Dude! I like your office. But you are right by the Mall so no wonder you check the app for driving routes. About the only gridlock we have is Glenstone and Sunshine during rush hour. From the Mall though, you do have a bunch of egress routes. Skeeters: we have relatively few Anopheles here. This is nothing like MN. Total immersion in SkinSoSoft before hittin the boonies does it for most insects. Troop D (Highway Patrol) is here in Springfield. Don't drink and drive. They get real irritated by that. What did you miss: 1. Skunks and Opossums (locally known as possums). This will be a bad year for violin spiders. 2. When driving in Stone County, do not let a Turkey Vulture hit your car. It took heroic measures to remove the stench. Something is working, because now bears and mountain lions are seen occasionally here. One thing I don't miss: in larger cities it can take you an hour to get to your job site. Here, an hour puts you on the lake. Watch for deer.
You're right, it does get VERY busy here around 5:00. Other than Sunshine Street it's probably one of the worst areas! Also there are bears and mountain loins somewhere in Missouri??? 👀 Guess we will keep away from Stone county then! That's right next to Branson.
Do you read flashing light in Morse code, semaphore, and flag hoist? Does Missouri still offer combination driving/deer-hunting licenses? Asking for a friend. Potholes? Come to Indy if you want to see potholes. You ain't seen nuthin' yet. We rent them out as air raid shelters. Great video. Watch for deer.
I don't read any of those but I would certainly be impressed if you did!!! 😂 We don't have both a drivers and hunting license in one... instead you'll have to get a Missouri Conservation Card if you are wanting to hunt! I'm sure those potholes there are crazy! Haha, MODOT does pretty well keeping our streets together.
@@wiserlivingrealty I used to be able to read flashing light better than any of the signalmen on my ship, except one. I was so-so on semaphore, and not very good on flaghoist.
We were joking the other day how we would be pretty sure you would be able to understand Morse code (not the same as flags of course but I DO find it funny we joked about it!). What an interesting skill to have.
Hello Louise! Are you from Australia then? That's cool to hear someone from there is watching! 😁 It wouldn't surprise me if that were the case for kangaroos.
Wow!!! Well, you are welcome to stop in and say hi if you want! I think it would be our first person from Australia in general, much less the city of Melbourne!
