Holosun is pretty damn waterproof there are videos of people submerging them and 3 ft of water for hours hell even freezing them and they work just fine you can beat the hell out of them I'm sure there are other optik people would enjoy using but I like using mine and you can't beat the battery life as well as the solar panels they don't just pick up sunlight they also use indoor light so your battery lasts
The first eotech video is of eotech showing you how to spot a fake. Describing a sight while a fake is on the screen just makes me not believe anything you say.
Eotech whichever model you chose is the best CQB sight period. I speak from experience putting a 512 to the ultimate test, war. I beat that sight to death and it never once failed me. thanks eotech!!
It's a damn good holographic optic, especially when used in conjunction with a magnifier which shows how crisp and clear the optic window really is..... But that price is just rediculous with today's current offerings. Eotech still makes all government contracts their main priority so with that the citizens sales come wayyyyyyy down the list which has completely halted eotech from ever having to advance their product. Still no auto on, horrible battery life and lacking technology. I'm not a hater or anything, I own two separate eotech optics and a vudu LPVO but until they decide to make the common citizen their priority I won't be purchasing anything else from them. I was very disappointed with their recent pistol mounted rds.... First off they went with the doctor footprint which is a horrible decision. It's also just a simple dot optic, no circle dot, it's designed with an open emitter and it's window is too wide.
@@TerminalM193 is that even possible to have a window too wide? I just swapped out my Eotech XPS with an elcan Spectre dr. I’m starting to think I made a bad decision. The Spectre is nice but I don’t feel it was worth the $$$. I thought the side mounted 1x-4x would be fast but I can flip a magnifier faster then I can flick the switch. And I miss the wide window on the eotech, everything else just feels like I’m staring through a tube. I definitely agree about the short battery life, and the failure to reduce price or progress. But I have to hand it too Eotech for being a good rugged optic.
Facepalm. Dude showing a knock off 512 at 1:24. Real eotechs cannot change reticle color from red to green or vice versa. If you're gonna make a list at least feature genuine products.
This creater is slow and did no homework. He used rangers using EXPS3-0 for his “XPS” portion, used a holosun red dot (not holographic) and regurgitated the same things over and over again
UH1 drains battery even when it's turned off.And it NOT a ture holographic site. It's very sad this particular optic is not a good choice. I am currently going to sell my for either a EOtech or Meprolight
@@johnflank8135 everyone says that but I can't see either. If you're not an hyper fixating autist, you can't see the tint. I've taken the optic off the gun and moved it as fast as I could and didn't notice any refresh rate issues
I own two ….MEPROLIGHT RDS PRO V2 Military Grade Red Dot Sight……this optic is way better than any of the ones mentioned, especially the Holosun HS510c which is made in China (ewwww and yuck). The MEPROLIGHT V2 is made in Israel and used by the IDF, it uses a single AA battery, glass is crisp, has a 2 moa dot with bullseye reticle, has Shake-n-wake technology . Meprolight also came out with various pistol red dots as well…I also own two of them as well both using the RMR footprint. These red dots and holographic sights work flawlessly…..check them out
I’m guessing you mean weapon not gun, and yes certain units, within certain branches allow for certain customization of the primary and secondary weapons, not to mention LEO ( law enforcement officers), certain parts of different departments allow for fatigue style uniforms ( the different styles of camouflage, like the multi cam in the video ) as well as certain units with in the department have specialized and customized weapons. All for different types of situations. I’m assuming by the down talking of your comment you knew all this and were merely joking, and if not, I’d prob do just a touch of research before making such a rude and shallow comment with nothing but hot air to back it! Stay safe out on the range and enjoy our freedoms!
