A do-it-yourself installation of Torklift's Ecohitch on the Chevrolet Bolt. The Ecohitch by Torklift is a bolt-on hitch that involves removing the entire back bumper of the Chevy Bolt, as well as making a cut in the bumper fascia to accommodate the hitch. This hitch is rated at 300 lbs tongue weight and 2000 lbs towing weight. This DIY video is different from others in a few ways. We do a different cut in the bumper fascia, leaving a 1.5" strip of plastic instead of cutting all the way through the bumper. We also do not skip over the most difficult bolts to remove, nor do we leave any of our struggles out.
