I'd also recommend the Tol Barad tabard if you're interested in farming that rep. The camp that it spawns you in is basically a few feet from a SW/ORG portal so it works as a handy teleport there without fiddling with your item slots. It's especially great if you need to do some general traveling in EK and Kalimdor since it'll drop you right at the Cataclysm portal area.

That garrison hearthstone pays for itself, especially if you have the maxxed-out Trading Post with Auction House robot. No need for a Long Boi when you have an "instant hearth" to an AH.

Also worth mentioning that Druids, like Mages, have access to the dreamway portal, which can get you to your legion order hall and a few other dream entrances, which can be extremely handy for certain types of farms. I used to use the one to Northren for a slightly shorter flight to the dungeon where i farm the blue protodrake (weeks of farming and i finally got it!), i used the one to firelands for the dailies there and farming firelands raid, and i used the darkwoods one in eastern kingdoms to fly to zul gurub, both for the mount farms there and more recently for the ancient recipes that sell there;

If you like pet battles completing the pet dungeons gives you a bunch of portals that will teleport you to the outside of the various dungeons. I've used those portals quite a bit. But like I said you do have to complete the pet battle dungeons which will require you to have quite a few leveled pets to win all the different fights. I especially use the Stratholme one since I'm still farming the mount.

Ever-Shifting Mirror is my favorite teleporting toy by far. It allows you to teleport back and forth between Outland and corresponding Draenor places

Since this is most applicable to the Kalimdor Cup, I'll drop some of my ways to get around. Southern Kalimdor: Used to be the remotest part of the game. Now you can't swing a dead kodo without losing it in a portal. 1) Silithus - Easiest way to get there is a portal in the BFA portal rooms (Boralus has a portal room under the top level, Dazaralor has the portal room in the main hub under the throne room.) This portal drops you in front of the sword in the center of the zone. 2) Uldum - Stormwind and Orgrimmar have Earthshrines (a cluster of portals to the various Cataclysm zones) the Uldum portal drops you in the main city of zone. 3) Caverns of Time - In SW and Org main portal rooms there is one portal to the Caverns of Time. This can come in handy if you need to go to Tanaris or some place close to it. Drops you off near the mouth of the caverns. Central Kalimdor: For the Horde, central Kalimdor is easily accessible by flight point and cities (Org and Thunder Bluff). For the Alliance you have to get more creative. 1) Wailing Caverns - The Pet Dungeons is a secret teleporter to some far out spots on Azeroth. Usually, in Dalaran, Boralus, and Dazar there is a portal master at the pet shop. In this case, it will drop you at the front of the Wailing Caverns. 2) Theramore - This requires a mage, but you can port to the city on the east coast of Kalimdor and access a flight point from the middle of Kalimdor. 3) Ratchet - This isn't a short cut more like a long cut. Take any flightpoint in the Eastern Kingdom, fly to Booty Bay, take the ship to Ratchet. It can take awhile depending on where to start, but it will get you there. Northern Kalimdor: 1) The Mt. Hyjal portal at the Earthshrine is the obvious choice for Mt. Hyjal, Winterspring and Azshara. 2) Warfronts - Another BFA portal, but the major drawback is that it shifts from time to time between Horde and Alliance. The portal drops you off either in the Arathi Highlands or Darkshore. If you faction wins the warfront they also secure the portal for an amount of time. That's all for now. I hope you get to where you are going.

If you're trying to farm the Midnight mount from new Kara, you might as well do the quest chain that gives you the Violet Seal of the Grand Magus which will teleport you there. Originally it wasn't seen as very useful since we had a portal hub in the center of new Dalaran that included a Kara port. But since blizz detected fun once again, those portals are now gone, and the ring is now super useful for getting there.

I've used the [Fractured Necrolyte Skull] for a long time, but seeing the [Critter Hand Cannon] be used with it is something I didn't know about. I'm glad you opened with that. You can also use that teleporter along with [Ever-Shifting Mirror] to get to things like the WoD pet master Ashlei {free XP for alts}, or for a couple treasure hunter quests if you're getting Harrison Jones garrison follower on an alt. Probably not close enough to use to farm Rukhmar, better to have a ogre waygate for that, from your garrison mage tower / spirit lodge.

If you farm pets to sell, the Time-Lost artifact is a nice trinket to get you to the Timeless Isle. It’s sold from a vendor there if you are honored with Emperor Shaohao. Pet collectors also have access to Manapoof in the Dalaran pet shop. While not an item, the NPC can get you to 5 dungeons for a quick teleport.

I use most of the items mentioned in the video aswell as Jaina's locket, the blessed medallion of Karabor and for random teleportation I use neck item from shadowlands: Cartel Xy's Proof of Initiation and the option to teleport to random place from the Experimental Anima Cell toy.

The first thing i like to do on new alts is to do the intro to unlock the BFA capitals, because as of current patch, those two locations have the best assortment of portals for zipping around most continents, with the main capitals being within easy reach for further portals. Pair this with a vulpera mage, you can easily zip about and save your last location using the "make camp" ability (I recommend perhaps putting a camp near the cata portals for easy access to those zones). Furthermore, you can stack this with engineering profession + the Necrolord covenant for the kidney stone (if this still works). Its also worth noting to keep track of where the mythic + portals are for the current season, as they'll have portals to different places, including Shadowlands & WoD.

