+Deniz Ozturk Yes, minor injuries that last for a long time are no good. We want to heal this up. I definitely reccommend no heavy activity on it and go get it looked at by a physician. They will be able to tell you if you should rest on it, rehab, and the best course of action.
It's incredible to see how we've changed over the years, isn't it? I'm glad to see y'all have truly broke into your own since the good 'ol college days. Keep up the good work!
for the 4th push up there is the variation, where you after the dog position and swing into the pushup and after the cobra position, - then you just reverse from cobra back into pushup and then dog again. Like a swing dog to cobra and back and always the pushup in between - once from the front and once from the back. This is used in Judo for strength training.
Very helpful and inspiring! I've done only some of those until now. Thank you! When it comes to parkour training there is no such thing as "bad weather" though.
D'Ondrai - What made you start training Parkour, what was you're motivation to believe in you're self you can make it, and what inspired you to keep training to where you are now? - AlvinKaranu
how you make this looks easy !! wtf man , your body structure is so more athletic not like that of a bodybuilder yet you are very strong , bless you , impressed .
***** What do you recommend ? I literally do not want to go to a gym again , I am 29 now and I used to be a professional squash player, the only time I looked really big and bulky was when I was 19 but I like being athletic more than big, most body weight routines made me look smaller , normally they are burnout workouts like tabata and all of that.
I love your videos; very clear and informative. I must add that you are providing real education in your field as compared to some others who present noise.
can you guys give some advanced workouts for core? I watched your first core workout video and it really helped! But I need help taking the work a bit farther
Great advice & video. I do want to point out though that the wall push ups & hand stand push-ups should be taken with caution for beginners, if your balance & strength isn't up to par you may catch yourself crashing head first into the floor. Another push-up I'd like to recommend are push-ups between two objects, like chairs or wooden boxes or even push-up bars. This will give one a nice stretch to the chest as well as a greater range of motion. And last but not least are static contraction push-ups. Basically you take a push-up, lower yourself down to the midway point & hold it there until you can no longer hold it. These have been known not only to increase strength but also have a carry over effect in the number of repetitions you can do before failure.
Great video! Someone just told me about the diamond pushup yesterday so I have started doing that. I do the downward monkey every morning to wake my body up but I hadn't thought about the obvious addition of a pushup. Will be doing that from now on!
Hey guys love your videos, your stuff has helped me so much I owe it all to you. :) I've been training flips and have everything down pat except for the landing, can you please help me with some spotting techniques? that's where I think I'm going wrong...
I'm just curious, have you ever had any past injuries? I wonder with my shoulder that I'm trying to rehab and get strong if I will ever be able to perform these exercises. Bad ass video!
I used to be able to do a parlour roll/flip through a pair of swings at my local park, but, since I stopped going to park our lessons due to injury, I've totally forgot how to do it again.
where do you get those wristbands from that you wear in some of your vids (what are they made of)? because i don’t want to wear those big thick ones that i know from skating.. and also i’d like them to be really cheap or even be able to make them myself.. (if you’re talking stores - i live in europe) you guys could make a vid about that.. and one more question: i see you guys sometimes wearing those tight pants in your vids.. how does that work with all the movement you guys do? are they made of some stretch material? thank you for so much great content on your youtube channel!
I have learned a lot about technique and style by the tappbrothers....quick question, how are you supposed to "train" for parkour if there's no areas to train at?
Thank you so much. My friends and I have been struggling on things like the wall runs and most of the times the kong or monkey vaults. Can you do a tutorial on side wall rubs please.
I currently weigh 286. I've began to use a heavy bag regiment for my cardio and strength and I would love to incorporate parkour strength and flexibility training as well. Do you have any suggestions that will put to much stress on my joints while I'm on this lifestyle change.
Can you do a video on progression steps for learning a frontflip? I know how to frontflip on the trampoline but I want to learn it on the ground and when jumping off of something but I do not want to get hurt.
Starts out: "especially if you are a beginner" ... by PU #3: the super ninja push up :) Well of course :) And only AFTER you mastered that you can think about moving on to weight training.
I am planning to begin parkour soon and I have a question about the parkour guide on your website. I was curious to see if you need to buy it with your money or do you just sign up and see if you are eligible for one?
I like the ninja style bit, however when are you going to do a frontflip tutorial because I am scared of landing on my butt (I ve done that a few times).
since 3 months I have been training hard for the conditioning. I wanna make parkour my life. am 16. I really wanna become good traceur.I am just getting started. even 10 mins don't pass without me thinking about my dream. but I don't understand how much workout to do in one day. I also see no major muscle gain or fat loss.
Ill say 8 reps each for bulking n 12 for toning. If u wanna do all those 5 push-ups, man u dont wanna over-do it in one type of push-up. U need to spare some energy n stamina to do the rest. But if u still have left some strength, energy n stamina after the all those push-ups, u may start again with a few bonus reps in each push-up type.
