Me too. They were great when their topic was cars. In GT it was just old men trying to be funny and it was often just embarrassing. Apart from a few good documentaries about racing heroes and car brands.
@@shintaruGT3 funny thing is the specs of the sls amg were better than its successor the amg gt back when it came out. maybe now with the latest amt gt-r they have made it faster, but back when it launched it had a lower top speed, lower 0-60 and was half the price of the sls, basically a sports coupe vs a supercar.
Fun Fact: US DOT regulations require a bit of extra space before the engine and wheels in front engine mounted cars acting as a crumple zone, so if the car hits a person, there's a little crunch room to absorb the impact and reduce the injuries of the person. That's why a lot of newer cars have a lot of overhang in the front and the SLS has that crazy amount of space in front of the engine.
@@konstantinosprouskas8106 the tires are in front of the engine, you chop off everything in front of the engine, you've just removed the section of the car where the front tires are/ were. Simple.
@SP If you call cars like the Carrera GT, Cayman GT4, 959, 917 or 919 boring you either dont know Porsche well or you don't know much about cars in general

And boulevard press also like drama. Completely normal. But problematic are the ppl who believe them without questioning their mindset first. As the manufacturer will say there is no safety related issue and family will say no you have to look for the opinion of an unrelated third. As there was no evidence of safety issues found, the controversy is never mentioned again in any youtube video, Wikipedia entrys or review of the Carrera GT. So for you there is an exciting Porsche and who cares what you think is exiting or not. For me speed and engineering is exiting, not only the red color ;)

The Bristol Fighter came with a strap for the gullwing doors as standard, and an eight litre V10 engine. It was also a functional hatchback with folding rear seats so you could get stuff in, and air suspension so you could lift it on rough surfaces. The Fighter T version was reckoned to be capable of 272 mph. Mercedes SLS? Pah!!!
"It could've ended there!" I think his near-fatal crash killed 50% of his brain cells. Did he not notice the MASSIVE radiator? How much heat does a 6.2 liter V8 engine produce? It's not like the front of the SLS is completely empty. Empty like the front of his 911 where the engine is at the back and the front is just a glorified trunk/boot.
and yet a truck with a 26 liter v8 is shorter then that yes it has a bigger radiator but still, they just extended it because it would look stubby and weird otherwise.

the first time i saw a sls...........was at a golf course i used to work at, same color just red interior and the whitest old guy stepped out so slowly
The Ferrari and Porsche owners are laughing all the way to the bank. As the SLS has depriciated by 40%, while the 458 and 911 GT3 RS has actully risen in value!

I love that those doors, for safety reasons, are fitted with explosive bolts that are designed to fire should you roll the car. So the whole time you’re driving with a bomb over your head 😂
This is pure joy watching them bikker pointlessly like children, any real man knows this is the correct and proper way to conduct yourself when surrounded by your mates.....while out of sight and earshot of your significant other.
The 997 GT3 RS may be a great driver's car, sure, but if you're not really into cars, you would just think whoever owns it is having a mid-life crisis with it's scaffolding and GT wing... The Ferrari and Merc look far more elegant and refined.
