What the heck does crossing midline mean and why is it so dang important?!
Think of your body as two halves - a right half and a left half. Crossing midline is when one half moves across the middle to the other side.
For example: touching your left shoulder with your right hand.
When this happens, it facilitates communication of the left and right sides of your brain! Anytime the two hemispheres of the brain work together, it creates new neural pathways and increases learning and overall development!
