I grew up in the countryside, and as a kid, we often told each other with my friends that "You are beautiful like a new tractor". I never took it as a compliment. But seeing Spencer's face, I just realized ... It was a compliment. This channel is one of the last corners on this planet untouched by the chaos going around. Your videos make my days better a little bit and I cannot be grateful enough for this.

I can't get over how beautiful the skirting looks on your home. It absolutely took the look to a modern and polished level. Congrats on the John Deere tractor.

Your babies with their HUGE eyes are so darling. I was struck by how fast Cam is growing and isn't it funny that he reminds me of an old man with a walker. We start out walking and needing to borrow the security of something so we won't topple over, and eventually end up the same way. Life is amazing and new and even though the future is uncertain, we will still find ways to grow and get-a-round.

I never complain about my husband’s need for a tractor and it’s attachments as it is a work horse and more than pays for itself. Saves time, money, and our labor!

When we started full on homesteading the only “debt” that we allowed ourselves to go into is the purchase of our tractor. It’s paid off and was 100% worth it.

Wow, the house is looking great…the skirting looks awesome, a new tractor that will help immensely, and a new motor for the riding lawn mower to boot! I got to tell ya that when I saw little Cam learning to walk, seeing those little feet moving and a big smile on his little face, just made my heart melt. Both of your children are the cutest! Your flowering bushes are beautiful and the idea to collect the water for watering is very smart. My eyes got real big when I saw how much was collected in that 5 gal bucket! I am happy for that tractor. It s great, Spencer corrected mower. Both of children are so adorables and happy😊💓💙. There was little snake again, luckily Spencer got caught it. I gotta say Kenzie, you have really gotten your video skills down in the process of documenting the building of your house. So happy for you to get a tractor. We have 33 acres and didn’t get the tractor until we got older. What a huge difference. No more crazy digging. It pulls dead or over grown plants, does everything. And out summer cleanup is so much easier we put stuff in front long bucket and dump right into dump trailer. Another amazing investment. We use to drag stuff out of back of truck. No longer. Now we are each 70. Love the ease. Enjoy your lives we love following along. Can’t wait to see new project.

I'm surprised there isn't a warranty on the insulation work or the way it was applied. Someone should have come back to assure that everything was sprayed properly considering how much it cost to have it done. House looks really nice now.

Having a tractor will be a huge help for future projects. I didn’t find your channel until you had already set your containers in place and started building your home. I’ve always wondered how much land you own. If you own much land you might want to consider purchasing a grapple bucket for your tractor at some point. They are great for cleaning up downed limbs after storms.

Kids are growing up way too fast. Going to have two runners running around to watch. Getting "Greenie" will be a great help. Looking to get one myself. We always just put the stuff in that you can get at Walmart. It will make a huge difference if you are going to be in the tractor all day long. OMG! You eitherread my mind or I recall providing a link to another DIY channel who just purchased some big equipment. That tractor will definitely pay for itself. You have to do an unbelievable amount of labor with a shovel and two hands otherwise. A tractor for you guys was a dream I had for you. I am also SO thankful you skirted the house. You don't need to have snakes coming out from underneath your home, least of all a copperhead. I am so shocked that your little boy is standing already. To me, it just seems you just gave birth, but I know you didn't, lol! Beau IS so sweet. Congrats on the tractor. That was an awesome decision to get one.

As your home build project comes to an end you may want to consider doing sustainable living projects, like making your own bio diesel for the tractor, raising free-range fryer chickens, etc.

Don't know how you're not going ballistic with the abundant poisonous snakes and babes! What I learned years back at a trip to the zoo... folk in India use free range Peafowl to keep snakes in check. Might be a consideration!

Hey, Nice JD, John Deere...that it is what my lawn mower is. My first husband, David whom passed suddenly 14 years ago was an Excavating Contractor, self employed for 33 years. He had Always a Case Backhoe, John Deere Bulldozer and Dodge Dumptrucks until not available in United States. He then went to International Dumps. He Only owned Dodge pickups... He also had Farm Tractors, John Deere, an A, B (was mine), G, H and an I which is Indusrial (Yellow) in color, rest were Green/Yellow. They were all Antique, not sure of years but were all restored and Mint, looked new. One of our Dogs middle name was Deere! Hope ya enjoy your new toy! Evev I ran Dozer and Backhoe but must admit his equipment was much larger naturally as that was his living. I would load Dump truck but never drive it, afraid I would run into something.....not a mirror driver only, like to use rear view mirror, but No good when box was full and down!! No You Tubing for me, waited til he got home! Enjoy!
