Wonderful Rosalie! This is the closest to your Jimmy Brown workout on Total Gym site which I do 3 times a week and love it! I have listened to you for over 10 years and the reason I love working out and seeing how body and mind responds. Really enjoy strength exercising & how my arms look. I also ❤was a huge fan of the Simply Fit board and for years used it too. I am 75 and hope to keep exercising for a long time!

Got my Total Gym Ultimate exactly one week ago today and already seeing results! PCOS pushed me over the 300lb mark but here I am, 7 days in after using the Total Gym with a 3 days on, 1 day off routine and I'm already down 5lbs with a definite increase in my mobility and that's in a week with this routine! Started at level 1 and moving on to level 2 already. I can already tell this is the best decision I've made and now my husband is starting to work out as well. Working towards that Total Gym Challenge!

I just finished this workout and I absolutely loved it! I needed a full body workout before a Dr appointment and this is just what the doctor ordered! My heart was pumping for most of it, so I got my cardio in as well. I’ve already saved it to my library because I’ll definitely be going back to this one time and time again. Just finished this workout again today. I really love this one. Sad part is I go in for major bunion surgery and will be out of commission for quite a while, but will start from scratch again and hopefully build myself back to where I am after 2 years if working out with total gym!

I have a burning question - how does the resistance work in terms of upper and lower body? The higher one is on the bar the higher the resistance or vice versa? And is it different for upper and lower body? Hope I’m explaining my question well.
There are 12 -15 different heights to choose from- it can lie flat like a Pilates reformer…you change height after exercise according to muscle & strength

Definitely! You can do seared rows with thumbs up, palms up, palms down, alternate with single arm rows and cross cable rows! Always feel free to modify!
Do what works best for you! I’m 61 and I work out 5x a week - get 10,00O steps a day and latest research says as long as you work your muscles to fatigue- you’ll add muscle to your body. The more muscle you have, the better your metabolism- so you do what works for you
@@RosalieBrownFit You are obviously in great shape. Are high rep, daily exercises of all muscle groups the best way to lose weight for someone who is out of shape and just getting back into exercising?
I’d recommend challenging your muscles in 12-24 reps aim for 4-5 workouts a week.. workouts that I post are the workouts that I do. I do full body workouts 5x a week with many clients doing the same and loving the results. Plus 10,00o steps 7x a week

You must have a FIT MODEL OR XLS MODEL to use weights & weight bar…. Check your gym .. is there holes at bottom to slide a weight bar in? If you want a total gym that holds weight plates- it’s on sale at qvc.com and TSc.ca
