My issues in halo mp always boil down to being in two people’s crosshairs at once, no matter how cautious i am. Somehow im always outnumbered, and it reflects extremely poorly on me.
I think you may be soloing way too often, that used to happen to me, 2 weeks ago i started to think more about taking advantage of team play and it works even if your team sucks/doesn't communicate, just having them lowering the enemy shields by your side can grant you a double, triple or even an overkill if timed properly.
@@FiscoInferno Yeah, i understand this guy, like i want to solo too, but after the 3th or 4th death i see that 3 of the other team are constantly teaming, then there is when i say "Okay, so this is how its going to be" and i go team too. But i also prefer being solo. My friends are the same, they just team up if its necessary. Not like some people that i see in many if not most lobbies that almost go hands together like a group of toddlers that don't want to get lost LOL 😂😂😂
man I wish every random watched this video. Simple concepts that are basics for Halo as an individual whether playing ranked or social. so many wannabe heroes in Halo. If I had a nickel for every time I said "3 dead on our side. It's all good. Let's group back up and make a push for ______" only to have the one left on our team push alone and die instantly and then the other two spawn on opposite sides of the objective and die as individuals simultaneously. Then it's me spawning alone in the world and waiting for teammates to spawn so we can try and make a play together. As a result I have less kills but also I have dramatically fewer deaths. If randoms could simply understand that your life is the FIRST objective and that team fights are absolutely critical in the preservation of your and your teammates lives then halo would be a more seamless competitive environment. alas, in the midst of the diamond ranks you still see players relying on aim and lucky plays rather than team work and map control. That leads to inconsistency.
Oh god this a thousand times. So many times players run around with the score racking up against us and they appear to make no change to their approach. Just keep charging in to the fight and hope to come out on top. Seems to happen most often in Bazaar for some reason
There are 3 types of weapon pick ups. Non power weapons are divided in: Powerful non-power weapons and regular non-power weapons. Power weapons and powerful non-power weapons will start the spawn time again until the last iteration runs out of ammo. regular non-power weapon's spawn time start as soon as you pick them from the rack. edit: grammar
@@FiscoInferno There's always a toxic factor to games. I like to win in social, I'm not going to stop doing call outs and such because it's how I play, much like how high end comp players going in to Quickplay, we all have our styles of play. There's bound to be someone better then you round the corner but then you can be better then someone else

Dang dude halo is such a mental game. Whenever I get tilted as you call it I play horribly and make such bad decisions trying to get revenge kills. It’s tough to get out of that mindset but your advice is good.
INSTANT tilt for me is playing ranked and AUTOMATICALLY you are down a team member so you playing a team of 3 on the worst modes to be down a member Strongholds/CTF. It took me 1 month to get from GOLD to PLATINUM because 80% of my games I had 3 player teams on those modes and I kept deranking over and over.
I feel like people genuinely need actual lessons in how to play the objective gametypes. People just run in a circle on strongholds with no thoughts except cap the next stronghold... oddball people just ignore the ball or just die over and over running at ball, or rotate towards enemy spawns, or just run away from a set up and die...flag you have people who just don't understand what to do, kinda like oddball
One thing I’ve found is when you find yourself in an engagement, particularly from a bit of a distance, if you’re behind cover people tend to expect you to peak same spot again. Relocating wether getting a quick flank or just a slightly different angle gives an edge over them. Obviously this can be situational depending on where allies or enemies are around you
I need to stop when I start to tilt. I know that sounds stupid but I am plat 5 and idk why but just started doing bad getting less and less always after a6 game lose streak I noticed I only got 3 looks the last few games. I took a break and collected my thoughts and won the next 7 games to get plat 6. Tldr put down the remote when you need a break lol
Do you have any tips for people who get into a losing streak? How to break out and gain confidence etc? At the moment I'm feeling kinda stuck with it. It feels like I'm pouring my heart and soul into every game and hardly getting anything out of it
This is fucking great advice. I've been terrible for over-committing, whether it be to objectives or denying pickups etc. I'm probably going to watch this again before my next playthrough.
Tip 1 should to not play in Australia. You will spend most of the time playing on overseas servers with 120+ ping haha PS this is a joke. The video is really good.
Being onyx is great and all but after some level no one uses their mics. Everyone in the high diamond or < 1600 onyx uses their mics -- maybe bc they can four stack. But the biggest tip must be to turn on your mics as a solo queue, especially > 1600. Competitive Halo is undoubtedly about INFORMATION. Use thy mic.
I have the feeling, that most of the people , even in platinum ranks don't know how to play stronghold... when we already have 2 zones, WHY CAN'T YOU JUST DEFEND THOSE TWO ZONES????????????????????? WHY DO YOU PUSH THE 3RD ZONE ON YOUR OWN AND DIE????????????? Never had a game made me so angry playing it alone, I swear... It's so frustrating...
Solo que sucks. Ive had games where i was the only one calling or talking all game. Then at the very end when the match ended i hear gg great callouts. Like wtf thanks for the radio silence and 0 map info.
