...and I've seen a lot of people making the usual mistakes when washing their cars. To avoid waste of water, chemicals and time it's useful to operate from top to bottom, and direction of washing only in direction of dirty areas, otherwise you have to clean it twice. In case of using non-contact chemicals it's not necessary to pre-clean. Just spray it on the surface and let the Gravitation do their work.

I want to suggest that when next you're washing off the foam, start from the top. It saves time and energy.

Nope. Why? When you use Snow foam (for touchless wash) you should start from the bottom to top because the HPW (High Pressure Washer) acts like a brush. So it'll be like this Water>Snow foam>Pre-wash (bottom to top)>Wash (top to bottom). Ask any high end car washers to pre-wash from top to bottom they'll laugh on you

Wrong. Bottom to top keeps the soap on the car longer. Work your way up instead.

Wrong. You’re not rinsing the soap off, you’re scrubbing with the pressure washer so you need soap. Otherwise there’s no soap by the time you scrub the bottom.

It’s to keep the soap on the vehicle as long as possible. If you start at the top by the time you get to the bottom all the soap would be washed away. He is using it in combination with the pressure wash to clean without touching the paint. Not sure who needs the education here.

Lots of people lacking common sense here. Wash from bottom to top, it keeps the foam on longer. Then after the wash, reduce pressure and rinse from top to bottom. Its really not that hard to understand.

Rajat Plaha it's called brooming. For touchles soaps this is the correct method. The vehicle needs to be rinsed after water brooming it from the bottom.to the top .

That’s wrong. I’ve used nerta’s active diamond for about 2 years and you pressure wash from the bottom up. The pressure washer acts as a “brush” so you’re not just rinsing the soap off you’re essentially scrubbing with water. If you do from top down, there’ll be no soap by the time you “scrub” the bottom of the car. Once you’re done scrubbing, then you can rinse off any remaining soap from the top down.

No you don't! You don't just wipe it off because you want to use the soap efficiently to clean something and not just rinse it off with no sense. Bottom to top!
