YEAR SEASON 2019...BEGIN! Help me get this video to 7000 likes 👍What did YOU think was the worst song of the year?! Thanks to everyone who watched/supported throughout 2019, this was a tough year for a myriad of reasons, including trying to put this (my biggest video of the year) together. I know the lighting could be a LOT better throughout, but I promise I tried to film it several other better places. Everything fell through, but the original location can be seen during #16 in the skit. Cheers to the new decade that's just around the corner!

Someone You Loved easily. 7 rings is trashy, but at least it's catchy, and has at least an echo of Arianas amazing voice, meanwhile Lewis Capaldi has one of the worst singing voices I've ever heard, and that song has the worst falsetto I've ever heard, and I've heard many bad falsettos.

@I ship Captain Swan I think that the other 3 songs you mentioned are decent but I Fell In Love In Love With The Devil feels unintentionally hilarious to me because its lyricial content sounds like something from an overdramatic ballad about a bad relationship from a B-list mid 2000s faux-emo pop rock band. Also, it sounds so bland musically and it lacks the bombast and actual emotion that made songs in that lane like It Ends Tonight and Fall For You work

@bitch! like my comment You know what else is pathetic? People who believe that more popularity is indicative of better music. That couldn't be further from the truth, and in fact, 7 Rings is a perfect example of that. It's very popular yes but probably only because it's Ariana Grande. If it were anyone else, it probably wouldn't have had such popularity, except maybe Taylor Swift or someone like that. Anyway I find 7 Rings TERRIBLE, I gave the reasons why in my other reply to you. Yet it's extremely popular, I hear it's the biggest single from a female artist of 2019, and second overall. Despite the song's success, it's absolutely awful. Plus it got mixed reviews from critics and some fans too, and even some negative reviews. Defending bad songs by talking about their high amount of streams, likes, etc. drastically diminishes your credibility like Jon said in a video. You're pathetic if you think popularity means goodness.

Flamestar320 power to the people Too Bad Rock died as a Mainstream Genre this decade. (I mean Chart presence, Awards, AirPlay etc.) :( But this year had some great comebacks. Even Rammstein and Silbermond (both not rock I know) returned. It wasn’t a bad year for music itself but an Atrocious one for mainstream music. Neither Rammstein nor Silbermond had Chart presence this year (At least not top 20 in the German charts).

I went to Bunnings it’s sad how musically inept most of the youth is nowadays. Some people just naturally have 0 interest in music and will casually bop their heads to background noise. It takes someone who’s actually into non-modern music to introduce something to someone in order for them to explore sometimes. Quite hypocritical of me to say though, as I only got into music in general during my early college years and was raised with people and peers who were just as disinterested as I was.

I don't know if you've heard the song "Memories" by Maroon 5, but it's a song that's supposedly written about the band's passed manager. The reason I hate it so much is because it's meant to be a tribute song, but the Chords and melody have been pretty much stolen from Pachabel's "Canon" The song is so old that they can't make copyright claims on it but if they really cared about their manager, they would've come up with an original tune, like My Chemical Romance's "Helena"

I just imagine Lil Baby before he was big, he probably had a RU-vid channel with maybe 20 subscribers, recorded videos from his phone on portrait mode and just rapped along to RU-vid trap instrumentals he played off his PC speakers. Maybe he also livestreamed on Facebook and the only people who watched were laughing their asses off in the chat.

Love this video every year. I’m glad to have avoided most of these songs. I’m not sure I agree with the Lewis Capaldi. I get that it’s overplayed and fits into your “grocery store” category but it’s refreshing for a new songwriter to get this much attention. Plus his Noel Gallagher feud was the greatest thing that happened in 2019.
