Gears 3 was easy af on Insane.....

I’ve beaten the entire trilogy on insane and I can say for sure that the barg part in this game is by far the hardest most frustrating part of all the games and that’s saying something. I literally had to look up a guide and even then it’s almost complete luck. The trick is staying behind the building in the middle at the right angle where you MIGHT NOT get hit by the explosions. Even then you’re constantly being flanked by elite Therons. I never wanna do that again 💀

The zipwire bridge section is ass. So is the armored kantas with the serapedes and the queen mira fight. I raged so hard on those sections.

Individuals like arrogant Don Mattrick were given a leadership role for Xbox,while he knew nothing about gamers or gaming. Phil has been trying to relight that spark since then, with MS board of directors leading decisions. Rare, is an impressive studio who have not received the praise they truly deserve. Co-op play is why I choose Xbox as my platform of choice. Single only experiences, to me, makes inline connectivity worthless, which is why I rarely use my PlayStation.

I also believe that some of this busy-ness that is impacting everyone nowadays is having some impact for online games. Most people feel there are not enough hours in the day to do EVERYTHING they want/have to do so when we do have a chance to play and relax that's at freaking 11pm after a day full of responsibilities you definitely don't have the energy to talk and engage in conversations with strangers

Let's face it, consoles (BOTH SONY AND MICROSOFT) are DYING.FACT! Most PS4 owners have NOT upgraded and do NOT plan to.(FIRM FACT!) PS owners DON'T want to play anymore updated versions of older games. Millions of gamers got tired of playing the same old tired single player RPGs on Sony that got boring REALLY QUICK. Millions of gamers are tired of streaming older games on Playstation without real backwards compatibility. FACT. Only Nintendo will be standing in a few years. P.laystation IS dying (YES DYING!) and GamePass WILL put consoles out of business the same way Netflix put Blockbuster out of business! FACTS. PS5 is a waste of money at this point. I sold mine a few months ago for a Switch that I can play both on television and on the go, with far better exclusives than any of Sony's and I haven't looked back. Sony picked a lousy time to charge $500 when it was released during the pandemic and nowadays people aren't wasting their money with inflation so high. Until Sony drops the PS5 price by half, less people will upgrade which means third party titles will continue to be made on BOTH the Xbox One and the PS4 until the current consoles come down in price. THAT A FACT! That's why PC gaming will eventually put console gaming out of business. Sad but true!

Man my younger brother and I would go through insane on all of the gears of war games. It was like as soon as we beat gow 1 on insane it was the expectation moving forward and the rest of the installments.

Im currently playing through the Gears trilogy again. Dusted off my old Xbox360 after 8 years and I had to check my achievements if i had the solo insanity achievement. I have it, but i dont have the co-op one. Ao I did it solo too.

When online blew up, that’s when things slowly started going down. Less attention for single player “the roots of gaming” and creative greed for things “mostly online mp”. I sort of despise online MP for the overall negative effect on gaming as a whole.

i did this same run back in 2012-2013 when i was about 10 or 11, i finished it but boy i never attempted another solo insane campaign again 😂
