Thanks for this review Vas. I just ordered this for my daughter who's 15 soon so she can have a great time racing around with me and a mate with our Kraton's .. We're not into jumping etc so this truck will be awesome..Tough, reliable and quick enough out the box.. I'm going to make the adjustments you mention here as it looks perfect..Appreciate all your efforts Vas..
Standard receivers can handle up to 9v and some even more, so if the receiver couldn't handle it it would've gone up in smoke the second I turned the car on. 😉
Nice bash, some big jumps there! So the reason the ESCs come with the settings that they do, is that they all have to have a standard "tune" out of the box. Because when a customer breaks their ESC and buys the exact same one at the hobby shop, they expect to be able to plug it in and it work exactly the same as the stock car's ESC. So that's why the brakes are 75%, the BEC is 6V, etc., even though the car would drive better with different settings. Every TOROX 135A has to come with a generic tune meant for any car, because 95% of customers aren't going to know how to change the settings themselves or even what to do with it.
Nice run Vas. Every time I see this truck it does not disappoint. Curious to find out with the increase gearing no wheelies. I'm thinking a tire swap may do the trick.

Great video Vas, looks like some different tyres might be needed for the loose stuff you run on, looked great on the grass and as you say some heavier centre diff fluid
Pretty dang impressive. It took a hella beating and only left with very minimal damage over all far as cost goes. That's definitely not bad. Most other trucks would have exploded after a few bad landings. lol It has plenty of power also. Id like to see how much better it performs with a bit bigger tires not so much taller but a bit wider to help with the stability I would think anyway ? Awesome bash mate 🔥👍✌️
Was really disappointed the truck wouldn't flip forward's or backwards going by your comments in the video. But since then I've seen a ton of other video's running a stock truck on 4S flipping both ways easily. So I can only get you didn't have the right jump to do them or your surface was too slippery and you didn't feel confident. But you shouldn't have said the truck can't do it when it well and truly can. You almost talked me out of buying one.
I think you'll find that those that are doing flips have changed out center diff oil, which is something I intend to do as well. Wasn't trying to talk anyone out of buying one, just giving honest feedback on the truck's setup out of the box. Go and watch my video of the Team Magic E5HX Plus 4S and you'll see the setup on that truck is far better for stunts than this one. Not being able to do flips is not lack of confidence or grip, it's just the truck is not setup for it outta the box. Simple.
It took some abuse, shame the shock stand offs bolt is not removable, it's one unit but still very cheap to buy a pack of 4. Great video as always /Per
The new Arrma 4s line everyone is still waiting for is going to really have to step it up! Even the increased 3s pricing at 370 usd should give people pause when we have this for 120 usd more. May not sound equal, but many change out the stock arrma plastic shocks at the tune of 120 alone. And many change driveshafts too, etc. This is all alloy and has better parts out of the box. So.... Who knows. Arrma are innovative so can't wait to see what they do.
Killer truck , no truck is perfect for everyone i realize . Too many diffrences in setups and styles and skill sets ..this opposite the maxx where u can flip do tricks but not in exact control. Kronos hubs axles and 6s esc and you have ultimate trickster.
6S in this truck will basically make it a Jambo with short arms. Not what I'm after. I want to good power to weight ratio on 4S Max. That's the idea of this truck and that's what I want from it. And I will get it, one way or another. 😉
