This Tornado Had Winds Of 135mph With Gusts 140mph Thats A Very Weak F3!!! Increadable For This Country And Serious In Any Country Even The U.S! Not Mini Lol!!
I was right in the eye of that Tornado in 444 LayPool RD. The top flat roof smashed in my front door: my room shook like a box , but i didn't know what happened. Death could be very sudden for some- but not for me that day
I remember the tornado in 2005. I was 9 then and we lived right where the tornado path was (specifically on Priestly Road in Sparkbrook). It was a 3 storey house and my room was on the top floor. and from the window we had a view of Highgate where we saw the tornado forming, coming our way and passing right above us! Because we had no roof and it was a pretty strong building we took no damage but it was very terrifying to watch! We thought we were going to die that day! There was no warning and it happened very quickly... fortunately nothing has happened in the last 12 years but I still believe the Midlands is a hotspot for Tornados. Especially with these hurricane like storms appearing across the UK.
People are so reluctant in Europe to use the word "" tornado" they call it "mini tornado". More than once have I hrard the same naem for full blown tornadoes in the Netherlands. BTW: the NL has the most tornadoes per m2 than any other country, but luckily they are of the weaker type and short lasting. But they are pretty frequent. I have seen mesocyclones (50% of these produce a tornado) every year near my home. But never saw a full blown tornado (I did see funnel clouds though)...
Serenoj69 Tornadoes in the netherlands are not called tornadoes if they are under the EF0 rating. They are called something else but i forgot the name of it.
Y Do They Always Refer To Twisters In This Country As Mini? The Birmingham Twister Was F2 Winds Were Aproaching 135mph At Times And At It Widest It Was Nearly A Kilometre Wide? Mini I Dont Think So Even An F0 Would Be Horrible To Be In Theres Nothing Mini Bout Tornadoes? :/
@jenzzer90 I think you might have them mixed up-the Boscastle Floods happened 16th August 2004 and the Birmingham Tornado happened 28th July 2005, so it happened almost a year after the Boscastle floods that the Birmingham tornado hit
Kanefan are you the one that posted a couple of pictures online a few years ago? Because you can see the funnel just touching down in one of them and they were uploaded by someone with the brothers of destruction wrestlers in their name
@@TheFinalHoss You mean of that the scene you briefly could see the Tornado. Yes I did but due to the quality (being 2005 at the time) it was not that good but it's the only clear shot of the Tornado that hit Birmingham when other footage of it is just not there and like an invisible.because unlike those in the united states our tornadoes in the UK are small and barely seen or even noticed that we don't even notice as if they're like ghosts.
@019208237 There is a guy in the USA who has seen the very centre of an F5 tornado. He was in his shelter and the door was ripped off. His dog got sucked out but he held on and lived to tell the story!
A tornado can form any where, It starts from a severe thunderstorm and an unstable / off balanced atmosphere.. When winds in the upper atmosphere are faster than the winds on the sufface thunderstorms will convert these winds in there updraft and when up and down motion contuniues, The a tornado will form... Mini tornado my ass! had to be atleast a EF1 Tornado which are 86-110mph winds! EF0 65-85 MPH EF1 86-110 MPH EF2 111-135 MPH EF3 136-165 MPH EF4 166-200 MPH EF5 200+ MPH
What its like to be in the center of a tornado?? the tornado was many yards away from those people in the park. if they were in the center the camera man would of been sucked up and blown away probably killed! mini tornado? do me a favour! sounds under dramatic not over ;-)
Saw a dark cloud today.. ^-^ and a load of thunder... lots of rain.. England is very rainy... for some reason... o.o.. Hurricane?? It' not everyday you have high peed winds and let go of the lamp-post and fall on your back looking like a starfish a moment later... -_- The wind is powerful, set up the defenses! (a windbreak) xox
I was 1 yrs old, it was 16 days before this happened, now I am older to know what happens if we have a tornado, but one was nearly at my primary school! (Leeds, were I was born and still living here) 😭😭😭😭😭
@pokachunk it was my birthday too, i went to see my girl i got late, i had to drive through falling trees n shit, either way she woulda killed me anyway for being late.....
@NovaGypsy truth hurts, look at it when it snows whole of the UK grind to a halt. Im not the only person that thinks the same, loads of people called in the the radio saying the same thing
i had 4 tornados sent to my garden in scotland and england; was preaching on two occasions just before they struck. The last one i was preaching ` how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, Jesus dying in our place, makes him the only lawyer able to save us from eternity without God, if we love him.
look around you and see Gods works.the sun is the proper distance from the earth, for life forms to exist, the moon affects the tides cleaning the see, isa night light, even silvered like a mirror to reflect the sun, it is a calender, we set our time to the stars, etc.plats had to be made the same time as insects, or they could not be pollinated, and would die.the food chain is oredered, as dogs give birth to dogs and not cats etc.so there is a designer, hence a God we need to make our peace wit
No sweetheart this wasn’t a bad one. Want to see a bad one look up the el Reno tornado of 2013 it was a mile wide and mile a long. Tore down every house in its path brick and wood and killed three tornado chasers. Turned their cars into trash. Anything over and f3 is tornado food.
there are no strings on me, Jesus set me free from sins guilt and condemnation, and all who believe/ love Jesus will have the freedom to roam heaven for all eternity, while the unbelieving perish in eternal prison
