Another informative short game video expertly taught Clay. This rotation into the left arm is another reinforcement of the straight line release And really ties in with your other videos explaining how to get that body open and the forward shaft lean. These techniques really work my divots are always ahead of the ball now.

I like seeing the follow through finishing high on the shorter distances (65, 50yds). It reminds me of Phil Mickelson's lesson on the 50 yd golf shot. _"You want to accelerate into the finish. That gives me _*_aggressive contact._*_ If we are decelerating or slowing down because we've taken the club back too far, you have no chance to be consistent or successful."_

Hi Clay, your game changer comment to feel like swinging 45 to the right while opening the hips to not come over the top (or pull), really is a game changer. Seems like that would apply to all full shots as well. Is this correct? Thanks!

The forward shaft lean makes sense, could have used this yesterday. I came up short on a few holes from 85 yards. As a lefty I have been hitting my wedges to the right of the pin. I have checked my alignment and grip, do you have any suggestions?

Feel like you're holding the face more open at impact and/or weaken the grip.

The best tip in golf is that the swing is all in your torso. It's like a pendulum. Do not move your head and hit the club face square. That's it.

@@ukrobochips8817 I was pitcher too. I'd look away for a split second in my windup so when I looked back at my target I was focused on it. You're right: I didn't move my head there either.

@@Strik.9 We dont play much Baseball in England. But the motion of throwing a ball is pretty close to what the best players are doing. Right elbow in tight as the waist lead the way after shifting to the front foot. Love it! Shot 95 today and it felt good haha Good luck Joel M

UK Robochips Yes. But the throw is more underhand like skipping a flat rock on the water which I find gets my trail hand in a better position.

My SW goes 85. So an 80 yard shot would be a smooth SW for me. 🤷‍♂️
