Great tip for Android users! Read reviews on Play Store first! If you want to get all advertised features buy yourself an iPhone or consider buying GOPRO Max instead! I'm tired of waiting for promised update/features. Judging by reviews in Play Store I'm not the only one! Since September we've got one update with "routine optimisation and improvements". Probably nothing was really done and update was pushed just to make it look like you're still working on it... Insta360 truly supports iOS and iOS ONLY!
Would love a demo of a 360 Live stream where we control what we see live. Not found a RU-vidr doing this yet. Personally, I want to Live stream for several hours to RU-vid without having to start another stream every time I change a battery. Any suggestions on a camera that can do that or is this something you guys have planned? Thank you
Redang Island off Terengganu in Malaysia has amazing beaches, white sands, sharks and turtles. i'll be heading there this April with a One R if all goes to plan.
Greetings excellent video. I have seen that there are optional batteries not certified by insta 360 but they have the same specifications, do you recommend them? Since I have not seen stock of original batteries
If they're not certified by Insta360, then their YT site isn't going to recommend them, because that would only risk liability for a product they have no control over.
I have had both the list 360 One RS and the insta 360 X2. underwater with the 360 module it is not possible to use the cameras without the original case. images are blurry and lacking in detail. but even with the 4K module I had problems it doesn't have enough image definition. I used the 4K module without a case and the image was not as good as the GoPro 8 I had. so I would say that today GoPro is much better for underwater shooting. Suggestins?
Hello, I went diving today with the one r twin edition camera using the default lens (the flat one) during a somewhat cloudy day and the footage was almost completely black where as my gopro hero 7 black had no issues. I even used two 1000 lumen flashlights on my rig and was only able to get a decent shot when i was almost touching my target. What settings should i use when diving with this camera as i want to use it mainly for diving?
Me hubiera gustado más ver la one R con el accesorio de buceo, uffff hubiera sido super genial, es la cámara que hoy me gusta más, y apenas mi economía lo permita será mía Pd. Inscrito al canal y muy pendiente de todos los vídeos
I love the one x really much and it is pefect on land but I also do a lot of underwater filming and the dive housing ist not really good. It makes an complete unnecessary big nadir. I call it the two teeth of dead - one left and one right.., if insta360 would make a new much smaller housing the nadir would be much less or maybe even invisible. So you could use much more of the picture area. At the moment one of the two teeth of death always try to come in picture and you have to reframe extremely zooming in which is leaving the left 1920x1080 in bad picture quality as you can detect in some of the scenes of this video.
Hey there! Thank you very much for your feedback! We will feedback this to the team! For underwater filming, dive case can be invisible as long as they are used in the recommeded way and the optimized stitiching is chosen while you editing. When you playback the footage, you should choose either stitching for Dive Case or Venture Case. The bottom of the Dive Case is designed to protect the camera underwater, so the bottom side of the footage will be covered more than if you use the Venture Case. While you're editing with the Dive case, we recommend reframing your video to avoid the bottom of the case, that way your video will come out great. So, keep that in mind while shooting with your Dive Case. If you've got any other questions, contact us directly through customer service here: www.insta360.com/intercom. @@insta360 Hi there. You are wrong. You cannot stitch dive case material with venture case stitching mode. I own both cases. A good reason for me to use 360 under water is to decide later which part and direction of the video to take - this is theoretically the big advantage. If there is always one „teeth of death“ in the picture (see Carsten B.) it ruins everything. Reframing and zooming in so far (your recommended way?) brings me just to the point to use a normal camera where I also can have 4K after instead of poor quality in FHD. So making a really better new dive case would be a big improvement for underwater 360 in general. For example footage see a dive case underwater tiny planet here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T2Mjzb6eyKE.html at 6:49 and also on land 0:10 + 4:39 without case.
I want to be able to stick that camera on a stick and put it underwater and view on an iPad or other tablet. Is that possible? Can wifi come through the water and give a view on a tablet?
Hi there! When assembled the Insta360 ONE R is waterproof to 5 meters without the case. The Dive Case is designed for diving beyond 5 meters. We recommend you sign up for stock notice so you can get first in line to pick one up.store.insta360.com/product/one_r_dive_case Thanks again for your interest!
I bought my insta360 one2x last month. When i try my insta360 one2x in the water since they say water proof 10meters.I only put in the water maybe 1meter when i check my camera insta360 one2x was dead till now was so sad.
@@insta360 I am getting One R Dive case very soon & my mates are going to take it diving with southaustralia.com/products/eyre-peninsula/event/swim-with-the-giant-cuttlefish in two weeks time a turorial for One R is very important for them as they haven't used 360 cameras & i want them to take both my One X & One R with them 2 times the opportunity to get great video.
Not sure you can class these as real 360 video, sure it was filmed with the One X but all this is showing the forward facing images tht allow you to see 180 degrees, you get pretty much the same from a Go Pro - did you ever show any from the rear lens where the stitching is really poor. Sure your advise is great but not what most underwater people want to show. After about 10 dives my 360 dive housing flooded and is now useless and yes I had the absorbant pads installed. Great for above water but not really useful below.
Hey thanks for your comment. We have a lot of these clips on our channel in full 360 and are working on a full length 360 edit too, just needed a more powerful computer after mine died 😔
I am still happy with my diving housing even though insta360 could work on one that considerably reduces the nadir. Here is some footage I took last summer: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2X2fb53NzYg.html
Your Tips are nice. BUT the Android-App is only 50% working. Functions missing, functions are not exportable, UX really annoying. Don't say its a App for Android available, the app is almost useless at the moment.
Hi Thank you again for the feedback! Would you mind explain more in details here , www.insta360.com/intercom e.g. Android App for which camera and the model and brand of your android phone. Our support team will strive their best to help.:)
@@insta360 got a bloody scratch on my lens just for touching it against a balcony at a store while paying... it was using a pouch to protect it and even so... a scratch? How??? It should not happen.. it wasn't tarmac or nothing that hard... and the camera was inside the dive housing pouch... and I hit the balcony super slow... do you have a representative to replace the lens in Portugal?
@@undervisionpro9970 do you use an app when you want a quick edit, to colour correct, if so, what app do you recommend, thanks and keep up the awesome work
That is quite expensive dive case that capable up to 30m depth.. but going useless without red filter accessories available. Cuz beyond 10 m your footage is all blue which is hard to color correct and plus especially got worsen with no manual white balance setting in the device. That being said, that dive case is useless, only good for max 10m depth, like those guys in the video, they are literally very shallow so the color is not really affected. Come on Insta360 One X we need solutions!
Next spring I will be filming Lisbon - Estoril - Cascais and the coast of Algarve! Send me a One X or One R and I will use them for my videos about Portugal . Cheers
Loving my One X dive case. I can see how people want to avoid the nadir, but I like to occasionally throw in tiny planet scenes too, it’s the signature shot for 360 cams. Took mine to (former) world’s deepest pool, and it was great fun! Check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pOsAiZRqneM.html
Nice informative video , but the guy looks super annoying. Cracking useless joke and weird humour. Kind of person I would completely ignore if I meet him in person.
