I will never understand Pikachu's level. I mean, it beat an Onix with an electric attack, and helps Ash beat the highest level gym leaders and everything, but then suddenly it loses to a petty little Snivy. Just....what?

Funnily enough, over ten years later in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire you actually CAN go to space and catch Deoxys. Did the internet trolls predict the future, or did Game Freak steal the idea?

There needs to be a hack where all the rumors are possible

Why would you want to go to a place to get a bunch of Charmanders, Squitles, and Bulbasaurs, if you need Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur to get there? LOL

Assuming for a second that Red and Ash really are brothers and part of the same universe. So, if Red really was Ash's older brother and sent back his Pikachu to protect and help Ash, then how did he know Ash would even get it? Ash wasn't supposed to get Pikachu. He was supposed to get a regular starter Pokemon, but overslept and arrived too late. You telling me Red knew Ash was gonna oversleep on that fateful day and end up with Pikachu?

When I was in 3rd grade I fell for a rumor that you can catch Piplup in the pond in Twinleaf Town, Turrtwig in the patch of grass in the lake with Mesprit, and Chimchar on route 201. All in Diamond and Pearl. I had Diamond. Good times.

I love every single Pokemon Theory, no matter how ridiculous it sounds.

Voltorb/Haunter is actually a pretty alright theory. All the other ones, though, those are stupid.

I think it's cool how the delta episode gave a nod to that last theory. You know, when you fly into space on rayquaza and encounter deoxys. It's cool to see Nintendo doing that sort of thing for its fans.

One of the weirdest rumours for me was in gen 4, you had to walk 1000, maybe it was 10,000 steps to encounter a wild Jirachi on Iron Island... uh... wat?

The Red and Ash being brothers theory actually has some weight now that Pokémon Origins is a thing.

What about the Coma theory? Where Ash was in a coma and the entire anime was just a dream? I find that the worst because it makes watching 18 seasons a big waste of time and if that theory comes true, it would be a deus ex machina that retconned the entire show. And how can Ash be in a coma for seventeen years? A coma that long without waking up to eat would kill a person. So, I think that's the worst theory.

This number one theory in this video is actually true now in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It is not the exact same as the original "go to the moon" thing, but it is almost close enough because u go to outer space. No spoilers since not everybody has played the game and it's arguably the best part of the R/S remakes.

Wait... I think I got this. Red/Ash might has Multiple Personality Disorder where there are 2 completely different people residing in one body. Since they have different personalities but the same pokemon, maybe they do have that disorder...? I dont really know though, really.

What's really funny about the second one, the one with the Electabuzz and the three starters. It sounds so obscure to be true and is clearly fake. However, it reminds me of how one is supposed to catch the three Regi-monsters in Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. You need to have two RANDOM set Pokémon, with absolutely no hints in game, in the front of your party and the back of your party, and be able to read braille...

awsome video, one rumor i fell for when i was a kid was during gen 1 (back when anything over 151 pokemon was ridiculous bullshit), i was told if i had a kanghaskan and a pikachu in my party, beat the elite 4, nine times, and left my gameboy on for 5 hours straight, the 2 pokemon would give birth to a Maril, all it did was teach me not to waste double A batteries so quickly -_-

Since you had an image of that theory that claims Psyduck and Golduck's names are the wrong way round, I felt it necessary to say this, especially since they were clustered with the theories I assume you said are believable. Pokemon came from Japan. So basically, if you can say the same about their Japanese names, it should be true. Golduck's Japanese name is Gorudakku, which is pretty much the same thing. However, Psyduck's name is Kodakku, which basically means small/young duck, and that is exactly what Psyduck is. In other words, Psyduck and Golduck's names weren't switched round by accident. It was all intentional.

Well, the Voltorb Theory is quite interesting if you know another fact. In Kanto, The Power Plant (where Voltorb was "created") and Lavender Town (Where lots of ghost pokemon are, so Haunter) are reasonably close. So if you know this fact, it does get a little different.

The rumor about Bill's house I heard growing up was if you bring him a Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon all level 100. You can catch Mew behind his house. I never heard about the Vermilion Truck hiding the mew rumor until a few years ago. I didn't know about the Yoshi thing until today. That's a very good troll by Nintendo.

Well actually, in the manga, which is based on the games, red captures a Pikachu.

The best theory I ever came up with was that Ash don't age because someone used an everstone on him.

Here's some info into the "Mossdeep space center" rumor. That guy who tells you how many successful launches there were is just telling you how many weeks (in real world time) you have been playing on that file.

Someone mentioned a theory that Pikachu in the anime was abandoned by a previous trainer, which would explain why he's more powerful and iffy about Ash in the beginning. I fell for the moon thing too.

Also, why do people get mad when Pokemon look similar to other Pokemon anyway, calling them "unoriginal" "ripoffs" and such? I mean, when you go to say, Africa you would see certain kinds of birds but if you went to Asia you would see different birds. I can't see why it wouldn't be the same in the Pokemon world IMHO, considering a lot of Pokemon are based on animals. Purrloin isn't unoriginal, it's Unova's version of cat like Meowth to Kanto.

Thank-fucking-GOD someone put the Red and Ash theory in the dumping ground! Even if we want to ignore the separate canons rule, the universes just don't add up. Giovanni is defeated by Red, but that wouldn't fit in with Ash's following adventures where Giovanni is still at large and repeating many of the same schemes he did when Red was around, unless you want to disregard HG/SS canon about the Rocket grunts trying to revive a dead Team Rocket and bring Giovanni back to their side… Oh, and also, the whole thing was written to say "Ash is so retarded. Red was the REAL hero." We can talk about whether this is true or not all day, but when a whole theory is written around it, it just becomes immature.

Reminds me of a long time ago when I had this friend who was into Pokemon too. He said that Suicune could evolve into something called Diamondseye (yes, that's one word) which was basically a red version of Suicune that had an eye floating in the middle of it's diamond and the only way to defeat it was to attack said eye. We tried it but of course nothing happened and we eventually gave up.

You dan get deoxys by a event, the event gifes you a stange map that makes you go to its island, but first here are some things: you can get the map by the event or just use cheats, and there is an triangle puzzel once you get there

Wait wait wait. There IS a way to get into bills secret garden, and it's NOT a gameshark. All you need to do is use safari zone glitch stuff to walk through walls. (Google "Let's glitch pokemon yellow", missingnoxpert has some pretty cool stuff) Trust me, I've been there (not that there is anything there)

I remember trying and failing to catch Deoxis by taking that rocket to the moon, but my favorite part about that rumor was that years later, in a remake of ruby and sapphire, you got to work with that space center, catch a Mega-Rayquaza, and fly into space where you could actually catch a Deoxis...

To be honest, I actually enjoyed this video. A video for the worst rumors made for an interesting and funny video.

I think red might be ash's father... It'd explain why ash's mum potentially hooked up with professor oak (lol), why they look similar, why ash loves pokemon and also, if your not convinced, ash's mum said it took ash's father the same amount of days it took red to get to the first location. (my mind had a blank, sorry. :P) Also... I don't think some of these theories are that bad. Like the haunter voltorb one makes sense as haunter could easily have posessed a pokéball. Its better then thinking that voltorbs a design on its own anyway -_-''

I remember being told you had to beat the elite four 100 times on emerald and then you can board the space rocket in Mosdeep. It took me soo long to do it and im ashamed to have fallen for it haha
