Bentonville local here. I LOVE your videos!!! You don’t try to show off a bunch of fancy moves, you just try to show people places to go and inspire them to get out and try it. Hands down my favorite MTB RU-vidr!! Thank you!!
What a BOON! Thanks for this. I'm headed to a wedding in Eureka Springs so I'm going early solo to ride for a few days before the family comes. This is perfect. Off to Nebo, I guess!
Next time your here in Arkansas i would love to show you around some trails that i think are even better than the stuff in NWA! We have more than 20 miles in Little rock of some super good flowy trails and a ton more trails in Hot Springs!
Living in Fort Smith AR puts me between NWA and central AR. I’ve been to almost all the areas (haven’t done Eureka Springs yet) and do agree that there are great systems in central. Nebo, of course, is the best. I also like Northwoods in Hot Springs and River Mountain in Little Rock. Even though it has fewer miles than some, River Mountain was just a fun set of trails.
Hey Brian, I just wanted to say congratulations! I'm not sure if you've already made an announcement or if you're choosing to keep your engagement under the radar, but much respect either way and we're all very happy for you guys! You two are really great together!
This video is spot on. Glad you enjoyed your time and thank you for showing what Arkansas is building and a reason to bring commerce to this state. I've ridden majority of these and Mt Nebo is it.
I’m here in Arkansas now for 4 days. I took your advice and rode 4 of the 5 you recommended. I did Lake Leatherwood along with Passion Play instead of Slaughter Pen. What a great time. Thanks for what you do.
Ok 52 seconds into the video I see a ring 💍 on Sarah’s hand did I miss this from a previous video???? Great detailed video as usual I have loved watching this whole series of Bentonville Riding
Thanks Brian! Great video - definitely want to go there but it's a tough place to get to with a bike (I'm in PA). Are there places to rent decent mt. bikes in town?
Dude, I just went down for a day trip and clocked a strava segment right behind you at little sugar (bs: follow the road). I'm gunning for it next time bkxc!
Bentonville local here and we met when you were sessioning the lower part of All American with Rich. There is Soo much good stuff that it's hard to ride it all in one day. The mantra was stay the weekend now it's more like stay a week or 2 to get a lil bit of every single trail system just in the NWA region let alone Arkansas.
If you want to float the Buffalo River you better check ahead with a professional tour outfit. There is a specific season that is best. Too late in the year and it could be very dry and dragging your canoe quite a bit of the way. If you get it during the rainy season it can be extremely! dangerous! The Buffalo River is the oldest National Park in America and floating the Buffalo River has been a favorite pastime for hundreds of years.
Nice video, those trails look amazing. The whole riding from door thing and endless trails on your doorstep is whole reason so hard to leave Wellington in NZ trails everywhere. So good just jumping on bike and being on trails without a drive.
Fit like from Aberdeen. Get back to Scotland with Mctrail Rider for some more amazing content. And yet again another great promotion for the trails you ride!
I have wanted to visit there but requested to join a Facebook group and let me say they won't accept me. I'm Asian so I will assume that is why. I will not visit there because I have a strong feeling the south is racist. Please help me change my mind.
Hi Brian. I'm from Brazil and after watching all the Bentonville videos I'm already wanting to live there... hahahaha at least I hope to meet them soon. Greetings.
@@BikeLifewithRob heheheh I can convince my family easily, I don't have enough money, I wouldn't even know what to work with there. Good luck to you. greetings
Appreciate this video it made it so much easier in deciding what trails to ride. Wasn’t able to get to Mt Nebo but road BOC Ponka. I rode it on a Friday and I was the only one out there. The guy giving the shuttle said I’d probably be the only rider they get today and it’s like that all the time. I guess they don’t get many riders out there at all which was very surprising because of the elevation of those trails. Hard to beat 20 bucks for a shuttle!
Thanks for that video! Heading out next week to Bentonville for some MTB fun. Only staying four nights though, and this helped narrow my rides down. Love the videos!
does BK have a bike check on his new bike? I'm wondering how much travel he's packing. Would this area be ok with a big travel enduro bike 180/170mm or would that be overkill?
I LITERALLY am taking some "time off" this labor day to head there with my son to be 75yr old father who got me into the sport of EMTB'ing! This'll be our first time going there which'll be an early b-day present for my father and I'll get to see an old friend from the Navy (meet 25 years ago!) in Fayetteville as well as hopefully take in some of the sights! Any suggestions of MUST see attractions other than the trail riding and should we get any protective gear as both of us have been on bikes since we were children and ride fairly efficiently but never REALLY got into MTBing until recently...???
Um...leatherwood harder than BOC?? No way. Nope. Leatherwood has some true blue trails that rock. Maybe he didn’t hit the green and blue trails at leatherwood, but they exist!
@@lindsaycuster9558 haven't been there... I guess what makes Leatherwood insane is if you try all the black double blacks gaps, drops some are so high consequence. Some you don't even notice they're there cause you're flying.
thanks for uploading fresh videos brian! I ride mtb as an adventure because people like you exist! looking at jumps and flying bikes are boring same old trail for the rest of there lives! but u as mountain biker u travel and show all this great trails with backpack and stuff. not those skinny jeanes and hoodie m bikers.
What a great and so practical video. This enhanced my vacation. Not going to drive to some of the farther destinations but gave me great ideas. Thanks my Patreon dues came back to me. Thanks brother
Mt. Nebo is top on my list to do in Arkansas. Some friends and I rode Slaughter Pen and alot of the spur trails last November. I will definitely head back to Devil's Den also, it's been 25 yrs since I have ridden there.
Love the channel and the video... but isnt it weird that your top 5 mtb rides for bentonville includes 3 rides at least 1 hour away? Wouldnt it be better to include those at the end as "bonus rides"? I know you've been to tennessee for riding. You wouldnt say "5 best trails for Chattanooga" then send people to knoxville, nashville or atlanta... oh well.. Thanks for the other two suggestions for bentonville.
Thanks again Brian! Even though I live here, I haven't ridden all the trails you profiled - it gives me more to explore! I do think Nebo is awesome! It has something for everyone!
@@AmishHitman73.Archive why do you keep saying "obey the speed limit"? Are there a ton of speeder's making their way there, was the narrator not obeying the speed...???
@@anthonypierce5850 "ton of speeder's making their way there" yup 80 mph in 25 i see it more and more everyday. cops have been here lately putting a stop to it after 3 years of doing nothing much. before covid, you could hardly get across the street without having to jog across briskly. not the town it used to be
50 state shred was dope, but this focused adventure was incredible. Also loved the dual mic set up of the last few rides and this recap was perfect. Thanks for giving an ideal home base location and your breakdown of places to go depending on time you have. Great stuff man!!
Took the family there last week. Just missed you but had a blast. Didn't get to ride Coler because of the rain but still had fun on the wet weather trials in the area.
If it wasn’t for my injury’s this year I would head out there in a heartbeat! I’ve been riding and racing enduro style trails for the last year and I’m always looking for a trail to improve my skills. It looks AWSOME out there!
