE IS 1ST!!! It's one of my favourites choreso from the show, I remember I cried when I first saw it because the emotions in it are so well portrayed... I loved it! I was waiting for it to make the cut, but 1st!! YESSSSS I'm happy to see a lot of Feeldog in this, too! He is so underrated, but he's one of the best dancers kpop has and it's sad that not many people know him. He's an all rounder artist, I miss him.

i loved hoyas performance with choi hyojin. i was so obsessed with it and i loved how immersive it was. all of ten's performances were super engaging too and i personally enjoyed his this love performance too because it was just light and enjoyable. i'm surprised hyoyeon's cell block tango wasn't here because i was so impressed by that too.

Please make an analysis on Wang Yibo dance! 🥺 He is part of the group UNIQ which couldn't promote anymore due to the laws in China and South Korea that affect K-pop. He is awesome! I bet you'll be completely blown away!

I was hoping rocky's would be on here, but I was actually wondering if the no. 1 would be on here, it's one of my favorites I never get tired of it

wasn't on the list and probably for a reason, but momo and mina's this love theme was one of my absolute favourites just because of the story and the symbolism. the choreography wasn't too crazy maybe, but momo knows when to go off strong to really leave an impact, and her acting was amazing, like, wow, those facial expressions really sold what she was trying to portray :D

i feel like a lot of new k-pop fans don't even know who feeldog is so this dude is a little underappreciated but he's a genius dancer. just an all-rounder in general. i'd love to see your analysis of his dancing someday

I think chungha (the single ladies, and with yoojung) should be in this. Her waacking can't be comparable with any idols.

not entirely relevant but i just wanted to say i absolutely love your channel. as someone who doesn’t dance and has never formally been taught about dance, watching your videos has actually taught me a lot about what “good” dancing looks like. now i can’t stop picking out things in my head when i watch dance practices/performances and i credit that entirely to you. praying for greater success in your future!

I was expecting to see Feeldoggy here ❤️❤️❤️ He's way too much underrated, but he have many qualities and he gave super cool performances 😍 Hit The Stage is the type of show that is so interesting, all these dancers are different, coming from different agencies, having different styles, and every performances are unique. And it gives all the stage for those dancers that sometimes aren't always highlighted because of their groups concept. :)
