Good to see someone raise the concerns with DHEA and Estrone. A lot of guys are getting pushed to supplement DHEA based on research that is rather incomplete. I was one of those men, but quickly discovered that even mid-range DHEA causes my estrone to go through the roof, causing the most brutal insomnia imaginable (I basically couldn’t sleep at all).

It's important to be aware of the potential side effects of supplements like DHEA. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Hi BMH. Have you ever come across Test in the, "normal", range but still suffering from all the usual symptoms? Constant low mood, feeling of physical weakness, brain fog, emotional, irritability.., etc. Watched some vids that says what I believe, which is, one size does not fit all. Thanks in advance!

4 hydroxyestrone! Never heard of this being a concern before with regards to the conversion from dhea!, is this something we should test for can HCG convert into this?
@balancemyhormones
@balancemyhormones 5 месяцев назад
Yes, 4 hydroxyestrone is definitely something worth considering when it comes to the conversion from DHEA. It's always good to stay informed about potential concerns.

Do you guys have a test available for this?
@FreedomFox1

It’s real… DHEA gives me terrible insomnia unless I block estrone conversion with an AI. Granted, I’m an extreme case. But I think there at least needs to be more research before we decide that every man should all have high-normal DHEA.

Such a knowledgeable discussion. I have 1 question? Mike my total t is 500ng/dl,SHBG are55 nmol/L and when i calculate it comes to free t 1.43%.But i feel liw t symptoms low libido . What ur experience says are my free t in good range,because everywhere online have mentioned that 1% free t are good but on ur website have mentioned that atleast 2%to 5%. I hope u ll give some adivice. I m from Pakistan here big stigma about trt.But I have learnt alot from ur channel and ur websit BMH about trt.which is highly sciencebased and very professional knowledge. Thankyou

Thanks for your question! It's great to hear that you've found my channel and website helpful. In terms of your free t levels, it's important to remember that everyone's body is different and what works for one person may not work for another. While the general recommendation is 1% free t, I often suggest aiming for at least 2% to 5% for optimal results. However, it's always best to consult with a healthcare professional who can provide personalized advice based on your specific situation.

I’m new on using testogel. I got sacks with 50ml/5gr. I’m using half sack each day now for a week. I don’t feel much except small pain on my muscles, is this okay. And also I use smaller amounts, can I still get results and are the risks lower because of the smaller dosis?
@balancemyhormones
@balancemyhormones 5 месяцев назад
It's great that you're starting to use testogel! It's normal to experience some muscle pain when you first start using it. As for the smaller doses, it's best to consult with your doctor or healthcare provider to ensure you're getting the optimal dosage for your needs.

@@balancemyhormones is there a difference between both approaches? So bigger amount with injections or smaller doses?

I don’t like needles so could not self inject, what are the options for me ? Visit the clinic when needed so someone could inject me ?

If you don't feel comfortable self-injecting, visiting a clinic and having someone else do it for you is a great option! Your health and well-being should always come first.
