Thanks Noah but FYI I just pretend to make those mistakes so my videos seem more relatable. In real life I do everything perfectly the first time every time 🤫
I can’t believe I haven’t found this channel while I’m looking around for first gen content!!! Video was great. I’m planning on doing an upgrade on the spindle and add gussets as well.
Nice work. I’m debating making a set of these finally got to my front suspension.. got it 95% then snow storm hit so I’ll have to finish it up Monday weather permitting..
I agree. Back when I bought my lift I ordered the Dobs. I waited months and with no ship date in sight I cancelled my order and went for the OME's. They're the HD springs but they've gotten a lot of "exercise" Thanks man nice username
Thanks I visited Seattle for a week when I was young and it didn't rain once. My cousin joked that I should stick around bc I brought the sun. I'd love to get back out to Washington some day, really nice out there
Just got the wife an '03 she loves it! I've never heard of anyone using a bushing for a spacer but it doesn't seem like a bad idea. Thanks for watching man
I did not but nowadays I would. I'd Hit it with the map gas, weld it, and then roll it up in a welding blanket and let it cool overnight. I've been having great luck welding Toyota cast steel using this method.
No issues at all. I think the key is to keep feeling inside of it and take your time, bouncing back and forth between the spindles. The one minute welding sequence In the video took about 6 hours in real life.
