Best Mask ever in Slipknot and was favorite artist in Slipknot. Was so weird not seeing him and that mask behind the kit anymore with the Knot. A GOAT and legend, #1 best masks of them all RIP Joey. 🤘🙏🥁

You fuckin nailed it. Gotta say the worm eye and the dot lip are up there. The subtle imperfections and the home made "eerie-ness" of it all. Mad love man

That kerrang mask is so damn good. And all his earlier ones. And I do like vol. 3. If I had to add a 6 it would be the AHIG Joey specifically in a backstage photo of him with Corey and clown it's almost like a dirty cream color but yeah. 🤘

For me, I feel like his AHIG mask would have been a lot better if he pulled back a bit on the details. Part of me really enjoys the weathered look on the debut version, but all the molded in staples just make it look like a dollar store mask.

You should make a life size bust of Jim root from Iowa that would be soo sick or hell even make the whole band but still awesome either way

5. Makeup 83 Cesar (totally outside the box like the Bloody Iowa but a lot more subtle in its creepiness whereas the Bloody feels, as much as I appreciate it, a bit try hard) 4. Ozzfest 83 (first one Joey did up, and it’s just cool) 3. Spit It Out Blank 83 (the closest Joey ever came to looking like The Shape, paired with the creepy nursery rhyme music and Shining reenactment. Shame Joey didn’t use this one more and would have loved to see how he would have customized this one) 2. Left Behind 83 (classic Joey look updated, awesome backstory, and doing the Joey-style Cuddles variant made me appreciate this design more) 1. Gods of Metal 83 (you put it perfectly) Honorable Mentions: Death Mask, Blue and Weird Iowa 83s, Stitchmouth

Lip dot self titled Is my all time favorite. The blank mouth, and the way he did the eyes on it is so creepy sic to me. And in no order the rest of my top 5 are his debut ahig, the GoM, the bloody iowa, and the blank cesar. I have the mfkr, I need the rest. Used to have the GoM but I gave it to a joey super fan for his birthday last year 🤘🏻🤘🏻

It's one of the only masks that is used quite frequently in iowa and self titled. It survived multiple repaints and designs. It's easily the most used Joey mask in slipknot history.

S/T and IOWA beats anything they wore post IOWA. They may not have been the optimized masks for playing in, something they'd iron out/simplify with time. But it was their own creation and not something made for them. A far cry from what they look like now...and sound lol 1998-2002 will always be my favorite era of Slipknot.

To think this man literally took a generic 5 dollar mask and drew on it to turn it into a icon of the metal world. Joey Jordisons mask collection is nothing to scoff at, and I shall forever enjoy the feel of the masks he made himself. Vol 3 and AHIG just don’t do it for me because it takes away the self made charm his masks had. Either way you cannot go wrong with a Joey Jordison mask period
