Hey Brian- I got a problem with my heater It wont start I wont do anything No fan No spark Nothing All it does is the lite on the on/off switch comes on when you flip switch on Nothing else does anything I looked it over for defects and other than cracked hoses I didnt find anything obvious I looked on circuit board for a fuse but didnt see one Do they all have a fuse? Its not new but its never been used Its been stored for a few years since new Id appreciate any help
Not all of the heaters have a fuse. Check your wires close to make sure they haven't been damaged by rodents. Typically if nothing happens when the machine is turned on, the board is bad.
@@Brian_the_repair_guy Thanks for helping I was afraid some part of the circuit board was fouled up Can they be trouble shot Can they be repaired Replaced Someone must be able to fix it Id hate to trash the heater They are not cheap Thanks Im not ready to give up yet
@@jacjumpin7471 you can replace them. There is a man in Atlanta that repairs boards. You can email him and see if he can fix it. Jungkim@mindspring.com
Just for shits and giggles, I ordered the brass nozzle for a 125,000 btu unit and put it in my 80,000 btu unit and now mine heats like a larger model for the price if a nozxle! Crazy easy mod.
Take the cover off, physically spin the fan by hand. It should spin freely. If you feel a bind in the fan, then the fuel pump should be adjusted. Try this first, let me know.
@@Brian_the_repair_guy ok thank you I have the cover off yesterday and the fan spun free then hit a tight spot turn the power back on watching the fan close did try to spin a quick second but stopped and tripped
@@aaronlingenfelter7797 this usually means the fuel pump on the rear is out of adjustment. It needs to be reset. If you are unsure, I can make a video this week in how to do this.
@@Brian_the_repair_guy ok thank you I haven’t touched it since it was new a couple years ago I was looking at the book that came with it and tells how to adjust the screw and I noticed when I was was not reading any psi on the gauge when I turn it on I will try to adjust it with settings in the manual and see if I can get it to fire thanks again for the messages back
