The Catholic Church is “CLOSED”! Anybody you see on television is in silicone disguise(including sheen). YOU may “NOT” support or help finance “any” University, Church or Institution!
Jesus please give me strength to get through this Christmas. I’m holding on and keeping faith. I keep faith even as I constantly struggle to provide for my kids and I constantly struggle to buy groceries. My husband is with you God. At times I feel so alone especially as a single mom. Since suffering a heart attack two years ago and my on going battle with lupus I’m overwhelmed. Both of my sons are autistic. I’m now homeschooling them so my hours to work are limited. Thankfully I have you Lord Jesus. Please continue to give me strength. ❤
You are never alone. Remember, Christ will never send more than you can handle......but even more importantly, really remember "Do not worry when bad things happen ,because nothing happens without God." -- The Didache I will pray for you and your family. May God bless you and his peace be with you
That won't happen, it's been held up too long on purpose I would say. He doesn't need it, he is Home, what other honor does he need. He will be in my eyes always, he was wonderful and his Warnings about the church are now taking place. Ape Catholic Church.
I don't think that would be possible under Francis Bergoglio. If he were alive today he would have been excommunicated and sanctioned for violating the UN's human rights charter 😂😂😂
Archbishop Fulton Sheen knew that woman needed to go to confession to get her back to being a practicing Catholic and then a Nun. So funny & clever! The devil discourages us from going to confession. I am having surgery 2 days after Christmas so that motivated me to go yesterday. The more we go to confession the better we feel about ourselves and we grow closer to Christ.☺ May God's love bless you all this Christmas!
I remember watching Bishop Sheen on TV, in black and white. I think he was broadcast on Saturday nights. I'm not Catholic, but I had Catholic cousins. I can recite the Catholic table grace from memory as they prayed before meals as children. I watched him because he was so dramatic in his cape and presentation. I'm a Christian and found him fascinating as I grew up in a Baptist church. His messages were always doctrinally sound IMO. He was a very inspirational Christian and touched many lives. I look forward to meeting him in heaven.
I used to love this magnificent Man of GOD when I was a Baptist too❣️ But I love him even more as a Convert to the Catholic Faith the last few years! I'm now living "from the inside" what I admired from the outside all those years!❤️❤️❤️ Merry Christmas in Heaven wonderful Man of GOD! Happy Birthday to our dearesr LORD and Savior JESUS CHRIST 🙏🎁🙏💖💖💖🎄🎄🎄✝️✝️✝️
Love this man so much. Thank you, he has made it Christmas after this terrible confusing week. God please give me the wisdom and courage that is needed going forward in these terrible days and months ahead.
Amen, Amen, Amen.... I remember as a child my mother watched Bishop Sheen all the time. Even young as I was...I had a certain appreciation for the way he spoke and conveyed his message. Simple and to the point. Merry Christmas everyone!
@@249er5678 I appreciate his intellect. However, he doesn't speak with such clarity and boldness as Bishop Sheen. I would say Mother Angelica was more like Bishop Sheen. She didn't care about human respect, but only wanted to please God.
Asking for prayers for my husband in the hospital that he can breathe on his own also walk and for the Drs. nurses and care workers to be compassionate.
Wonderful always and an inspiration always🙏 May all our Saints join in praying with us for great miracles of conversion the only gift worthy of effort which so many reject🙏😭
Jesus always finds His way to penetrate into my heart and soul through all these saints in heaven re echoing the gospel of faith, hope, and charity to humanity. Yes, it confession is a starting point for me, then to hope for change the bad things in life and to love God ever more in showing charity to people without asking for anything in return. Tis the season to be Jolly and Merry Christmas to all.
@@TheJoyoftheFaith My Mother met him before he was the Archbishop, she was a young lady who was a coat check in a restaurant. She explained just being in his presence was mystical
Bishop Sheen is more a shakespearean actor than anything..the resonant voice, the elaborate clothing and hand and body movements...I tend to get completely distracted from what he is actually saying..amen
I love how the word "touching' is so prominent here, it's the exact thing that has brought this church to the brink of collapse. Sheen seems totally diabolical to me, a very dangerous, emotionally violent and insane man... allowing your kids near a catholic priest is never a good idea but around Sheen I would guard them very carefully... he genuinely seems to be Legion.
This is a wonderful Christmas for the gay community--- Finally, Pope Francis clarified that homosexuality is not a sin and gay couples can be blessed---an early Christmas present for gay Christians ❤
@@pollywanda he is not infallible. You must fall for the trope that all the pope says is infallible. listen here, if the pope said kill all gays for example, he would be wrong. He is only infallible when speaking ex cathedra which was last done in the 1950's. unoffficially and in private he can say what he wants. The document he promulgated is an ORDINARY magesterial document, which means IT IS NOT FREE from error. It could be right it could wrong as in this case or a mixture. It can be and rightfully ignored. You really don't know the difference between an ordinary magestrial document and Extraordinary magesteriakl document He can very well say you should be gassed and still be wrong. That is why it is a magesterial document that is fallible i.e open to falsehoods
Wikipedia: In the ancient Roman calendar, December 25 was the date of the winter solstice. In AD 274, the emperor Aurelian made this the date of the festival Dies Natalis Solis Invicti, the birthday of Sol Invictus or the 'Invincible Sun'. Gary Forsythe, Professor of Ancient History, says "This celebration would have formed a welcome addition to the seven-day period of the Saturnalia (December 17-23), Rome's most joyous holiday season since Republican times, characterized by parties, banquets, and exchanges of gifts". A widely-held theory is that the Church chose December 25 as Christ's birthday (Dies Natalis Christi) to appropriate the Roman winter solstice festival marking the sun god's birthday (Dies Natalis Solis Invicti)
Nah. Dr. Taylor Marshall addressed this myth several days ago. And that’s what it is. A lie. If you knew for certain Jesus was sitting right there next to you as you typed, would you keep spreading it?
