Airgun Depot: Suggestion box request! Since all of us will not spend $600 - $2000 for our air rifles + more $$$ for PCP fill sources when powder burning rifles cost the same or less. The "New Lady" should do Top 5's for the average backyard plinker and pest hunter supporting the other pellet/gun companies. With one beak barrel rifle and one PCP have Travis, off camera, shoot groupings(8-10 shots) on targets ("distance of about 25 and 50 yards) to back up the results. Or have new lady do it if she is a better shot. Do a Top 5 Gamo pellets; with the Gamo rifles (identify rifles used) Followed by Top 5 Crosman/Benjamin pellets .177 & .22. using Benjamin & Crosman rifles. But don't forget RWS pellets and their UMarex rifles. In the end how about the Top 5 green (Lead free) pellets to finish it off. I think your manufacturing partners would love the great exposure across all demographics. What do you think guys and gal?
Great list. Thanks for jsb on top, they are best in my gun, worth the price. Would like to mention rws superdome, good for my 1377 at much lower price. Every gun likes certain types of pellets. I'm good with dime groups at 20 yards. 😉
I agree with this review. Air guns in .177 below 20J (16fpe) I always choose the Exact RS 4.52mm and above 20J (16fpe) I pick the Exact Heavy 4.52mm. It might be the slightly different shape that makes them fly so well. With the RS is think the skirts are thinner causing them to “balloon” and follow the rifling better...who knows I love em both.
Airgun Depot Ok video, but tired of claims with no evidence. Some of us would like to see the evidence behind your companies claims!! Like most companies are you getting paid by H&N and JSB/Predator Int. or are you just trying to sell your most profitable/expensive pellets? If you added a few moments documenting the rifles used in testing along with evidence (targets w/ distance showing results). You could still make the magical under 5 minute video with some EVIDENCE!!
For myself from spring piston, gas spring , Air arms tx 200, Weihrauch HW 50, 90, 30. BEEMAN R7, Diana's, Crosman , I spent Thousands of dollars of every pellets and Jsb always comes up on top, and for my PCPs FX, DAYSTATE, BROCOCK, AIRARMS, BSA, GAMO, UMAREX, BENJAMIN , WALTHER, SAME RESULT JSB THANK GOD PINPOINT ACCURACY. I wasted a lot of money on other manufacturers, this is my experience so far.
We don't get paid by any companies to promote their products. We are a retailer, not a reviewer, so we are interested in showing what we think our customers are going to be most satisfied with. While we don't shoot the pellets in these Top 5s we have plenty of other videos where we do, and the accuracy of them is caught on film. We only recommend pellets that we have consistently had good results with in a variety of rifles. Of course we have our favorites and ones we tend to use more than others, and our choices are somewhat subjective based on our own experience, but that is why we appreciate comments from viewers to help bring in more varied experience and recommendations.
My test is distance. Why test pellets at 20 to 50 yards? If you can shoot bottle caps at 65 yards with a cheap Benjamin Titan .177" break barrel gun with the JSB 10.34g pellet, (and you can), than I am pretty sure you can hit 1" diameter targets at any distance to 65 yards. The heavier pellet is leaving the barrel of that gun at 850 fps and makes 16.6 fpe and they never fly sideways. I have found very little reason to TRY any other pellet. I bet I can shoot that pellet better than a lot of people can shoot a .22 long rifle firearm to 70 yards.

Couldn't agree more with you the jsb pellets works brilliant in both of my airarms rifles the tx200hc in 177cal and the pro sport in 22 cal the hatsan mod 125 sniper also love this pellets
Crosman 7.4 wadcutters have always shot great n the rws round head. Oh daisy hollow point the old version. Yeah cheap n shoot great. Most wouldn't even look at them but they r great.
Not a fan of JSB's here, I prefer the H & N's over most others. So I would move the can of them a little higher on your list ! Sad I don't see the H&N barracuda hunters listed for sale in .25 that often. I know I didn't buy them all !!
Gamo silent cat .177 are 10.5gr and fly true in cheapest of air rifles , even in $40 BB/Pellet pump rifles. They are similar in design to some of these and pack a punch in larger pest birds.
As a U.K. Hunter Field Target shooter (restricted to sub 12ft/lb rifles by law) I swear by JSB 8.44gn, 4.53 head size in my RAW TM1000 and my Walther LG300 Dominator. At 25yds, prone, outdoors, it is possible to literally put 5 pellets on top of each other, and at 45 yd’s sub 10mm 5 shot groups are easily achievable on a good day.

