my fav snap on tool of the year is the FU80B 3/8" chrome swivel. having a great quality swivel is just a life changer. also bought myself a FHF80AG for my bday as my daily driver ratchet. nothing compares to snap on ratchets i own every brand, i love the comfort grip.
Love the snap on 14.4 line. Wish they had a few more options to compete with the 12v Milwaukee but they have the majority of what I need. Now for 18v I think it’s Milwaukee or bust. Yes snap on finally came out with a balzy 1/2 inch gun but still. 1 year vs 5 year warranty and they still don’t have somthing to compete with the big 18v Milwaukee gun.
Congratulations on all your subs! I just subbed. Don't know why it took me so long, I've been watching your videos for a long time now. Thank you for showing your equipment, sharing your experience and honesty. Wish you the best of luck and success.
I agree on those Milwaukee fuel ratchets, I actually like the non fuel ones more because they’re a lot smaller, just wish they had the speed of the fuel.
Jed Mook couldn’t agree more. Have a buddy that had a bunch of the 12 volt Milwaukee stuff. Loved his little ratchets. Slow but oh well. The big fuels though are entirely too big
hey jim you mentioned that the snap on multimeter takes time to warm up....this meter works in sub zero temps, just takes a minute to do that after turning on.....its one of the only meter that i can keep in my vehicle and count on for use....all others take long time to work after being in the cold.....like the vid!!!
Definitely some great buys !! Sometimes you have to buy tools that just make the job easier. Definitely should help you out in tax season as a shop owner!!.
I have the smart smoke love it but they do not make an adapter for that battery. Dumb in my opinion state of the art smoke machine with yesterday's power supply. However they do make a 110v adapter to run it. I mounted that to me work bench infront of my bay.
Yeah I am one that buys tools with multi use capabilities in order not to load my toolbox and wasting space. I'm looking into the CT762 now and how much to trade up...
i seen a video by someone on here that was saying the 14.4 battery snap on line was not the best did they do some up grade to them that is why i went milwaukee for my stuff
I have several of snap on's 14.4V line. I have the 1\4" and 3\8" ratchets, the 1\4" and 3\8" small impacts and I love them. I use them daily. Makes my jobs a lot quicker and easier. Don't get me wrong, Milwaukee electric tools are good as well, but to me they just don't have the power or the torque the snap on ones have and I'm all about speed. It's not very often I have to use an actual ratchet and socket to get something done. Only times I can think of that are in really tight places where the electrics won't reach, regardless of who makes them. Snap on is my go to for power tools.
