Just wanted to thank you Patrick! I first saw your channel in early May, May 4th to be exact lol. I watched your interview prep videos to help me prep and find places to interview. After interviewing with several companies got a job offer about 1 month ago with an awesome tech startup. I love there product! Week 3 weeks into the job and already sold some SaaS! Loved that gentle pull back on the racehorse analogy, it really made the advice feel sincere. I think it’s important in sales to strike the balance of putting yourself in the mindset of extravagance when it comes to supporting your personal growth, and being your own champion without letting it go to your head.

I've been having two phones for a very long time, it definitely helps to separate life & business. When I get into tech sales I'll definitely be adding that third phone, 😅😅😅.

spot on regarding sleep. I always make sure I stick to a 7-8 hours night sleep to make sure I can function on a daily basis. If I show up with low energy, it affects my team and the clients I meet.

I had 2 phones more than 10 years. And hated that in fact. My wow discovery was dual sim phone - if I want I can turn off work number whenever I want. I off also all notifications, so Teams and all apps are silent. But one phone is one place where I got everything - contacts, infos, maps, private and work projects. I don’t have to switch and take 2 of them. For me it was game changer
