Top 5 Worst Supernatural Season 8 Episodes 

My top 5 5. Heartache. I'm not a sports fan and wish we had a deeper look for Sam coming back into hunting and his heartache losing Ameila. 4. Southern Comfort. I feel using the coin tied to a vengeful spirit to justify Dean to lash out his anger on Sam is dumb. 3. Man's Best Friend With Benefits. I love the concept more than the execution. 2. Freaks and Geeks is too predicable for a concept that should have gone deeper. 1. Remember the Titans. Feels like a forgettable waste of Greek mythology potential when bringing it in the world of Supernatural.

If you want to save brain cells, skip the next season and go straight to season 10. Absolutely nothing interesting happens story wise in season 9….. Well okay, the Mark of Cain, but that is about it

5 Everybody hates Hitler 4 Freaks and geeks 3 bitten 2 Taxi driver 1 Man's best friend with benefits Are the worst episodes in the season.

I fully agree about #2 and #1 because those episodes are really skippable, but I have to disagree about Henry Winchester/Grandpa Winchester not having too much reaction about things because, you know, he's a men of letters he's supposed to be calm and collected.

I'm glad you're bringing up the negative aspects of Season 8, people seem quick to diss on seasons 6 and 7 but I'll take a "bad" season over a boring one, the first half of season eight is a slog for me to get through. Between the unnecessary drama, the out of character stuff, the direction going to the more soap opera look, etc. These 5 episodes you mention are the core of my issues with the entire season.

I remember hating the bitten episode oh my god 😭😭

Not surprised that the bitten episode is number 1 i really couldn't find anything likable about it

My top 5 worst list and what could've been done to change it 5) Clip show: On first watch its tense but really on rewatch you just notice all the stupid decisions made because the plot said so. Also all those deaths were in vain one they resumed their partnership with Crowley, I did love Crowely up till the second half of season 12 but again it makes all the deaths and dram he caused this episode feel hollow. 4) Man's best Friend with benefits: Its not the dog familiar thing but the fact they act like this witch cop is an old friend no someone new, once more they introduced an interesting world building with this witch set up but its never mentioned again. I wish the show would incorporate more friendly monsters and their community's like the show Grimm. Also the brothers l=side plot felt repetitive. 3) We need to talk about Kevin: This episode felt so bland. Sam suffered major character assassination, even if you excuse Dean you can't with Kevin, its made worse when you look closer and realize that Sam doesn't even look or act guilt stricken over what happened to Kevin. The thing I would change would be the same for the Ameila & Sam relationship, if their had been one flashback showing a devastated Sam, disheveled and on the edge, it would've made us care more and be more invested in Ameila and how she helped him. Same with Kevin, just have a flashback in any episode show him devastated over failing Kevin along with grief over Dean and have him in the present be visible upset and guilt ridden when he realizes Kevin is alive, Let him have a breakdown of feeling overwhelmed in failing Kevin Dean and failing his relationship with Ameila. Sam is WAY to calm throughout this whole episode and its just not believable or entertaining 2) Taxi Driver: after watching your reviews I changed my mind about this episode. Nothing about it makes sense continuity wise and really Bobby is the only reason fans praise it. The second trial should've been something different but if was still free a soul from hell then it should've had two episodes dedicated to it and have Cas involved since you know he has experience with getting souls out of hell. Also maybe instead of Bobby have the soul be Bell from season 3 or just someone new character. 1) Citizen Fang: This episode made me so mad, honestly just having Sam as a jealous petty jerk but what's worse he never truly apologizes for his actions this episode. What's worse is the writers try to even the playing field by having Dean make that fake distress call, first off it doesn't Sam is still WAY more in the wrong than Dean but as you've pointed put it makes no sense that Dean would do this or think this far ahead also you've mentioned the Caller ID issue. And yeah Sam is a jerk and an idiot for leaving Marvin without a word rather than just calling "Ameila". The only way this episode could've been fixed is if Dean didn't make the fake call and Sam went along with Marvin's plan and Benny's granddaughter got caught in the middle of it and almost died or actually died serving as a wake up to how wrong Sam had been, but that sounds too harsh and dark even for a show like this.

Taxi driver was bad and added things to the lore that were unessary, plus killing benny was bad. Everyone hates Hitler was a good idea but fell short. Bitten was boring. Southern comfort was not a good episode at all. Man best friend with benefits is the worse episode of the season. In my option and matter how much of a good spin you try to put on it the shape shifting fimlar and witch sleeping together is just yuck.

Even though castiel and crowley do shine yep the slice of kevin episode is bad

Bitten is one of the only episodes i even liked throughout the entire season😭
