3 nib - nib is only effective if you can pair it with another hand trap, since im cutting my hand traps down it is very unlikely that i will be able to pair it 3 ash - vulnerable to hiita and talents, there is a combo to make appo before they resolve original sinful spoils making ash a low impact card 3 imperm - its a good card but has conflicts if i draw it with phantazmay and if they have kirin they can play through it 3 reignbeaux + 1 sillva - i dont need a discard engine if im drawing a 6th card for turn plus having phantazmay to draw me into a better hand. as a side note, this engine is mostly to supplement me in building a strong board but if im going 2nd i just need to break the board and go into a hard made noir which doesnt require the dark worlds 2 prosperity - consistency card that isnt too great to resolve because i want to see gravekeepers inscription before i enter main phase and im already getting consistency through a 6th card/phantazmay overall, my approach is that i dont want to play a hand trap minigame and hope that my 1 hand trap stops my opponents turn if they dont have extender or hope that i can draw 2 hand traps. now you combine the uncertainty plus the fact that your opponent can be on defensive cards like called by, crossout, talents which would significantly punish you. so by playing high impact boardbreakers i dont have to suffer from those problems. also my reasoning for keeping droll and belle as my only hts is that droll is a card that can force your opponent to end on a half board and belle can used on your own turn to stop princess.

@@dkphamethere have been a moderate amount of topping lists with shifter, it's been a good tech for high impact.

@@dkphame Gabriel Soussi played shifter in purrely, in go second it’s just free, you kill the majority of decks and you can play through it. Go first is a discard or in some set up you can activate it

@@mirmundir1778 he played it at a time when tearlaments was still a rly good deck and that shifter was probably even usable going first since they could play on your turn. the meta that we are in now is completely different. snake eyes decks can still put up interruptions under shifter, so you really arent stopping them and on top of that you are stoping yourself from using lyly. you also have to realize that purrely is a deck that can only OTK their opponent if they put up a monster for you to go into happy. the snake eyes deck can make an s:p and banish it to have a clear field.