One that I find useful is the Teleport Scroll to the Theatre of Pain in Maldraxxus. The vendor for it is also not far from where it ports you, so you can always get another one. It also works no matter which covenant you’re part of, though obviously more useful for Necrolords. Sure it’s the Shadowlands, but if you have any business there it’s nice.

3 guild cloaks (8/4/2 hour cool down) - take up 3 bag slots, but when you need to be zipping around the world, totally worth it

A really key factor is that the guild cloaks *don't share a cooldown.* It is a rare day that I find myself with all 3, the 8, 4, and 2 hour cd items all on cd at the same time, but at that point I can start falling back on the dalaran hearthstone's 20min cd and slight run time to get to a portal room. I have yet to need fallbacks beyond that like the brawler's guild tele or potions of deepholm except on extremely rare occasions when farming certain old world content during holiday events. Direbrew's remote is currently broken to being totally nonfunctional and was patched at some point anyway to only take you to the entrance (acessible with the pet dungeon teleports from manapoof) instead of halfway into the dungeon at the inn so that item is unfortunately back to crammed in a corner of my bank. I also find that the teleporter Griftah sells that takes you to Stormsong combined with the conch from Nazjatar is a powerful combo since that'll get you near Mechagon, near the Horde transport to Zuldazar, and by flying directly into the ocean, directly to Nazjatar. Very very good for pet/rare farming in that expansion, especially if you're an Alliance wanting that bee mount.

I remember demonstrating the Fractured Necrolyte Skull and Critter Hand Cannon combination in front of a large group near the vendors of the Time Incursion Events. I also remember further back when I first got the Necrolyte Skull and realized the possible interactions between it and a critter spawner on command. I was so glad to prove it right during that experiment. It is finding interactions like this along with other fun stuff that made the game fun. But not anymore.

My favorite is a rogue specific item. It's a scroll that takes me to ravenholdt. It's very convenient during winter's veil, when it's during the anniversary and I need to get to a certain nightmare drake, and to get to the plaguelands.

Not sure if it was mentioned but the trinket Time-Lost Artifact will teleport to Timeless Isle (1min cooldown) and Pit Fighter's Punching Ring to Bizmo's Brawlpub in Stormwind.

I don't see it in the comments yet, but sorry if someone mentioned it already. For the Dal hearthstone, I don't think you need to do any quests to get it. I think all you have to do if you don't have one is get to Dal and ask the innkeeper for one. It's worked on all my alts before. Just go though the major city portal to Legion Dal and go to the Legerdemain and, I think, tell the innkeeper you lost yours. The one I'd add for sure, and it's one I get on all my alts, is the Tol Barad teleport tabard. This is the tabard all my alts wear. It takes a few days to get but it's very little time per day. Once you teleport to Tol Barad the teleport to Orgimmar or Stormwind is right there.

You refer to the Relic of Karabor which transports the user to the Path of the Light in Draenor? Revered with the Council of Exarchs and 2,500 gold from Nuurem in Stormshield.

There's a way for any Alliance player to have a permanent teleport to Theramore from Stormwind. The quest line starts with Jaina Proudmoore in pre-destroyed vanilla Theramore called Jaina Must Know. The follow up quest is Survey Alcaz Island, then the quest Proof of Treachery, which sends you to Stormwind to tell what you've learned. After porting to Stormwind and turning in Proof of Treachery, another quest is given called Return to Jaina which allows the mage at the bottom of the mage tower to port you back to Theramore. NEVER TURN THIS QUEST IN! Just keep it in your quest log, and you will always have a port from Stormwind to Theramore via that mage at the bottom of the mage tower.

Dalaran hearthstone doesn't need questing if you can fly. Go into broken isle through capital city portal room. Fly into dalaran then go talk to inn keeper infront of blacksmith. Choose her dialog mentioning you lost the dalaran hearthstone.

To add, you can also buy Jaina locket from ah of people that did shadowmourne and sold it. Its BoE, and it works on party.

there are 3 guild cloaks and all 3 teleport to your main city. the green one is 8hr CD, the blue one is 4hr CD, and the purple one is a 2hr CD. so you can stagger them and pretty much always have a teleport to org or sw

the Dalaran Hearthstone toy is even easier to get now I think, you just talk to an NPC in the inn

I miss the flightmaster's whistle. That was 1 grind I didn't mind. I wish we could have them in all the zones. I'd really like to have Jaina's Locket be an account wide thing instead of per toon. Most of mine cannot get this so I am bummed that at this point only my DK has it. The cloak is fantastic and I use it often when I'm popping around the world(s) completing quests or farming stuff. There's also the one that transports you to random places, like a tree in Stranglethorn, that's kinda fun. It has I think a 24 hour cooldown but I use fairly often.

It looks like the Scroll of Recall III doesn't work "as advertised" ... the rank I and II have a little warning in the tooltip that the result of a successful teleport may vary beyond level 49.... the rank 3 scroll does the same without having the warning tho :D used it twice as level 70 and ended up in crossroads and high in the sky above the swamp of sorrows.... so use at your own discretion xD Might be a funny gamba for streams tho

All three cloaks can give you 4 separate hearth cooldowns.

You can actually buy all three Guild cloaks and keep them because they all have a different cooldown and timer.

No, you should have all three guild cloaks, because they all have separate cool downs. Meaning you can use one, right after the other. 3 ports back to the portal room is invaluable.
