Yes, when I was like 12 I was surfing with my coach and someone had reported a shark in the water, so my coach pushed me in on a wave while he swam quickly, we got in perfectly safe, and no one on the beach was reportedly hurt, but we figured out later we were really close to not one shark, but three Blacktip sharks
Was surfing on some monster waves and ended up falling. I hit my head on some rocks and my memory stops there. I wake up in an ambulance and people are moving frantically around me giving me meds and getting my blood pressure etc. The pain was so bad I kept telling the EMTs just knock me out just knock me out. Anyways, I ended up needing a bunch of staples, painkillers after and was monitored for a week and a half before being released. It was one heck of a month and I still experience complications to this day.
It’s mind-boggling to me that some adults can be so nosy and disrespectful of an emergency taking place that they disregard whether it’s appropriate for their children to be watching a person in a dire situation and how it could scare them… all those little kids gathered around in clip 3 was so upsetting if they’re there then their parents probably are too 😕😕 If you or someone you loved was in a crisis I’m sure you wouldn’t want an audience but instead compassionate and respectful privacy 😒 people can be so disappointing
the dislocated shoulder always reminds me of the one doctor who tried to pop his shoulder back in himself and even when it didnt work just walked off as if it was no big deal. it looks so painful. props to the lifeguard for all they do
I think it’s wrong when adults with their children gather around to watch someone fighting for their life. It’s so disrespectful and if I was in the position with kids I would be like don’t stair keep walking and if I was that person in clip 3 I would hate to have a crowd of 100 people starring at me
💜💜💜😑 I’m sorry I have to say it… that surfer Morgan on the last rescue was an absolute tool. 😒 He better hope the karma gods don’t do a role reversal on his trifling behind one day. Just… 🤦🏽♀️ SMDH 💜💜💜💜
If u have like three or two drones. To help out with search an rescue an help out with shark invasions. Bird's eye view will bring much needed help in the rescue u guys do. The real Baywatch in real life... Let's go Bondi life savers! Cheeehoooo!!!
Yeah you can. You've just gotta read the room and make sure it's when they aren't super busy or helping someone. Just be respectful with your timing is all.
God bless every person ever who has held somebody up in the ocean or carried someone out of the ocean. Lifeguards are essential but without the good samiaritans… I fear that most people would drown. Especially on a busy beach like Bondi.
This is certainly not fun for anybody to be going through such thing. particularly for the lifeguards they have to deal with very very extreme emotional situations. I'm always watching this channel and supporting you guys' cheers from William. Mount Gambier, South Australia.
Really though? You don’t have to get after him like that he knows he messed up, he said he couldn’t do anything about it in the moment and you have to trust that when you are in a dangerous sport like that. You don’t get the right to ruin someone’s mental health with guilt when you took the risk to join the sport and enter the ocean in the surf zone. I’m sorry he got hurt, Morgan is sorry he got hurt, but it’s his own responsibility to know the risks of even being on the field just like any other athlete. I’m taking line drives to the face am I making them pay for my uniform because I had to go to hospital? No! I have to buy my own uniform from the start so did that guy and correct me if I’m wrong but there’s no special “surfer’s insurance” is there? Because it’s your own responsibility to join the sport responsibly! The guy didn’t go over him on purpose and he’s helped him out every minute afterwards like what more do you want from poor Morgan than his life because that seems to be what everyone wants coming after him like that on the beach.
