This video shows the early part of the quad-state tornado from tonight up through Monette, AR and Caruthersvile, MO. We also intercepted an earlier small cone with the first cycle near gravitron deployment. Very worried at the widespread scenes of damage that first light will show

I had to do pizza deliveries in south county St. Louis with the constant sirens going off, it was quite the experience. I’m a huge weather fanatic and have been researching a lot on this years weather- I would like some input from other people here. With the storms current still raging today in the east, we don’t know the exact number of current tornado touch downs- yet I’m thinking it may be a mirrored image to the 2011 outbreak-leading to our most likely a active winter season and a active 2022 tornado season. Anyone else have thoughts?

( 24 ) And when they saw it as a cloud approaching their valleys, they said, "This is a cloud bringing us rain!" Rather, it is that for which you were impatient: a wind, within it a painful punishment, ( 25 ) Destroying everything by command of its Lord. And they became so that nothing was seen [of them] except their dwellings. Thus do We recompense the criminal people. ..Brothers, this is a warning and a warning from God not to commit the forbidden things that God has forbidden, and not to disobey His Messengers, Jesus and Muhammad..I bear witness that there is no god but God, and bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God and that Jesus is His servant and Messenger...O God, have mercy on us with your mercy."

It's just so insane to think that _WIND_ can just rip completely through a massive concrete building, like wet toilet paper. I'm looking at the pictures and remembering a tornado that went right past my middle school in '02 while we were all sandwiched _upstairs_ in the hallways because the school was overcrowded. The tornado just obliterated half a YMCA, an entire Payless Shoe Store, and a bunch of houses on the way to the field adjacent to our school, blowing out every window on that side of the building and scattering all the desks and chairs, everything. That tornado was nearly responsible for destroying a school full of kids, and I've had a healthy respect and fear of tornadoes ever since. It was the September directly after September '01. And the following September ('03), our state's governor died while in office. I grew up thinking September was just cursed.

Hello Reed, I am Michaela from Germany, have been following you on social media for some time and admittedly have very little idea about tornadoes. Of course, I followed the news regarding the current tornadoes in Kentucky and other places in the USA. First of all, of course, I would like to express my condolences and sympathy to the victims and their friends and families. But I have a question: Isn't TV and radio at least warned of the possibility of tornadoes? I know that tornadoes cannot be predicted 100%. But can't you at least calculate the probability of tornadoes and warn against them? Why were there so many victims? Maybe you would like to explain this or make a video on this topic. Kind regards, Michaela.

We have elderly friends of the family as residents in the NH at Monette and family in Leachville Arkansas also. They got everyone out of the NH and this morning the news is that 1 died at the NH but 5 or more with severe injuries. The tornado then hit Leachville and traveled on to Missouri and Kentucky. The small town of Caraway where I grew up ( just south of Monette ) had a close call as a tornado was on the ground about to roll right through the middle of town and just before it hit it took an eastward turn and missed or there would have been another devastating story on the news this morning.

My daughter lives in bowling green I have never been more afraid of something in my whole life even though she came out untouched which is a miracle because you can look at her door and see nothing of what used to be it's just unbelievable and devastating and I'm still heartbroken for those that lost everything

I was sleeping when it happened in Kentucky. I was too close to the window and when my baby brother came in I thought it was just the wind and rain and said, “It’s just the rain”. What I didn’t know was 30 tornados formed in these states. I was completely devastated about what happened last night. I pray for all who died, got injured, or experianced this incident.

Crazy. I live in Northern Kentucky, and woke up just today, and is seeing the crazy damage, and the amount of fatalities in one county, which was around 50, and is going up. I was scared as heck yesterday night when one of the tornadoes was heading our way, but luckily it faded away.

My friend was a thousand feet away from it and slept right through it. He remembers the hail and the power going out but that's it. I slept through the one in Evansville, IN, Nov. 6th '05. I remember waking up and thinking how bad the thunder was and when the lights went out, but had no idea about a tornado until later. My Seabee company went looking for bodies at the trailer park that morning and afternoon.

We live in Hardyville KY a tiny little village in Hart County. We lost our home and everything in it. At around 2:40 am it hit us. Luckily we were hunkered down in our basement.