I love the Bisley Magnum as do many air rifle friends, hard to find right now! Superb pellet, very consistent hard hitting, really surprised it's not in your top five, or is it?
Excellent review; catching varied comments, which must be so since each gun seems to behave differently; however, JSB 8.44 is, as she says, widely tried and appreciated and I am one of the admirers too. Recently shot at 60 plus yards, pcp 850 fps, and the verticle line starting from 20 yards till 60+ seems to be very impressive. However, I do admit that one or two shots behave unsatisfactorily.
I just got my first tin of RWS super dome 8.1 grain. Before that all I used was gamo. Let me just say wow. As soon as I opened the tin I knew I was in for a treat. Compared to gamo these RWS are a hand crafted Mercedes Benz while the gamo is a mass produced Ford Focus. The gamo pellet skirts are crimped, there are manufacturing marks, and some even come misshaped! The RWS pellets are impeccable. Smooth as butter and my gamo swarm maxim rotary magazine is very picky and so far so good

I have all 5 now. The lighter ones are loved by my Umarex Synergis with the 8.44 being #1. My Sig ASP20 doesn't hate any pellet, but the Field Target Trophy doesn't group as well. The heavier ones do best with the Baracuda Match making one hole with 5 shots at 25 yards.

Best penetration pellets: 1. = Gamo, Lethal. 2. = Fast flight Crossman. 3. = prometheus excite. Non lead pellets, hard sabot type pellets, extremley fast and good at penetrating hard objects like metal etc.. really recommend them. Extremley fast, and way harder than lead pellets, it’s sabot type pellets that has a core inside the polymer plastic
You can try what's working in similar guns first, but every gun needs to be tested with many different pellet brands, models and head sizes to find the most accurate for that particular gun.
Depends on the gun. Gauntlet likes (in order of group best to worst) HN Field Target Trophy 4.51mm, JSB 8.44, JSB Heavy, Crosman copper, JSB 7.33, Crosman 10.5gr, Crosman destroyer 7.9gr (not the new 7.5gr), Crosman hollow point 7.9gr. Worst are wadcutter types like Crosman wadcutter and HN pointed and new Crosman destroyer 7.5gr.
Number 1 will surely be Crosman Vigilante revolver for $55. I could complain if hung with a new rope, but can't find a thing it doesn't do right. And plenty of the rate of accu.
This listing was highly anticipated. None of my brands on the list - but I was just more interestedcro see what these guys come up with. Not any surprises in this listing though. They are just more expensive than the ones I use. But, I am no match target shooter either. No need for absolute accuracy with my replica pellet airguns. Have tried H&N Field Target Trophy Green pellets for higher fps - but more fps came on the cost on the accuracy. Better for me to stay with the cheaper RWS Club pellets in my co2 pellet repeater pistols. Though.. Those JSBs have always called a bit on me for to try them out also..😁
Where do we buy JBS Dieablo .177 pellets? They are not at Walmart and every pellet Walmart sells is trash. NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK IN MY GAMO BIG CAT 1250 with any accuracy.
Settle down I understand about gamo quality control issue but if you get a good one and 3/4 outa my experience isn't bad. I've had issues with rws and crosman so it happens I don't disagree with you there.
Thanks for the video, I’ve tried all of them in your top 5 in different guns. CO2, springer and PCP they all shot well but after all the smoke clears my favorite is the Crosman premier domed 10.5 and the JSB monster 13.43 in the PCP for predators .
@@rami052 Just setup noisy targets in safe areas if you are just into scaring them away (They dont seems to like it when I shoot at my plastic bottle stand, makes some noise + its free)
Im doing a homemade blastcap test (old tire\tripe valve stuck in a 2L bottle cap) I tried 40,60 and 80 PSI yet but im being a *childkitten* about pumping those 2L bottles to 120 psi haha (seems like this is what they need to go boom) + I dont know if the neighbours will like those that much haha
If pellets cost more than six dollars for a 300 ct. tin, you're paying too much. RWS Hobby are good, 7.0 grain. Drop a squirrel, ten yards. Fuckin' bastards. Saw one eat a rocking chair once.
