Honestly, I think the Clan Pestilens will be a DLC, like a "The Snake and the Rat" DLC with Tehenhauin and the current lord of Clan Pestilens, pretty much like the "King and Warlords" DLC.

Id like to see a mechanic for the Skaven where if you make an alliance and break it in a quick amount of time you get bonuses to your armies for a short period. Kinda representing how your Clan was prepping to betray their allies the entire time.

Arch, I'm a little disappointed that you didn't mention the Amazons, Lustrian halflings (that are simply Pygmies of Warhammer world) and Lustrian counterparts to Athel Loren treemen and dryads. Tis' all very obscure part of the fluff, but it exist and I hoped that you could say something more about this topic. Maybe in the future?

it's kind of cool to hear your speculation and how it wasn't *that* far off from what came to pass in the game. but thank you infinitely for making these videos. I'm new to the lore of Warhammer, having thoroughly enjoyed TW : Warhammer 1 and now 2...so I've been looking for a decent video giving an overview of the background of the races and their motivations.

Are Lustrian amazons & pygmies still a thing in the lore? If so, it'd be interesting to have them in the game. If I remember correctly, they used to fight with the Lizardmen over holy places, so they could make good starting enemies.

the skaven need a misfire mechanic for their artillery. warp lighting cannons, warfire throwers or poision wind mortars can destroy enemy units or overheat and blow up and take out half your army. Then the rest mass routes away.

the Skaven are hillarious to play. One turn sheer chaos and either half the enemy is dead or half of your own troops died to the god of dice hitting own troops with poison wind globadiers and the bell. Ahh good times.

Love the vids! Bastildon is the dinosaur laser beam though and Engine of the Gods is like a portable stargate that stops time on the back of a triceratops. Agreed about the laser beam on the back of the Bastildon though absolutely as cool as it sounds not to mention practically unkillable both in 8th even more so in AoS. I'm hoping that Clan Pestilens are DLC and that general Skaven/Verminus is in Southlands. Pestilens are basically Skaven Nurgle so I'd like something more original as you said like Skryre or Eshin. I'd really like Thanquol in there though... :D

Skaven can only occupy Skaven Karaks High Elves can only occupy Ulthuan Dark Elves can only live in boats Lizard Men can live anywhere in Lustria if it has enough Lizard Men Corruption and isn't a Skaven Karak

I loved this video, sure was helpful to someone who generally understands the world, but needed a little bit of basic, simple knowledge!

Considering that Lustria is a giant jungle, it would be cool if the Campaigns featured the Lizardmen using their home ground to literally eat the invaders. Before there were Tyranids, there were -Death Worlds- jungles eager to add your biomass to theirs.

Arch has made me a Skaven lover with his lore videos and his Mordheim let's-play videos.But his description of the Skaven as a "fantastical, fluffy-wuffy, delicious-awesome species" was just over-the-top! Don't get me wrong, it was hilarious! But that is NOT how I would describe the Skaven in this or any other universe.

My idea for Skaven would be that the start out a just generic Skaven and their "research" is devided into the 4 clans. You can have a bit from each clan, or go all in on one and maybe lock out the best troops and tech from the others. Any LL from a particular clan can have the regular bonuses to its clans troops and perhaps even faster research rate for it.

Wath if you shot into skaven slaves , they get a moral bonus

You forgot that saurus and skinks have their own spawning pools (Saurus spawning pools are deep in the city, skinks are everywhere... Kroxigors come from the skink pool and (big as they are), are very much adapted to the swamps as skinks are... Also, chameleon skinks were thought extinct, because they were spawned in only 1 city that fell in the chaos war.. But now they have begun to spawn in other cities, after many thousands of years
