Found this through your appearance on Greg Doucette's channel, and loving it so far. I've been thinking about moving away from bar bench press movements to more cable/fly movements for a while for reasons you talked about (more isolation, less shoulder/tricep) this video gave me some great ideas on what to move too.

This is beautifully evidence-based. Stretch under controlled heavy load, incl lengthened partials, is the biggest driver of hypertrophy during the rep. It’s also opposite to most bro lifters who cheat reps w lazy, short-ROM ego lifting.

Unfortunately people don’t want to do these because of their ego. These are much lighter than most movements gym bros like. I have been doing them for a couple months. The kneeling press is a new one you haven’t shown. My chest used to be smaller than my shoulders because I’m shoulder dominant in a lot movements. My chest is now bigger than my shoulders!

Never been a big believer of bench press. Never had any gains from bench pressing, mostly shoulders and a shoulder injury. Thanks to you, I now hace more excersices and have ditched bench pressing completely.

I just happen to stumble across one of your feed, have learned a lot and implemented was about having a idea of what I’m doing, like going slow down with the weights than wait for 15 sec than pick up and than go normal. Man I fill it and I learn to leave the ego and drop the weight and go with form and go slow.

Great video! Would you ever do other videos with alternate exercises that work the same muscle area for those who don't have access to the equipment you use? For instance, I go to a gym, but they don't have the machines you use for some your leg tutorials

New subscriber, learned a lot of foke tuning my technique from your videos.. Which really took out the experimental guess work I've been doing for years. Personal trainers in my various gyms have been amateurs, each contradicting the other snd my progress being stunted. I've got a solid 10 years of training under my belt and was instinctively doing the exact same exercises in this video and made better gains without the personal trainers. This video just made a lot of sense. 💪🏽🔥🔥🔥

Highly highly highly recommend you do some type of free standing overhead press without your scapula in a fixed motion on a bench. I did all these exercise for a couple months and my shoulder mobility decreased, if you are going t do this make sure you keep unrestricted overhead work in your routine!

I dont' really like best exercises videos because I don't believe in universal best exercises but I just like the guy and the technique tips and the full rom made this much more enjoyable to watch.

On my push days I use kettlebells to do the uppercut flys to warm up, I only have free weights at home, my shelf on my chest is noticabley bigger just from a couple months

Awesome video, I got a question in regards to dips. At the gym I go to there is only an assisted dip machine. My question is this, what is the difference in the wide grip and narrow setting on machine? Which one will target the lower chest more? Thank you

Just do both and see which one you feel more in the lower chest. A lot of times it has to do with the width of the person v

multiple grams of test, gram of primo or mast, some var, basically what every other top bb is doing today... of course, don't forget your hundreds of IUs of pharma grade HGH per week too, that's the most expensive part
